“I’ve loved Slices for years now. Typically go with the chicken parm sub - always enough for two meals! Tonight I tried the new PINWHEELS - I think this is a new invention of Isaac’s. Basically it’s a pizza dough roll with cheese and a pizza topping - I had one spinach pinwheel and one pepperoni. And each pinwheel comes with a generous side car of tomato sauce. The bottom of the pinwheel is really crispy - somewhat akin to a deep dish pizza. Hard to describe! Highly recommend. Chef’s kiss!”

“I happened upon this place on what must have been their busiest night of the year: a Halloween kids' block party on Warburton. They were....beyond slammed. Kids and parents packed to the gills. I had ordered online, but obviously, there was NO way my order would be ready on time. The staff? Amazing. Yes, we waited, but they were so kind and apologetic about the reality of the situation. Oh yeah: the pizza is DAMN good, too. :) Highly recommend giving your time and money to this lovely village spot because they care just as much about their customers as they do their pizza.”

“Stopped here on a whim, as I was making a delivery in the area around lunchtime. I am very glad I did. I got the cheesesteak hero and an Arizona tallboy for a sawbuck. The cheesesteak was phenomenal, served piping hot on great bread. I wish I took a pic, but, the scent enticed me into a devour trance. 10/10, I would recommend. Also, very friendly and fast service. Adding this gem to my lunch spots.”

“GREAT DELI, GREAT VIBES! We were going for breakfast, but couldn't resist the delicious smell of the hot homemade stews. We tried a plate with everything : flavor in every bite. The owner is an ex-server, and it shows : customer service is lovely. We'll be back tomorrow!”

“I don't normally bother with reviewing places but I think this place deserves one! I can't speak on the fridge dinner-prepped foods cause that's not really my thing, but the sandwiches and rice balls here are fantastic, definitely some of the best I've had in NY when it comes to quality. The place is pricey, which also is not usually my thing, but it's clear to me why the prices are higher than other places (besides the area), and reason being is the quality of ingredients and care put into the food. The recipes for everything are exactly as they should be, every flavor is dialed in very carefully and clearly this place is run by someone who knows Italian food like the back of their hand and has a genuine love for it. Their coffee and tiramisu is great too! They've won me over, and I am not impressed by much these days. Last but not least, the staff there are absolutely lovely. Every time I go in there are guys preparing it all with what seems to be a lot of detail and attention, and the lady who's always working the register when I'm there is doing a great job and is sweet.”

“The bagels are excellent, they're not trying to be anything other than a bagel shop that makes damn good bagels. If you want something fancy or where they greet you with a big fake smile and "heeeelllloooo" go to starbucks. I've been going here for as long as i can remember, local, love it, you don't like it get outta here.”
