“I'm going to start with yummy! Another fantastic restaurant in New York. Shared pear salad. omg loved so much that I tried to recreate when I got home. I absolutely loved this salad. Shared burrata as well, again, my goodness freaking delicious. For dinner, I had prime steak and mash, which was also very delicious and a fantastic price!!!“

“I want to start by saying we love Jack’s Restaurant and have been loyal customers since they first opened, it’s our go to place in town. The food and customer service are always top notch and its very family friendly. With that said, I’m actually writing this review in response to a past review. I would like to sincerely thank Shane and the entire Jack’s staff for coming to my child’s defense. I am the mother and was part of the” loud party” the reviewer was speaking of. First let me start by stating the “loud party” consisted of myself, my 7 yr old son, my mother and sister, (3 adults & 1 child), so I do not consider ourselves a “loud party”. I am very mindful of going to dinner with a child and big on respecting other customers. I try and attend family friendly restaurants, request to sit in an area that will not disturb others and when possible, go at earlier times. I am also VERY mindful of the volume on my child’s tablet. In the instance the gentleman is referring to, is the time my 7 yr old turned his Ipad on and had time to hit the volume button. My sister could tell the lady at the table next to us was upset by the initial volume, so she ensured my son made the volume extra low, so as not to further disrupt their evening. With that the woman turned to me and asked had I never heard of headphones, I responded with we noticed the volume bothered you and told my son to lower it, which he did, so let it go, she began to berate me and my son on how allowing my child to have his iPad at the table, is what’s wrong with the world today and telling me how I should raise him. With this her husband began to chime in, I told them both, they had no right to tell me how to raise my child and it was like 5:30 on a Wednesday evening, and I requested a table in the back, as to not bother other customers, to please leave us alone and they were scaring my son and if we annoyed them that much they could move, with that he stood up and began to raise he voice louder and yell that this whole situation is actually the restaurants fault for allowing children and opened his walking stick by slamming it on the ground towards us, and yelled they are leaving. With that another table with three children asked for their check and food be wrapped, as the gentleman, scared their children too. Our waitress came over, followed by Shane, enquiring what took place and could see how shaken up my son was and the children at the other table. I am sincerely thankful for Shane's response of asking the customer not to return, as they are a family friendly restaurant, and cannot have any customer, young or old, made to feel frightened or uncomfortable, and coming to our defense when being berated by two unknown adults. Shane may not have been present for the altercation (with a 7yr old) but the whole back of the restaurant was and could attest to how completely out of control and over the top this couple was and how no one has the right to reprimand or say anything to someone else’s child. As stated above, we have always loved Jack’s but that day put them in a league of their own in my eyes. Its not always you find a true and genuine person who puts the needs and security of your child before their own pockets and that’s what Shane did for us.“
“Alex and his team are always so hospitable, kind, fun and charismatic! We go to Alexs at least 3 times a week!! The food is always perfection. Great quality and portions for a great and enjoyable meal. The wines are the best! Especially the reds! We also love hanging out at the bar and eating/drinking while having great convos with the regulars. Alexs food and atmosphere make it a very fun & enjoyable time! Highly recommend!!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options upon request. On the menu they have plenty of delicious pasta dishes, beautiful salads, amazing eggplant parm, and the best soups!! “Wasn’t sure what to expect when I stopped here for a quick dinner. Is it a sports bar? Is it a bistro tavern? It kind of has a sports bar feel when you walk in but then it leads to a compact, cozy dining room. French Onion Soup was decent. Burger was very good - fries that came with it were top notch. Service was friendly and efficient. I might stop by again if I’m in the area.“

Great liquor selection as well as beer and other beverage selection they are open till 3 AM and always have great music you can play games at the bar and they have a great selection of things to eat and the kitchen is open super late as well which is really great especially after long concerts at the Capitol theater this is always a great place you don’t have to rush to get out and eat some thing. “It's Saturday afternoon, my wife and I were in the Glen Head and Sea Cliff area. We decided to have a light lunch locally. My wife had been to Gallagher's Pub in Sea Cliff the previous night with her girlfriends and thought they had great food. We walked in to a quaint Irish pub and were greeted by Marcus. He smiled and remembered my wife from the night before. We sat down and viewed the menu. Nice selection of food and drinks. We ordered some drinks. My wife had a soda and I had Smithwick beer. A good Irish ale. We decided on the French onion soup. It was served hot and was delicious! We ate and talked and some of our friends came in and visited with them. Good times. My wife was full after the soup , so she ordered some French fries. I ordered a buffalo chicken burger with onion rings. I thought I try something different the chicken burger was great and the onion rings were perfect. We enjoy our meal and visiting with our friends. Marcus gave us a tray for our leftover with a note on the cover. See the photos. It seems Marcus adds a special note to his customers. This was a nice and unexpected surprise. We enjoyed our time at Gallagher's. The wait service was excellent, the food was great and the atmosphere was friendly. I strongly recommend Gallagher's Pub. If you're in Sea Cliff on the north shore of Long Island stop by Gallagher's for a drink and some great food. Travel safe and keep healthy. All the best to you all.“
“Came here last night for some drinks and dinner, was super pleased with the experience. We got there a little early, so the place wasn't packed. The drinks were delicious! Definitely hit the spot. The Mr Dre burger was huge and delicious. The chimi was on point and really large for only $6. The only complaint is that the chicken teriyaki was a bit on the saltier side. Aside from drinks and food they also have hookah and a DJ so the place is definitely popping on a Saturday night. Worth the visit!“

“This cute and cozy wine bar has been opened for quite a while and I just decided to stop by a few weeks ago. I paired shrimp pizza with a glass of sauvignon blanc and it did not disappoint. The staff are very friendly and you'll always run into some neighborhood locals. Definitely a New Rochelle staple and you should stop by if you can. It's great for a low key date night for a cool vibe.“

“This is a little piece of HOME for me... The basic house salad is actually my favorite item on the menu... It's the secret house dressing for me!!!! I would put it on everything, if they sold it.... So to keep it real, I come for a plate of wings, a salad, & a slice of river bottom pie! If you know you know!!!! BOMB!“
