“I think that's enough for a restaurant that is proud of its own food. I saw people walking down this street happily eating out of the window. Finally, today I am eating here, and the customers' happy faces are not just the taste of the food. The bright face and kindness of the owner and staff make me feel like I am eating at home. I ordered today's soup, garlic oil spaghetti, and French fries. Oh, no! I don't eat cilantro, but I wouldn't have cilantro in it. If it weren't for cilantro, it would be a soup like clear beef soup in Korea. Garlic spaguettes are usually. But there is an important twist here. The moment Step mixes authority green hot sauce (like jalabino and avocado) with spaghetti, the taste changes. What a clean and light spaghetti. It's so delicious. Steph was right to try it instead of Tabasco. Freshly fried French fries taste savory and delicious as if fried in clean oil. I think there will be another reasonable price and good atmosphereParking: This is a public road parking lot. This road is always crowded and it is difficult to find a free space.“

“Honestly kind of shocked at the 1 star ratings for this place. It's definitely not the greatest, but as far as airport food goes it's not so bad, and it was the only place that I could find an egg sandwich haha. Also, price wasn't that terrible for the amount they give you (again, in relation to airport food haha). 9 dollars gets you a solid egg sandwich. Although, the woman next to me had a refund given to her so I'm not sure what happened there... just relaying my experience!“

“Had a picnic with friends at Astoria park and we were craving pizza, I went online to see nearby pizza places before we arrived to go pick up and this place caught my eye. I ordered online for pickup and they gave me a 20 min wait, they prepared everything on time and called to let us know they had finished the order and to make sure if everything was okay since we were 5 minutes away when the pizza was done. The woman who gave us our order was super nice and gave us a menu in case we wanted to order anything else in the future. The interior was super vibrant as well. We enjoyed the pizza a whole lot, it was thin but not too thin, crispy as well Overall a really great pizza and will be coming back again!“

“Amazing food, drinks, and service! The birds of paradise drink was amazing if you like a little spice. They brought out bread (including gluten free bread) with a dipping sauce of olive oil, garlic paste, and peppers that was incredible. We split the caviar topped tater tots, tuna crudo, broccoli (served over yogurt, so unique and one of the best veggie dishes we’ve ever had), and the limone pasta on a gf noodle (gf noodle made in house and my non-gf friend said it was amazing pasta even among non-gf. Every bite was amazing. Top tier service. So knowledgeable about dietary needs. Cute ambiance. Can’t wait to return!Dietary restrictions: Very gluten free friendly! Can modify almost every dish. Very knowledgeable about ingredients, shared fryers, etc.“

“Their turmeric bun is insanely good. Was lucky enough to catch it right as it was fresh out of the oven and waiting to be glazed. Almost doubled back for another one it was so good (self restraint won).Delicate, flaky, caramelized crust. Fluffy, light, moist pull-apart center. I usually find glazed pastries too sweet, but this one was perfect - just sweet enough to hit the spot but not too sweet that it feels heavy. The balance of flavors is just right. Just a hint of turmeric that isn't at all overpowering.“

“Wonderful dining experience! The space is small and cozy, the cocktails delicious, and we were treated with such warmth, kindness and respect, like we were in someone’s home. This is how dining out should be. The seating can get quite tight later into the dinner hour, so try not to bring big coats or bags! They will check them for you downstairs though, if you’d like. Also get the bread with butter, it’s the most delicious butter I’ve ever tasted. No diet-just do it!“

“Come for the space, there's a lovely enclosed patio in the back! Stay for the pizza and the drinks, both of which were surprisingly good. Be warned, however, that the menu is a novella. So many options, it's approaching overwhelming. If you like Neapolitan-style pizza, you'll definitely enjoy La Lanterna's. It was the right chewiness, and the toppings and sauce were tasty. I also had one of the many available adult beverages, opting for a hard coffee. It was excellent. The cheese and pate plate was good -- the bread it came with was well seasoned and had a nice crisp. But the presentation definitely leaves something to be desired, it definitely looked like an elementary school science fair project on the plate. Overall, good food, not too pricey, and a nice patio. Solid option!“
