“Pizza was delicious. This was my first time trying this location in the many times that I’ve been here visiting or even living. The sesame seed pizza crust is amazing. The pizza was soft, yet crispy and overall just delicious. Cheesy, saucy and everything. Chicken roll was also really good along with the sausage and pepper roll. I wasn’t such a fan of the personal pizza, but it was alright. I can’t say enough good things about the pizza though. Maybe it’s because I’ve been craving New York pizza, but it was amazing!“
“I love this place . They make the delicious pizza ever and also I recommend to try the pasta they have taste good . The owner Luis is very friendly :). It doesn’t matter if they change the owner the think is they still making good and delicious food . Thank you . I will come back again.“
“Great Italian food and a decent menu, not much choice but not too much. It's located next to Post Office 34 and is very trendy. The view and service are great, but it's noisy as there isn't much to absorb the sound. We ordered focaccia, roasted peppers and pasta. Everything is great and super fresh.“
“Great place.. Amazing dishes and desserts. Amazing staff and host. Will definitely be back. —— If I had one con, it would be the speaker volume. It really needs to be at an appropriate dinner volume in that you can have a discussion with that people at your table and not shout. We asked twice for it to be lowered. But I’m unsure it was ever adjusted. Loud club-music volume while dining is just unnecessary.“
“been told by many their vegan slice is one of the best in the city. it was good, not the best I’ve had but certainly far from the worst. like a slice I’d enjoy if I am in the neighborhood, but not one I’d seek out if I’m closer to another spot yknow? kind of plain and a little flavorless but the crust was delicious lol. nice atmosphere inside“
“This is the best pizza I have ever had, nice crisp, light crust with just the right amount of toppings, no grease at all. I live in CT and thought no pizza was better than our New Haven ones, boy was I wrong!!! Looking forward to returning……soon!“
“It is very good but not worth going out of your way to obtain. Worth trying once if possible. We drove from Jersey, paid the toll, and waited 40 minutes for a margherita pie. We ate two slices freshly served, and they had a nice crispy bottom and balance of sauce. It was lacking a bit of salt for me. We ate another microwaved slice at home, and it tasted no different than any other Jersey pizza. Please note it takes at least 40 minutes to prepare from the time of placing a takeout order.“
“When we came we thought that it is going to be like many other good Neapolitan pizzas but it was simply THE BEST. Very nice environment and great service. The pizzas were so good and delicious so do the desserts. The many attempts we did for getting a reservation were completely worth it. Highly recommended!“
“A very good Italian address! Thin and delicious pizzas, be careful they are very large, in the photos they are the small ones! Possibility of having a half & half pizza: one recipe on one half, and a second on the other. Very friendly service. Booking is recommended !Vegetarian options: Lots of meatless pizzas“
“Went there with a bunch of old time friends, the atmosphere there is great, the service was awesome, will definitely be going back, the food was off the hook!Vegetarian options: There's vegetables on the menu what else can I sayParking: It was 6:30 p.m. Tuesday evening I pulled up got a spot right in front, done“
“Was looking for a quality pizza place with a nice sit down experience, and a friend recommended John's. Delivered on every level. The dining room has efficient little booths crammed into a space full of old graffiti and celebrity photos. The soundtrack is Stevie Wonder and Ella Fitzgerald, both welcome. (Didn't have any wait at 11:30am.) And the pizza! Our large pie showed up in what felt like 5 min, and it was fantastic. The amazing sauce was clearly made in house -- a far cry from the crappy canned sauce so many places use. Ample cheese and a crisp, delicious crust made every part of it fantastic. Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommended.“
“One of my favorite pizza spots in Brooklyn. They are known for their Detroit style square pies. Excellent soft dough with delicious sauce & cheese. The inside is very electric & creatively put together. My first Detroit style pizza experience & I loved it.Parking: Paid street parking available outside but can be a bit difficult to find an available spot.“
“Joe's is very good pizza. It has become too much of a tourist spot, I am not going to wait in line for an hour to get a slice. There are many other very good pizza places. I usually go for an early lunch 11:30a you can typically get in and out easily during this time.“
