“Korean food at it’s best.Fried rice with steak was top, endives salad with Korean pears and nuts was just amazing. The chicken wings is a must if you happen to go!!Service amazing, fast and attentive at all times.Looking forward to go back and try the famous Pork Shank!!“
“Been here 4 times. I declare take 31 to be the top one on my list of Korean food in New York! The creamy udon pasta is super delicious and is my favorite dish. The creamy sauce is very rich and you won’t get tired of it even if you eat the whole plate. We have tried all three kinds of rice balls, and our favorite is the tuna fish rice ball. The 5 big pieces are full of sincerity and are so satisfying when paired with refreshing kimchi; the honey fried chicken has a sweet coating, and the mustard sauce it comes with is even more remarkable, retaining the mustard flavor without being spicy; the yogurt-flavored Rice wine has more flavor than banana flavor! It’s especially cool; the pork neck meat will be a little fatty; the corn tortillas have caramel adhering to the corn kernels, which are sweet and crispy, especially delicious! !“
“Everything about this place was great. We did brunch. We were late but they were very accommodating even with a packed house. Bottomless drinks was great. They were constantly refilling our glasses and we were able to make the most out of it. Food was delicious too. Pancake burger was a must try. Will go back again.“
“It was a day from hell and I took my daughter with me to happy hour for dinner. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Our waiter was one of the kindest people I've met and the whole staff was amazing. The food was delicious and the drink specials were more than fair!! Everything was top notch and the vibe was fun and relaxing. I recommend this place 100%!! I can't wait to go back and try brunch there. We checked out the menu and it looks amazing!!“
“Food, drinks, and service were incredible! My husband and I stumbled on this place on a date night in NYC, and it was absolutely perfect for a date night! The only thing is the restaurant is tiny tiny so don't think about having a large dinner party, but for a more intimate dinner or lunch, I would highly recommend it! The burrata was our absolute favorite dish! 10/10 recommend!“
“Amazing place, combining Korean and NYC cuisine. We stayed in a hotel close by and found the place on our Google research.Reservation migjt be a good idea for next time. But even without we came at the right time and could stay for an amazing dinner. The burger is one of the best (would put it in my top 3) we had anywhere. The chopped cheese Korean rice cakes are a must and make you smile, so good are they.Great cocktails and amazing service from everyone. Will be back!“
“It was a brisk day and we were offered outside- which we took rather than wait. I am not sure I would have been comfortable with all of the taxidermy. Sort of creepy- vegetarians, beware. Our server was the right amount of attention.Food- tasty- squash toast. Fun sort of asian? Flavor- maybe too much mint [I had to remove half of it- there was a LOT]. Side of bacon to share$35 each- coffee, squash toast, 1/2 bacon. COST- NYC PRICES.Coffee- sour- didn't finish even half....booooooooo!Sort of sunday out fancy.“
“The food was delicious!! I recommend everyone to get the half soy half spicy drumsticks. Played great music all night even had a little tv where you can see video of whichever song is currently play and I thought that was a nice touch. Has a beautiful rustic decor with lots of records/albums around. The staff were great and super friendly. Would definitely go back“
“Liked this cozy Bar on St. Marks. Chill atmosphere. Jameson was a little more expensive than some places I've been. I didn't try the food. Service was good. It was pretty quiet for a Saturday afternoon, which works fine for me.“
“Came for "girl dinner" and was so happy with this choice. Staff were very friendly, drinks were served promptly for a Friday night and the food was delicious and portion size was more than enough, especially for tapas. Will be back next time I'm in Midtown!“
“I was a regular at Pete's in the 1980's. A young family and a move to the suburbs turned me into a less frequent but loyal visitor for decades. A move to North Carolina and the pandemic had me away for five years. But, I returned again in 2023 and the magic of Pete's was truly the same as it ever was. Every employee seems to understand their role in making Pete's feel like home to every guest. Congratulations on your continuing success.“
“Cooper's Tavern is a cozy gem with fantastic service and delicious wings that hit the spot! Plus, their happy hour adds an extra layer of joy to the experience. Prices have gone up, as most places, but the deals are still great. Great for groups or going solo.“
“Nestled between Koreatown and FlatIron, just a stone's throw north of bustling Washington Square Park, you'll find a hidden treasure to locals - the John Doe gastropub. Stepping into John Doe sets the stage for an intimate yet lively experience that rivals any in New York City. With its friendly staff greeting you like an old friend, it's no wonder this spot feels like home from the moment you walk in. But don't let the snug ambiance fool you - John Doe is where the party's at, regardless of the time or season. There's an undeniable energy that permeates the air, a vibrant buzz that's both infectious and comforting. Whether you're here for a midday lunch or a late-night snack, the atmosphere is always charged with good vibes. The happy hour at John Doe is nothing short of legendary - 11 AM to 8 PM! It's a marathon that offers unbeatable deals for the weary traveler or the city regular looking to unwind. And let's talk about the oysters - they're fresh, and served up at the irresistible price of a dollar each, every single day. In a city that never sleeps, where choices abound, John Doe gastropub is a haven for those in the know. Whether you're a local or just passing through, John Doe is the no-brainer choice for a friendly and solid spot to kick back and recharge. Don't miss out on this quintessential New York experience!“
