“I went to outbacks for the steak special on 3/23 that I seen on TV for $14 baked potatoes salad or soup & cheese cake the server said not here its 19$ then also I didn't know the restaurant offered a senior discount I just saw it on my phone to give my review why is the special only in certain cutbacks? That's mis-¹ representation the proce should be the same in all Outback Restaurants im 80 years old and I should of been aware in the restaurant of a senior discount by the way I enjoyed the dinner”

We chatted about the history of this type of venue in Middletown and how to survive. He gets it. While chatting, his head was on a swivel, watching his guests and crew. Rob spoke so highly about his crew, you would think they were family. I am so glad I went and enjoyed the family atmosphere. Well done team!!”

“As someone grew up in Taiwan I can say this Taiwanese restaurant/ cafe brought back a lot of my great childhood memories in Taiwan. The beef noodle soup here is great. The boba tea here is phenomenal. The hand made pineapple cake is one of the best pineapple cakes I have ever had. It’s for real that good. This coming from someone that has been eating pineapple cakes growing up.
I can’t believe there is an amazing place like this hidden In Middletown, New York. What a hidden gem!!! If you are in Middletown, New York you should definitely check out this place.”

Wait staff went above and beyond to accommodate us for a special evening of family and friends. I provided a small gift for my grandson and they did an amazing job of telling him how Santa Claus heard he was such a good boy and left it there for him. We were lucky to have such an experienced waiter that made our evening so memorable for our grandson..I felt prices were very good, food was awesome and served in a timely manner. It’s not easy serving so many people at once food and drinks. Everyone enjoyed their meal and desert. Certainly looking forward to going back!!! If I could leave more than 5 Stars I would!”

“Ordered for pick up & when I got there, 2 customers were waiting at the p/u area and 2 were waiting to order. So not crazy busy for a Sunday morning at 10:30. Customers ordering at the register were waited on promptly. The other couple and I were not even acknowledged. Other to go orders were packed up and while there were 3 people we could tell were working up front only 1 stayed up front to pack another order- while the 3 of us were still standing there waiting for our orders which were sitting on the back counter, ready. Not on the pick up counter. It took me speaking up to even be noticed. Surely enough that was my order that had been sitting there the whole time. And finally the other couple got theirs as well. Please acknowledged when someone is standing there, on either side. Kindly tell the other person you'll be with them shortly. Then everyone feels seen and their food doesn't get cold while hanging out unable to be picked up.

Also, unless you're across the street and able to see the awning, it's not really easy to see your shop. No signage on the front door if coming from New Middletown direction on the same side of the street.”

“This cafe offers a variety of hot tea, cold teas, boba tea, lattes and coffees. It’s clean, modern, and cozy inside. You can place your order using a kiosk system, allowing you to browse through selections and choose your own custom drink. They had seasonal drinks for Fall like pumpkin and chai flavors. I saw a couple people on their laptops , perhaps working. I did not happen to see WiFi. But maybe I overlooked it or the staff may have the info for that. The drinks were prepared deliciously and served in to-go cups. I was hoping for a mug, and also some small pastry to pair with our drinks but they did not have any. But those are small details. The to-go cup did allow my girlfriend and I to take our drinks and stroll around North Street to enjoy the sunshine. We would definitely go back!”

Looking up food delivery in that area and found Taco Factory...ordered street tacos and they were as good as I've ever had...delivered to me hot, fresh and awsome...the owner took my order and delivered to me. “Our family was looking last minute for a place to have a family dinner to celebrate our daughter’s ninth birthday after our original reservation fell through at another place. Pelligrinos is our favorite pizza spot so I called them. It was 5:30PM on a Friday night and I asked if they could accommodate our party of nine at 7:00. They were happy to prepare a table for us! I was shocked. They brought us the most incredible plate antipasto and placed it in front of our daughter and said happy birthday! Then we have the most delicious apps, pizza and an incredible pasta special for dinner. We couldn’t have been happier! They then brought complimentary fried dough for dessert for the table! What an incredible experience! We were so grateful that they not only came to our rescue at that late hour, but they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night. If you want a five star experience with both food and service, go to Pelligrinos!”

Took half of mine home so I could have a piece of their sour cream coffee cake (the best!). With all that said, the icing on the cake was the server, Shanelle. “There is literally nothing bad that can be said about Ruben Jrs. Their tacos are amazing, simple, inexpensive and loaded. I have been to other taco spots around the mid Hudson area and by far Rubens is my favorite. My gf and I plan on going there for our 1 yr anniversary. Sounds crazy if you've ever been in the place, cuz it's literally a few shelves of product, a long counter for dine in and usually pretty hot, but those tacos ... Best in southern NY, if you ask me. Rubens has been featured on our Facebook and Instagram stories more times than I can count.

I have been getting tacos from them for the past 7 or so years, and plan on continuing that as long as I possibly can.

They are cash only, but have an ATM on site, and if that one's down there is one next door.”

But the biggest issue is the owner Amber herself, she recently bought garage next door, so I brought my car to get an oil change and my car then started stalling, I went back to talk to the mechanic that worked on it for more information and she interrupted her own employee speaking loudly almost screaming over the mechanic. She was giving me her diagnosis. Even though she's not a mechanic and didn't work on my car. "I asked her if she had worked on my car" and that set her off, she started screaming nonsense, claiming that "I was giving her a look" and also said " I better not give her that look again" She's very aggressive. Worst customer service I have ever seen by a business owner. I highly don't recommend this place because the food is bad and the car service isn't up to standards. My car was damaged under their care and instead of trying to make it right she gets defensive and aggressive. So I am taking this issue to small claims court to solve this matter. But as warning to anyone else don't bring your vehicle to this mechanic.”

“I had been getting tired of the same American food all the time. Allan's has so many healthy and diverse Mediterranean choices. I love that the vegetables in the salads are very fresh.”

“If you want authentic Szechuan style that's the place to be. Today was our third time there and so far we are very pleased with the quality. We ordered cumin beef, shredded pork with green hot pepper and a tofu and pork belly dish. They are all very tasty with distinct layers of flavors that blend so well.