“Also packed with a line outside the door for late lunch - but the interior is spacious with also outdoor seating! We got the Hell Boy and Mutz, which was a lot flavorful than a typical white pie with a great oomph from the garlic. We've tried the Hell Boy slice at MSG but getting it fresh and hot here is best - the sesame dough crunch is unreal!“
“we thoroughly enjoyed eating here! we were a group of 30 and they seated us in their outdoor patio. the owner pointed out which items on the menu are halal and was so accommodating for our group! the entire experience was smooth. service was fast and they were so friendly. i’m going to be a regular here!!!“
“Came to L'incontro for a casual lunch on a Saturday around 2p. Did not have a reservation and was immediately seated. I gotta say, the service was excellent! Many waiters were serving us and they were constantly checking if we needed something. They were refilling out waters all the time and it was just very polite. What was interesting is the "daily special menu", the waiter was standing their reading about the daily special for like at least 5 mins and we had to stop him from continuing. Either way, we got the bucatini cacio e pepe and it was very yummy. My husband got the veal and it was not the most photogenic dish, but tasted much better than it looked. We also got the octopus, which was soaked in balsamic, also very nice. Overall a very nice traditional Italian place.“
“So happy with this restaurant! The dishes were plated in such delicate and detailed way, perfect for get you ready to get into all the flavors. The Grandma-style pizza is a must! And arrive just in time! Also it’s such a great place with an amazing staff and the perfect ambiance; the brunch bartender suggested the best cocktails keep in mind my preferences about liquor.Definetly Loring Place continue show dishes full of flavor, color and an open invitation to come back for more.“
“This is my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC. And they have the best pizza in the city in my opinion. I’m Italian and it’s very hard to find true Italian pizza!! But you can definitely find it at Aromi. You can also chat with the owners and the staff, they are really kind and the service is awesome. Also they have real delicious mascarpone and every time I ate that I wanted to cry because it reminds me of Italy! Really recommended!“
“probably the best pizza in new york city. the food was great, we tried 3 different options (and yes, we exchanged slices), they were all to die for. we ordered the spinaci salad and it was the best salad i’ve ever had. note: one salad is not enough to share since it is so good.“
“I was up and down about buying this pizza because of the cost...HOWEVER, I thought I'd give it a try. It arrived today...Man. REAL PIZZA after 20 years of being GF. It was delicious! I've order online frozen items (cookies, pizza, apps etc) before and this was, by far, the best delivery result. Frozen solid, minimal waste and even the GF taramisu I was nervous about experienced no thawing. It was supposed to be for someone else but oops, so good my taste testing went a bit too far. What taramisu?? :) I ordered 3 GF pizzas and have only tried the sausage and mushroom so far. The crust edge was crispy on the outside and soft in the middle while the pizza itself cooked up nicely. I like mine a bit well done and even doing so, the toppings didn't burn. My ONLY complaint was it needed a bit more sauce for my personally liking and because it was fresh and tasty, I wanted more. Maybe a side to dip my crust in?? What? Yes. Great job Kreste!“
“Come for the space, there's a lovely enclosed patio in the back! Stay for the pizza and the drinks, both of which were surprisingly good. Be warned, however, that the menu is a novella. So many options, it's approaching overwhelming. If you like Neapolitan-style pizza, you'll definitely enjoy La Lanterna's. It was the right chewiness, and the toppings and sauce were tasty. I also had one of the many available adult beverages, opting for a hard coffee. It was excellent. The cheese and pate plate was good -- the bread it came with was well seasoned and had a nice crisp. But the presentation definitely leaves something to be desired, it definitely looked like an elementary school science fair project on the plate. Overall, good food, not too pricey, and a nice patio. Solid option!“
“Note: Review based on Pizza making class/experience.The atmosphere is so intimate and cozy. All pizzas are made in a wood fire oven. Chef Salvatore is passionate about his pizzas and loves to help the people in the class. We had a great experience. The ingredients were great and easy to handle. Don’t need any level of cooking experience to do the class. You get appetizers (salad + meatballs), followed by pizza and marshmallow Nutella dessert pizza. You mainly just roll out your dough and put toppings on. More of a date activity than a cooking class, loved it and will be back to try pizzas made by the chef.“