“I couldn’t wait to leave a review!!! From the food service and atmosphere, this place was a 10/10 spot to go to!!! Music was on point and my food was delicious. I’d come back here every time I visit New York!!! My favorite was the Thai chilli siracha wings. If you’re a spice/hot water, GET THEM.“
“The Warren is a solid neighborhood place. The food is good: we tried the steak tartare and burrata to start - both were delicious. The server kept trying to clear them when there was still a lot of food on both plates and that continued throughout the night. The burger with Roquefort was outstanding! Every bite was fantastic and full of flavor. The pan roasted striped bass was good but it was overshadowed by the off the charts burger. I look forward to going back.“
“Came here on a Sunday early afternoon after searching for a place to have a quick brunch without the hassle of driving in circles looking for a parking. I entered and was immediately greeted by the hostess and decided to sir at the bar. There was a decent amount of people there but it was not crowded.Once seated, I was provided water, menu and utensils. I ordered the hangover sandwich with was a BLT woth.sunny side eggs and avocado. It was yummy and very filling. It cane it fries but the fries were a rad bit overcooked and some were burnt. I also had a Pina mule and ur was really good. Overall a good spot for a quick brunch.“
“Hands down! Great staff, great atmosphere, great food! The menu selections are outstanding and the taste of all the food we tried was unbelievable. I'm still dreaming of the Fried Dumpling. Succulent, tasty flavors, and holds together.“
“While I didn’t eat here, the food looked solid. Having said that the place is perfect. Atmosphere is authentic and original….service matched ambiance. The urinals should be the standard, unfortunately in many cases design and materials have gotten worse over time. Booths are perfect too…“
“I had an amazing time at Ten Degrees. It was my first time at the bar and I went with my book club. We booked the big back room which because we have 12-20 people in the group. Tyler, our server, was great. The cucumber gin gimlets were excellent, their happy hour deal was awesome (2 for 1 as long as you order your first drink before 8). I had their pita and hummus, absolutely delicious. Afterward, I ended up meeting Aaron, the owner of the bar and he was so kind and friendly and wanted to know if their was anything else he could do for the group, like a specialty cocktail or food for next time. It was a great night and would recommend to anyone.“
“Decent bar, with a cool but chilled vibe. Not too busy and the food was great. We tried the wings and pancakes, which were both great with the wings being a bit too spicy but that was probably what Korean food was about. We did not do karaoke but overall it was worth the “
“We are never disappointed when we stop here when we visit NYC. Atmosphere and food is always fantastic and they make killer Manhattans. We just went for the 2023 Rockefeller tree and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. so happy they were decorated for the holidays. 100% go to in our opinion.“
“This place is the best. Great vibes, great drinks, cool people. Delirium on draft is amazing. Get the pretzel with beer cheese and pub mustard. Legit neighborhood pub with husband and wife owners. I went during happy hour and it was $2 off all drinks. I will definitely be back!“
“Had the paper plane cocktail and the crispy fish tacos. Pretty standard, but I have a bias for fish tacos, so standard fish tacos are 4 ⭐ by default in my book. Minor knock is that the slaw, mayo, and relish together were a little strong and kind of overwhelmed the fish. Why is it so dark? I get it, but I also don't get it ? low light has its merits, but this was super dark ? (the camera make the photos/videos look brighter than the lighting in reality)“
“After brunch, my date and I went here for drinks. I am not all that familiar with West Village so it was nice finding all these places via date. This place is your normal bar moment. Nothing fancy, but they aren't trying to be fancy. The minute I walked in, I had eye contact with someone that looked familiar. I was not sure where I saw him, but I felt like he was somewhat famous. I was a bit tipsy from brunch so I went to the restroom and scanned through my very little knowledge of celebrities. Then it hit me, How I Met Your Father. He was one of the actors from there. I asked Spencer, our cool bartender, if the actor was who I thought he was. "Keep it cool" is what he said, which I thought was hilarious. He wasn't Gisele Bundchen so I wasn't going to fan girl over him. I did take a sneaky pic for the gram, but that was all (millennial in me couldn't resist). If I am being honest, that day turned to night is a blur. I remember up until that point, but I do not remember what I drank here. All I know is I didn't mind just continuing my drinking moment here and Spencer was just great. However, accordingly to my date, he liked my date more than me. It is fine, we all can be friends. If you just want a casual drink, go here and say hi to Spencer. Will definitely be going back here.“
“We dropped by this cozy pub for some afterwork drinks and beer. I liked the classic English pub style decoration. It is a gastro pub but we did not eat this time. The service was friendly and effective, though they did not have portable credit card machines. It feels nowadays always a little bit unsure when you have to give your credit card to someone else. The pricing was moderate and music was not too loud. We could come back.Parking: As it is Manhattan, there are no cheap parking options available.“
