“I had gone to Queens Supreme Court and asked Google for a Mexican restaurant near me, which this was the spot that was recommended and was a bit over 1 mile away by driving (6 minutes or so). Amazingly delicious, I mean everything that we ordered tasted good, including the fries that came unsalted. Serviced by a young woman that was very nice. I thought I was gonna have to use my broken Spanish and didn't have to because the woman used her English and prevented my family from feeling awkward using our little bit of Spanish. Tiny little spot, I don't recommend more than a party of six but I can see this place making a bigger party fit. They take cards, street parking if your lucky and I didn't spot any high chairs for small children. I forgot to take a pic of my order and my wife's but I had the birria & quesillo - delicious. Wife had the chili relleno, she said it was good. Kids had buffalo wings + french fries and salchi papas, I for pics of these. We also split a nachos texano - good. Oh, wife had the tamarindo betidas; it was so good and refreshing.
Kid-friendliness: I didn't spot any high chairs but they were friendly with my kids.“

“Food was delicious and portion was a lot. Service was on top notch and delivery was on time. I took the pic while we were eating, it was more tacos and quesadillas but we eat it. Churros were very delicious and crunchy on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. We often order food from this restaurant so I decided to review it today. Employees are very courteous. Birria had lots of meat and full of satisfying flavors. The price was reasonable. I highly recommend.“

“I dont usually review fast food restaurants but I just had to this time. This was such a nice gesture, since my order is always vegetarian. The Taco Bell is always great with my orders and this employee had excellent customer service and is manager material!“
“We got Tostadas de Cesina, Quesadillas de Cesina and Tacos de Pollo with toppings. The presentation & taste was great, the only thing was that the food was overly salty. It was so good just couldn’t finish it. Otherwise, It’s one of the best Taco Trucks. Just giving kind feedback since we give second chances and will try the food again for a different experience. God Bless ??“

“Very vibrant atmosphere. Definitely a very Nice area to just have some Great food and definitely good. Local drinks. See the bartender Carla to take care of you. She definitely has great ways of making drinks. Even if they don’t have it on the menu. The staff behind her, who makes all the food is extremely welcoming and hospitable. Yes, it’s in Jamaican Queens. But come on now. Look aside of that. The food is great. The drinks are great and the atmosphere is Welcoming“

“Great Mole’! But that’s not all.I accidentally left me credit card at the restaurant when I paid my bill. An hour later I realized what I had done and scurried back to the restaurant. When I walked in, the waitress greeted me with a big smile, and was genuinely glad I had come back for it. Thanks! I’ll be back again soon!“

“I had tostones with carrucho and it was delicious! I got here through a recommendation and it did not disappointed! The only reason why I am giving it 4/5 is that the food it’s a little bit overpriced for the actual place… But overall really good!“

“We stumbled in after a long flight from Germany, where the Mexican food situation is charitably described as underwhelming. The woman behind the counter greeted me pleasantly. A couple with suitcases and half-empty plates canoodled at a four top. La Isla contestants mirrored on two large TVs attempted to complete an obstacle course.
"Hello," I said, "we are very hungry and in desperate need of tacos. We eat everything... except tripe. No intestines, please. Tongue, beef, pork, chicken, fish - whatever. I have been awake for 28 hours, and I have no capacity left to make a decision. You are the expert. Can you please bring us whatever is the most delicious? I trust your judgement."
The woman looked at me, a little puzzled. "How many plates?"
"Enough for two adults and a kid with a hollow leg. And... do you have Jarritos? Tamarind, maybe?"
"It's in the cooler there. You just want me to make you some plates?"
"Yes, please. I think you'll make better decisions than I will. You know what's awesome."
We grabbed the Jarritos (Tamarind, Mandarin, Pineapple) and sat down. We watched La Isla while waiting. Mouthwatering scents began to waft toward us. After a short while, the angel behind the counter approached bearing plates laden with everything that I didn't know was missing from my life.
Succulent and tender lengua, pliant steak, perfectly plump shrimp, and al pastor redolent of cumin, achiote, sizzling fat and just the right amount of char piled atop rice and wonderfully squidgy refried beans. Nopales!! Fresh green cilantro, tart lime, crisp white onion and tight rolls of steaming hot tortillas, all ready for me to shove into the mouth part of my face.
WE DEVOURED IT as locusts upon an untouched field, or perhaps just hungry travelers in search of a delicious meal. It was everything I had hoped it would be, and healed a part of my soul that I didn't realize was broken. I was grateful for every decision in my life that had led me to that moment, eating a perfect taco and swilling tamarind Jarritos with my family.“

“This is my go to spot to eat by the JFK. I work at the airport and often deal with a lot of people but when I go and eat here it is a nice easy and fast transaction. Employees are nice and helpful. They don’t rush you. Even when there are long lines. Good food portions and the Guac is free! You can’t beat that!“

“My friend called me, insisting he was at this location. He said he was at both the Pizza Hut, and the Taco Bell. I told him I was also at the combination of the two, and couldn't see him. Incredulously, we went back and forth for 3 minutes, even making sure we were both on Jamaica Avenue. So if you're meeting a friend here, just know there may be two such places on the street.“

“I come here twice a week to get my my son chicken nuggets and nacho fries after work. The staff is very clean. If they touch cash they put on new gloves before they prepare your food which I appreciate. I have been here quite a few times and they never messed up my order.“