“After a breathtaking view of New York from Rockefeller Center, hunger spontaneously drove us straight to Ace's.Without looking for long, we spontaneously decided to eat there. The furnishings in the style of the 80s and 90s appealed to us, and the ever-popular ALF was playing on a tube television.David, who served us, was incredibly personable and warm. At the end of our visit he even became my hero. The pizzas you get here are authentic and vary in dough and are prepared in a pan.We ordered the Hot Burrata, Vodka Meatball and the Buffalo Pizza. And we can say they were simply divine. Crispy, fluffy, juicy and tasty. This Detroit-style pizza blew us away, even as Neapolitans. Our favorite was definitely the Hot Burrata.A little tip: Order the small pan pizzas in different varieties, David will certainly give you good advice.Thank you again, David, for your hospitality and for bringing me my forgotten backpack (my hero). The fact that you found us in the crowd was nothing short of a miracle. In conclusion, if you're in New York, treat yourself to this pizza at Ace's. We will definitely do it again when we visit New York. Until then, we wish you all the best and keep it up!!“
“Food was so authentic and delicious! Service was great! A HUGE thank you to Brisa, our server! She was amazing, so so amiable and attentive! The other wait staff was so attentive as well, making sure our drinks were always filled! We had the Bucatini Alla Carbonara and Rigatoni Spicy Vodka..we highly recommend!!! And let’s not forget the Espresso Martini and Lemon Drop Martini!“
“My daughter suggests the fettucini alfredo. "It's super creamy and cheesy."The service and attention are top notch. They make you feel like an Italian cousin in town to visit! Warm and welcoming and delicious food. The homemade pasta was so fresh. We made a special trip from midtown just for lunch and it was worth it!Kid-friendliness: They were just lovely to our nine year old.“
“Had to do some Easter shopping so hot this place up . Been wanting to come here. Really cute place when you walk in its like being in a bistro in Italy . Started with clams Orengenata they were so fresh with a creamy lemon sauce . I had Veal Scaloppini with prosciutto and grilled zucchini and fontina cheese. Omg brown sauce was so good. Veal mostly tender. One piece was little chewy. We also ordered the ravioli special. They were stuffed with artichoke and cheese. Really flavorful and cooked perfectly. Prices very reasonable for the quality ingredients. Waitstaff top notch. Parking is annoying Cant wait to come back.“
“This place deserves more attention! I honestly found this spot on a whim omw back home but despite ordering takeout, the service and quality was great. Super friendly server/host and will definitely be back to dine-in. I got the 8” half bulgogi/half potato ? was v tasty and fresh. Everyone please go support this place! Thanks for the pear drink :D ?“
“The bar is nice, good area of town, the host and everyone working there was cool. The pizza was just fine. Eaten better.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator to get to the bathroom downstairs. It's a little crowded in the restaurant.“
“We stopped by Roberta's for dinner after a comedy show. It was pouring out but Roberta's was packed and required a bit of a wait. We were seated in the back area where there was ample seating. We ordered: + Stracciatella: we attacked this appetizer once it came to our table. This dish came with two slices of bread which was enough for the big blob of cheese. + Marinated Olives: these were delicious and were fun to eat with our drinks + Little Gem Salad: this salad was refreshing, crunchy, and delicious. + Margherita Pizza: a basic margherita pizza done well. The crusts were also divulged (that's when you can tell the pizza is good). +Ice Cream Sandwich: we ended our dessert with their recommended sticky bun and ice cream dish. This was delicious and well worth the try. They tried to market it as a cinnamon roll but it is definitely much better than that. The staff was fun. They came by often to check on us but let us alone to chill for as long a we wanted. Cheers.“
“i ordered their prosciutto and burrata (which comes with imported burrata and 24 Month prosciutto di parma), tonnarelli cacio e pepe (pasta with pecorino and black pepper), and infernetto pinsa (roman style pizza with tomato, mozzarella, spicy soppressata, and pecorino). all in all, every dish was made with fine ingredients and was cooked well. the burrata was very creamy and delicious, i would recommend it if you’re a fan of burrata cheese. the pizza had a good coal fire taste to it and came out hot and flavorful (the spicy soppressata was tasty, but i would like to try some of their other flavors eventually). the cacio e pepe was tasty and had a strong pecorino flavor (creamy, rich, slight cheesy musk to it). the pasta had good texture and mouthfeel (firm al dente noodles). all in all a decent spot for italian!“
