“Went here for dinner midweek. Food was excellent. Great apps including empanadas. The beef one was exceptional. Also had a salmon crudo app which was on special. Many specials at this place. Fish is a specialty I went with halibut which came with an awesome leek based sauce. My friend had a steak and it came with an awesome sauce too. “Gave this place a try a week ago and it was pretty good. Nothing we had was what I would call "ground breaking" but it was pretty solid for classics. The pancakes were very fluffy and fat but held good flavor too. For some reason I just had to try this places chopped cheese (my local bodega stopped selling food and switched to weed) and yea I've had better chopped cheeses but it did scratch that itch when you're craving one. They even brought out two tapas to thank us for waiting it out. I asked if we could get the group menu ( 5 tapas and two paellas) and just get two more of the tapas choices and continue from there. The server said they could do that. Instead they brought five more tapas , including once again the three tapas we originally ordered, and two new ones, then the two paellas. We were charged for the original three tapas and then the group menu as well. It was way too much food and too much money, and ruined my dining experience.“
