“Great local diner. Good service and good food. They made sure to accommodate our requests for no pork items( got turkey bacon and chicken sausage). Good coffee as well. Close to a little strip mall and other shops and on the way to JFK. Come here for breakfast often. Only complaint is that the parking lot gets packed sometimes as place is often busy and it’s kind of difficult at times to pull out of the place as it’s small.“
“Always satisfied at this diner. Irish breakfast is a large serving, good for 2 people really- has black and white pudding, beans, ham with cooked tomatoes. Breakfast specials come with a small glass of juice, good prices. Mykonos omelette had chunks of feta with tomatoes. 2 eggs with meat is perfect serving size. The place is clean, clean restrooms. Food came out quickly. Service, during our most recent visit, is friendler than the last one. Meter parking in the area charges $0.25 for 1/2 hr.“
“Just went for the first time in December, but I've been there 3 times since. Easily my new favorite diner the food is really good and the service is great as well. According to my 6 year old son, it's a 5 star restaurant because he loves the bacon! I do agree, though it's a very nice little diner. Excellent burgers and French toast, fresh black and white cookies for dessert and great milkshakes!“
“My wife and I, wanted to experience a different place to eat from. After searching Google search, she decided to go to this diner after reading their reviews. This was our first time visiting "The Classic Diner." When we arrived to the location there was a small parking lot. I looked at my wife like," Where the h--- you bought me to! She payed no attention to my expression. She went to the back of the car and pulled out my wheelchair, then we proceeded to the Diner. We was greeted by the owner who directed us to our table. That's where all the fun began. Our waiter who goes by the name Tino, was very professional wrapped in a sense of humor made our dining experience that much enjoyable. As we sat and talked, our meals came, it was more than we expected. Half fry chicken, cooked to perfection alongside large French toast, coffee and juice. Couldn't eat all the chicken, so we got a to-go plate. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks to The Classic Diner. We will be back!“
“Homey diner spot in the neighborhood and it’s a real gem. Kinda hard to notice from the store front but inside is a bustling and welcoming family-owned diner. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to serve. Their coffee is delicious and I have yet to find a dish that I wasn’t satisfied with. Tried the corned hash with eggs and it was yum :) The chicken salad triple decker sandwich was also delicious. The food is always made fresh and super filling! Will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu! Thanks for the great service!“
“Excellent service however to the owners please put a lock on the ladies bathroom as it is only meant for one lady to use at a time. The bathroom stall has a big opening where if anyone enters into the bathroom you are exposed. Your every private part and what you are wiping is exposed. Unacceptable. Do something about this. The woman who work there why haven’t you complained! I see you use it also?“
“Still good- but a much different experience during peak times. A bit of a chaotic rush inside and a long wait to be seated, but this is expected at 10 am on a Sunday...and a pretty good sign of how the food is. We have eaten here on a Saturday at 9am and the atmosphere was more relaxed and we received more attention. The food is pretty impressive either way. Good quality ingredients are prepared with care here. Don't start with me on how good the challah French toast was. And the home fries met every expectation I ever had for potatoes! We are quickly becoming regulars...during non-peak times, that is!“
“Had a overnight layover and searched Google for best breakfast near me next morning. Not far from JFK. Busy spot (food is great) service is great and fast. Clean place. I dined in. Simple neighborhood type 4 or 6 indoor long table layout for eating. The food was great. Eggs, bacon, pancakes with a coffee. I would definitely eat there again. I highly recommend it.“
“This place was SO good I am writing this review in the car right after having bfast. Unexpected surprise but so worth it. We had avocado toast, shrimp and grits, and corned beef hash all was extremely delicious…down to my hot chocolate. We will definitely be coming back to this place. Easily one of the BEST diner breakfast’s we’ve ever had! With IMPECCABLE service from waitress Nicole, give her a raise because she adds spark to this place.“
“Me and my family have been coming to Glendale Diner for YEARS! We will always love e Glendale diner! Delicious food, big portions, and always friendly service! It's still got that "old school" diner look to it too, which still works till this day.“
“Nice place that looks like an ice cream soda place. Good food. Friendly service. Nice to go here for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Closes at 2pm.Vegetarian options: All the breakfast food- eggs, pancakes, waffles, omelets, bagels, fruitParking: Parking in front - Quarter timed parking meters on Hempstead Avenue in front or park on the street Acorn Road by houses. There are some meters and some free residential parking in front of houses.Free Parking Lot across the street down by the movie theater.Kid-friendliness: The place is colorful. It has ice cream soda chairs inside and tables are outside. Nicely decorated. They have ice cream here and they sell candy there by their mini gift shop area. ?“
“The food is Amazing!! The grits are always made to perfection. I always order a veggie omelette and grits from Uber eats and is always good every time. I just had to leave a review . Would post a picture but I couldn't wait lol . Y'all just have to try for yourselves;)“
“Amazing little diner kind of old style run by family. The cook is the owner DINO, and the daughters are amazingly sweet & kind. If any allergies they are willing to comply with a special need. Unfortunately, it gets very crowded, so timing is everything it's worth the wait. Everything is fresh, especially the Greek dishes. Very family oriented location parking in the street wheelchair accessible.“