“The pizza is first & foremost amazing! Im not a pizza kinda person but i could have their pizza everyday for sure, not even trying to exaggerate. My favorite is a bit basic, margarita/plain slice but they make it better than any other pizzeria ive had in NY?“
“FOOD- Freshly baked dough and rich tomato sauce, the crust, perfectly crisp on the outside yet delightfully chewy inside. Each bite bursts with flavor. The cheese stretches tantalizingly with freshness. An experience that captures the essence of New York's culinary heritage.PRICE - very reasonable.LOCATION -many surrounding shop.ATMOSPHERE- cozy, friendly staffs and clean!“
“My first time dining here and it was a 10/10 experience, my friends and I were elated!! Food was served hot and fresh, large portions and friendly service — it was amazing! We sat in the outdoor sitting area, it was so great watching people come and go as we enjoyed our meals and chatted. I got the Chicken Parm, it was soo huge and filling. I highly recommend coming here — I look forward to visiting again!Kid-friendliness: Saw some families coming in and dining which was pretty sweet to see!“
“What a great place. I went here spontaneously for my birthday because a friend suggested it. It was totally worth it.We started with the Antipasto plate, then went to the vegan pasta bollente pizza, what I didn't realize at the time came with a pretty spice chilli, and finish with a bread pudding slice. We also had a couple of cocktails, which made the bill a little pricey, but if you didn't have drinks, it would be pretty affordable. The Antipasto plate was a great addition to the meal. The meats were scrumptious and the accoutrements added exactly what you would want for a antipasto plate. $24The Patata bellente was really good but if you don't like spicy food, steer clear of this one. I thought the potatoes would help subside the spice, but it was still very spicy. If you like spice this is the one for you. $18I can't remember what the bread pudding cost or even seeing it on the menu, but it was outstanding!!! Not to sweet, not too bready, it was just a bit of joy with every bite.Id definitely come back, and not just for a special occasion.“
“This is such a gem in little italy. Its not tacky or stereotypical it has a wonderful atmosphere and a unique feel. We had a table outside but it was a little too cold, so the hostess gladly made accommodations for us to move inside which worked out perfectly. The menu is a perfect balance of classic and new. And the food never disappoints! The sizes are perfect for sharing as well. Come for a pizza, a pasta and a bottle of wine and you wont break the bank! If you're in little italy this is a must!“
“Gorgeous space, food was amazing. Would definitely come back to try more items off the menu. This time, I had the opportunity to try the hot mess with prosciutto on top. It was delicious. Went at an odd time between 2-3 so place was very quiet. However, it you can do not miss out if you are in the area and try this place out.“
“food was really good but I didn't like the way they treated this man standing outside in the rain. they treated him like he was trash and he didn't even do anything wrong. food was excellent but they need to treat all customers the same. treat the tourists the same as the homebodies!!!!“
“Stopped by last night and had a great experience. We made a reservation via Resy and were seated right away. We loved the ambiance. It gave such an intimate, close knit setting. The music is so cool and trendy - goes along well with the vibe. The menu is straight to the point with amazing options. We ordered the Caesar salad, VCR pizza, espresso pot de creme dessert and a cocktail. First of all, my cocktail (Night Rally) is soooo delish!! The Caesar salad is an extreme 10/10. I absolutely loved it! The VCR pizza… another 10/10! The sauce and pepperoni and a bit spicy for those who are sensitive to spice. Nonetheless it was phenomenal. The dessert was such a pleasant, light surprise! I asked if they have an affogato and the substitute was such a relief! We loved it. Just one downside with one of the employees there - she wasn’t too friendly. Good thing she wasn’t our server. Either way, I absolutely would return in a heartbeat!!“
“Great place to enjoy a delicious pizza. I’m super picky when it comes to food. I must say that this place exceeded my expectations.FRIED CALAMARI was amazing and IMPOSSIBLE CHICKEN was super crunchy and tasty. Now the CHIMI CHICKEN PIZZA was the BEST pizza I ever had in a long time. Service let by JUNIOR made me feel welcomed… Great place ??“
“We had an excellent experience at Marcellino. The meatballs were fantastic. The mozzarella appetizer was one of our favorites. I especially loved the raspberry blossom drink. We had no problem making a reservation and the service was excellent.“
