“I had a huge craving for taro boba and around me there’s only really Thai iced tea. Quick little search and it led me to this cute cozy hole in a wall. I called ahead to make my drink as I was heading there. Ray was more than willing and able to do so. Such a great sport and great energy all around. Great service and he made my taro exactly how I like it: not too sweet. They have mango potions for milk which I loved, it’s not just milk powder like other Thai places do for their teas. “One of the workers gave me an extremely hard time about the dips that were included in my meal. I hadn’t ordered the food but someone else did so I only had a screenshot of part of the receipt. She said I needed the full receipt to confirm that I had multiple dips. Then after telling her I searched the entire bag, in a rude voice she said I had to bring the bag in to prove that there were no dips, as if I was lying. Then she put two dips in the bag, and then shoved the bag towards me. I told her I needed 4 more and she started laughing saying they were coming. “I came here after claiming my free bubble tea from one of Yelp's events since I was in the area. I visited the LIC Lunar New Year events website and saw that this spot had a sampler special. I took a chance on it. After disputing with staff and management that the deal on the website ends at the end of the month, they had adjusted their online menus to provide the sampler option to order. I did get the sampler without having to spend extra. Portions were generous and fresh. I ate half and took the other half home for the family. The ambiance was designed for locals living in the area, not so much for outsiders like me. I saw that Kuku has other locations, so I may check those out.“

“Always order for delivery and the food is great! I wonder how good it is in the store. We get the smash burgers which are filled with onions, jalapeños, and house sauce. The bun is a brioche bun that's buttered. We also ordered k-wings which aren't as big as other Korean wing spots but the sauce is on point and IMO the perfect size. Our order came with the twist bread to try we opted for cinnamon sugar. It is a mochi donut super chewy and delicious!“

“Very convenient location and fast service. The older gentleman at the counter taking our orders was super nice which helped us be patient while he struggled to put in our orders. The food was fantastic all around, I have absolutely zero complaints. It smelled so good in there (air freshener) I couldn't even smell the food cooking which made me nervous but I had nothing to worry about because it ended up being great. I especially loved the cinnamon on the grilled pineapple. The rice bowl was well balanced and seasoned to perfection. I could continue to rave about this place but you can just try it for yourself. P.S my friend said her left overs of the rice bowl was a bit greasy so I recommend eating everything fresh although that may be hard because it's a hefty serving of food.“