“I've come here for a while. Love the French fries. I notice a lot of people comming from the beach waiting for their bus or train orderering a a couple of orders of French fries. Only negative is the prices a few years ago were awsome now expensive. Me and friend recently ordered cheese burgers and ordered one order of French fries. Bill was over 40 dollars so much of that old time diner.“
“I dropped off a dozen roses for my friend and made me laugh. The things she said made me laugh and other things too I got the best breakfast special when they saw me with my arm bandage from the lab across the street for the regular blood work for diabetes“
“Went here for brunch and I got the egg plate with perfectly cooked, poached eggs. I also ordered ham and was disappointed that it was sliced lunch meat however it was good. Then they offer breakfast potatoes with peppers and onions or fries so I got fries. My friend got the veggie omelet and it looked amazing. Had zucchini and squash, mushrooms, onions and peppers and it was done just right. The price was fair for New York. Coffee was good.“
“Must say the food is great ?. Will go back with my family again. If you don't want it to be too pricey, don't select from the brunch menu. Do selective items. Service it quick enough. Keep in mind it's not a big place, for example if you have a family size from 7 to 8. You can also call before you go, and you can probably make arrangements. The choices are not below. The banana Parkes with eggs, wafflesand fry chicken, French toast with eggs, sausage bacon and ham.“
“Place was empty. The lady and the manager was too nice. I felt like I have always been coming to this spot for years. I can't speak for rhe other reviews but I am very pleased at the service and the food. Need a little seasoning but ok for a quick bite.“
“Supreme Diner exceeded my expectations with exceptional service and delicious food. The vegetable salad they prepared for our Thanksgiving potluck was the highlight, earning rave reviews from my entire team. The manager's professionalism and customer-oriented approach made the experience outstanding. They not only understood my needs but also delivered a perfectly crafted meal within just one hour of ordering. Kudos to Supreme Diner for their outstanding work ethic and, most importantly, for serving truly delightful food.Vegetarian options: The grilled vegetable salad was amazing!“
“I love this place. Food is great. Service is always amazing and super friendly. However it's very pricey in comparison to other diners in the area. About 30% more. Although expensive I still leave a great tip because of the service and yummy food.“
“Great place for a weekend breakfast. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is a lot of the booth seating are kind of tight. But, the service, food and choices are great. Our new favorite when heading to the mall, as it's walking distance. Give them a try.“
“Est. 1988Layout/atmosphere*Greek-owned; chrome exterior; cashier/bar by entrance; counter straight back; booths with music (CD) players; couple of TVs; parking lot in backService*QuickFood/drink*Spinach & Feta Omelette (home fries, toast) - good*French toast (challah, two pieces) - good“
“Our server was the hardest working server we've ever met! The food was fantastic. The host/manager/owner was very friendly and great with the kids. If you're in town, definitely come here!! I've never felt the need to post a review on Google until today.“
“I love this place for so many reasons. The food is great, always well-cooked and served quickly. The waiters are humble, nice, and create a good vibe. I've had heartfelt moments with them, and they always manage to lift my spirits and leave me smiling. There's one dish I particularly adore—the French onion soup is superb! I also enjoy sipping on their Apple Cinnamon tea, and their omelettes are among my favorites. However, I highly recommend trying their paninis ?.Vegetarian options: There are a couple vegetarian options along the menu you won’t be disappointed.“
“It's the old sage diner. Nothing has changed. It's still very outdated looking n half the staff does not speak English which makes asking for something after the waiter disappears. Food is everyday all day ordinary diner food. Its not your mom n pop diner real feel of the atmosphere was like a mill. Not even gonna talk about the price as everything is high now a days“
“I have been coming here for years atleast 15 years. I absolutely love and adore Lilly. She is who keeps me coming back. The food is iffy but her service is amazing. The owner is rude and disgruntled and doesn’t have a smile, happy bone or thank you in his body but he watches that register like a hawk. I go in once a week, get the cheers hello, greet Lilly and she just brings me my order which never changes. It’s a home away from home but if she was to ever leave so would I.“
“It has a retro design. Beautiful, classic like your transported back in time like the dinner in "Back to the future". The owner and staff are class act. Relax atmosphere the food is simply the best for any palete.Vegetarian options: You may request they will prepare a vegeterian dish.“
“During Easter Sunday the place was packed but I was lucky to get 2 seats by the booth. Waited for at least 10-15 mins to get service but offered drinks while waiting for food. The menu has so many choices but you can choose whatever you feel to eat. Mine was decent but I couldn't finish it all due to the big portion ( which is good for everyone else) $$ is great! Friendly waiter, good service.Parking: Free parking in their spot and street during the weekend but there's meterKid-friendliness: Close to schools and churches and they have kids menu“
“Ralph's is a staple of the community! Breakfast lunch and dinner every meal is delicious and the portions make sense for the price. If you want a home-cooked meal that you didn't have to make like a REAL home-cooked holiday grade meal take your butt to Ralph's “