“Sitting at Diego’s bar made me a better wife, mother, daughter, and person. He brought me back to life and shared his passion for New York, making me excited about waking up tomorrow. If Sofia’s does not give Diego a significant raise, they will be doing themselves a disservice. Diego is the reason for Sofia’s. He is the light. Go to Sofia’s for Diego… And the orecchiette di salmone. Sofia’s is lucky to have him.“
“It's been a minute since my visit but it's recall a nice atmosphere, great service and tasty food. It was pretty hot inside (winter, heat) and we were seated at a community like table but with friendly folks who gave their vegan dining advice for the area!“
“The Best Pizza in NYC! - If you want the best pizza in NYC you have to go to Pop's Pizza. I'm a native New Yorker of 50 years and Pop's Pizza is my favorite pizza in NYC. They make a perfect slice... thin crispy crust with fresh sauce, toppings and ingredients. If you like garlic, you have to try the Margarita but no matter what you order every slice is amazing and the owners are fantastic. ?“
“The characteristic feature is that the very thin dough is baked in an oven to give it a crispy feel. Rather than the sauce and toppings being delicious, the pizza has a delicious crispy texture. It wasn't big enough to fit all on the plate, but it was enough to eat two pieces. There is no place to sit and eat, so you could eat standing at a booth set up outside, but you have to be careful of young people begging.“
“Food, drinks, and service were incredible! My husband and I stumbled on this place on a date night in NYC, and it was absolutely perfect for a date night! The only thing is the restaurant is tiny tiny so don't think about having a large dinner party, but for a more intimate dinner or lunch, I would highly recommend it! The burrata was our absolute favorite dish! 10/10 recommend!“
“Solid spot for a slice or two of pizza. A little limited in options, but still delicious for the classic options. Plus their hot honey hits just right. Some limited seating in the back but the turnover is decent. Service was quick and brought it out to the table.“
“Razza in Jersey City is not just a pizza place--it's a culinary experience that will transport you straight to pizza paradise! As a devoted pizza enthusiast, I can confidently say that Razza serves some of the best Neapolitan-style pizzas I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with the enticing aroma of wood-fired perfection. The ambiance is cozy yet chic, making it the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner. Now, let's talk about the star of the show--the pizza! Each pie at Razza is a work of art, with a thin, chewy crust that's charred to perfection and topped with the freshest ingredients imaginable. Whether you opt for a classic Margherita or one of their inventive seasonal creations, you're in for a flavor explosion that will leave you craving more. But Razza isn't just about the pizza. Their appetizers and salads are equally delightful, showcasing locally sourced ingredients and expert craftsmanship. And don't even get me started on their desserts--I'm still dreaming about the tiramisu! The service at Razza is top-notch, with friendly staff who are passionate about their craft and eager to make your dining experience unforgettable. In summary, if you're a pizza aficionado or just someone who appreciates good food, Razza is a must-visit. Five stars all the way for their dedication to quality, flavor, and overall dining excellence. Bravo, Razza!“
“I went with my family to celebrate my 32nd birthday. The food was 10/10 andres, our waiter was super kind to us. The appetizers were super delicious. When the main course arrived, Andrés recommended that we combine my steak with a wine that was spectacular. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again and again.“
“Went there with my friend today. Hands down, best pizza I have had in Astoria. Order Marinara sauce on the side, trust me. Service was as good as the pizza, ladies inside were really nice. Highly recommend this place if you are a pizza lover like I am. I’ll be back for sure!“
“Rosa's Pizza, in Maspeth Queens New York is my go to pizza spot for years. I've been eating it like forever and it traveled very well from my time living in Jersey to now in Delaware. If Delaware had a pizza spot like this down here they would kill it. The Sicilian is soft and the crust on the bottom has a great sear. Their thing is that the cheese goes on before their sauce and their sauce is so good. The best thing is that it freezes great and reheats like it was freshly made. ( I use a toaster oven to reheat and it comes out perfect). When I go to Queens I always bring a pie back with me and also make a stop at Iavarone Brothers (Pork Store), 69th street.“
