“My first time here and it was absolutely delicious! Everything was so fresh, flavorful and cooked perfectly. We had the vegetarian meatballs, zucchini chips, grilled chicken sticks, grilled lamb sticks and more. I loved the atmosphere. My sister is gluten free and there were so many options for her (including a separate fryer to insure no allergy). You must try this place!Dietary restrictions: They have a separate fryer for gluten free fries, etc. All their food is labeled as gluten free on the menu with so many options.“

“I ordered food for a party to take out and got excellent advice about amounts. Not too much, but plenty. And it was so good! I ordered lamb gyro, chicken souvlaki, spanakopita, grilled vegetables, falafel, lemon potatoes, and a tray of Greek salad. Everyone was so happy with the food. And the staff are so nice, and go above and beyond. This is my new favorite Greek spot. “No nonsense Greek food mostly for takeout although there are a few tables to eat in. The chicken souvlaki is good but the homemade chicken gyro is even better. They don't always have it available though. Reasonably priced and they usually prepare orders quickly. Always a good choice for Greek in Merrick or nearby towns.“

You wouldn't normally expect to have a Greek-Mexican fusion restaurant but this one is amazing! I highly recommend getting their stuffed poblano peppers (stuffed with Cauliflower as I'm vegetarian) - 11/10! They even have mocktails and I recommend the mango mule - which I absolutely loved! Will definitely be back here, but given today was Saturday, the restaurant was busy so you couldn't hear the conversation, but food and service are top notch! Also...Food Network...get here ASAP!“

“We came here for Mother’s Day dinner and it was exceptional! The food was authentic Greek food and was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh and the fish and seafood were out of this world! they have tons of different dishes to chose from. The service was amazing and our waitress was very attentive. The atmosphere, the food and the wine was tops but the service was the best. I think there was a handsome model named Christian was working that night. “The restaurant is in a low traffic area and seems to do decent with takeout. I haven't seen anyone sit down yet each time I went. Restaurant looks pretty clean and full of space. The folk working here are pretty nice. Portion sizes are either lunch or dinner size for your platters. Even the lunch size is a good size portion enough for one person. The dinner size is enough for two people. When we ordered the lunch size for gyro, we had a choice of either a salad or a soup for the first side which is separate from the gyro and there is a second side that goes along with the gyro, so you can pick one of the following fries, rice, lemon potatoes or grilled vegetables. The container is filled about 80% full with grilled pita. When we ordered the dinner size for gyro, its the same as lunch but you can pick two of the sides that go along the gyro. This is effectively filling your container all the way to the top at 100% filled with grilled pita. Recently it appears they increased this to up to three sides, but I imagine they will just reduce the portion size of each side if you pick three but would still fill the container full. The Greek salad is good and the soups we tried were also good. The gyros and chicken souvlaki were on point.“

“My wife and I have now dined in 5 different Limani locations and Limani Taverna is by far our favorite. Relative to service, cuisine, and ambience, they win hands down. From the shrimp, octopus, and eggplant appetizers to the sea bass and lamb shank, we are always satisfied. Tried the walnut cake for the first time last night, and it was perfect. The Santorini white wines remain our favorite as well. YGEIA!“

Gyro had plenty of meat (lamb) w/lettuce, tomatoes & onions. All very fresh. Husband had Falafel which he said was absolutely delicious. We had a great lunch. “I ordered the Fava, Dolmas,and a Greek salad minus feta with falafel and my boyfriend ordered the Beet Salad with grilled chicken and the spanakopita. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious and tasted super fresh. Both the quantity and quality were on point. The waitress was very kind and even checked if a few items were vegan. The restaurant AND the bathrooms were very clean, (and I love the cherry almond scented soap). “The food was excellent! Had the Fried Calamari (but you can order grilled), and the Mediterranean Octopus salad. Both were good but we all really loved the octopus! We had the Mixed Grill which consists of lamb chop, pork chop, skirt steak and chicken. menu says "serves 2" but it easily fed 4, and I don't think I'll finish what I took home in one sitting! Also had the Mixed Grill Vegetable which goes well obviously with the protein dish. Had a Greek beer and a glass of Greek red wine. Very friendly service: the bartender, greeter, our waiter, all gave good vibes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“We were a party of 11 people and the service wasn’t good. The waiters were not friendly. They gave us a very small basket of bread for a table of 11 people, and their tables are huge. I asked for another one and they took forever to bring it. I guess they don’t care because their tip is already included in the check. And I usually tip 20 to 25%, but not this time. It’s a nice place, the food is okay, but won’t be visiting again because of the service. You don’t feel welcome as soon as you come in.“

“The food is always good. The service was good but they were so overbooked and busy that they could not possibly be as excellent as they usually are. I Hate to not give them an amazing review because I am a regular and always have great service and excellent food there but last night was crazy busy. We waited a very long time to sit and we had reservations for 4 at 7:40lm. We waiting again a long time to get our food order in and then they were out of bronzino so it wasn't the same as usual. But I do highly recommend this restaurant and as I've said, I usually have an amazing overall experience there.“

“Last night I took my 95 yo dad with my family here, our Go-To Greek restaurant and as always we had another wonderful meal. The grilled octopus, coconut shrimp and the haloumi cheese were all delicious. I had the chicken santorini for the first time and it was amazing as it melted in my mouth. The food is always spot on and most of all we are treated like family. I would recommend "It's Greek to Me" without hesitation.“

“Very busy Greek to go in a small strip of stores. Employees are always moving fast behind the counter to keep everything moving. Flavorful gyros and Greek salad. Not on a par with New York Ace in Huntington for messy greasy Greek with over the top salad - Here iata more neat and freshly prepared. My best friend always picks this place and it's closer to his home. Never disappointed. Quick and efficient even on a weekend night.“