“Fabulous food and ambiance. Loved the private tables in the back! Had a lovely, quiet meal for 6 people and could actually hear each other. Highly recommend! Large portions. Easy to share, esp the souvlaki minis as apps. The Pasta Santorini with the zucchini spirals was excellent. Prompt, attentive, and friendly service. Put sparklers in our birthday cake! Very fun!“
“Cozy, dark (love a dark bar!), very reasonable Happy Hour prices. $9 house red, $4.50 one braised pork slider with smoked coleslaw (they let you buy ONE!). Just the right snack before hitting the subway home. Nice service. Was greeted by the manager as I walked in. Admittedly, he and a coworker were setting up the front picnic tables, but he still took a moment to smile and say hello. The little things matter. Music is upbeat and changes quickly, so if you don't love one song the next may be your cuppa tea.The people next to me are having some kind of whiskey cocktail that comes with a lid bearing smoke ... smells devine.Come here after visiting Wall Street and Century21!“
“We celebrated my son’s birthday here, made reservation, had drinks and brought a cake. Philip was our server. He was the NICEST guy, courteous, attentive, did everything he could to make the event pleasurable for everyone. I highly recommend the Malt House. It’s a beautiful place as well. I will definitely be back for a meal. . Thank you so much for making my son’s birthday so memorable, Philip. You are AWESOME! … Zirka“
“I have found a legitimate broker who has helped me in so many ways in the aspect of forex & cryptocurrency. At first, I was really skeptical that it won't work but I still kept the faith going until I saw a recommendation about Mrs Craig Vanessa who changed my financial status from grass to grace. Once again I'm really grateful for your help and support towards me and my family in this tough time of the year. “This is a phenomenal pub/bar. The staff are super professional and friendly. They have this phenomenal beer on tap, Weihenstephan, that the bartender took the time and care to pour correctly. We sat outside, drinking awesome beer and watched the city roll by. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be back.“
“I had my birthday party at Ms Yoo and the experience was fantastic!! The staff was incredibly responsive during the planning stages and super accommodating on the night of. Not to mention some of the nicest people! The DJ upstairs was a huge hit too. Highly recommend hosting an event here :)“
“An inexpensive spot next to the Marriott Hotel. I came in and had the vesper martini from the happy hour and the burger sliders. The sliders are good despite them being on an English muffin. The bartender was attentive and nice which I enjoyed. The space seems pretty spacious. I would come back to try a full dinner!“
“Such a great chill time with friends! What felt like a hundred games to choose from for only a $10 gaming fee (we arrived around 1:30/2PM and were told we could play until closing at 11PM).Chai latte was great! Staff was very kind and helpful, even suggesting a game that became addicting to us quite fast.Would 1000% return!“
“One of the best Indian restaurants I've ever been to. The ambience, service, food, drinks, and music were incredible. Drinks with a twist, Mera naam joker, hera pheri, and RRR were outstanding. Loved the food as well, chicken jalapeño and green peas kulchas, pani puri, butter chicken, and malai paneer pinwheel. Definitely would come back again without hesitation.“
“I tried their food for the first time and it was really delicious. The service staff was very kind and attentive. The food was fresh. The atmosphere was very warm and cozy. If you want to try the delicious dishes of Japanese cuisine, I definitely recommend you to try it.“
“I visited this bar on a weekend night for a pint. The place has a strong pub atmosphere, with exposed wood and Irish signage. There was a person doing live music in the corner who was great. The bartenders were attentive and quick to serve. Overall I had a great time here.“
“This is a place you must go to when in NYC. I was back in the NY groove for the weekend and watched the Islanders vs Rangers game here. Great atmosphere, amazing drinks and phenomenal bar service! Cheers to the twin sisters working the bar area; you gals rock. Being that it was an emotional hockey game with playoff implications everyone was loud and proud. The owner, Ian, introduced himself and we started talking. Love the fact that he was pro police and supports NYPD. Ian wound up buying myself, my buddy and cousin shots as we were walking out after the game. When in Manhattan and close to Penn station, do yourself a favor and support this local bar, they are top notch! Thanks for the great time!!“
“Lunchtime was perfect. Their lunch special is GREAT value for money. It's such fantastic food--really flavourful, very very good and filling portion sizes. I absolutely loved my meal here. I got the fisherman noodle soup which came with rice, sushi, shrimp tempura and potato croquette. Would HIGHLY recommend their lunch special especially.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available“
“Came in for a birthday beer & was greeted and treated very warmly . It’s very welcoming and many locals appeared after time. The Brisket was fantastic & the beer was crisp and refreshing. All thanks to Cat - she was amazing and very welcoming. Will definitely be coming back if in the “
“Mehmet, Cyrille, Deb, and Alok, are the best bartenders ever in the entire new work city. I can’t imagine how they thrive to a higher position considering their time accumulated and their consistent hospitality and immaculate communication to bar regulars. I would give them, and Tony and Primo 5 Michelin Stars if I could.Kid-friendliness: Def not kid friendly considering the crowd. The staff is amazing though. The parking is subject to NYC parking availability (call 311 at your discretion).“
“Ricecakes 10/10 Highly recommend!Fried chicken half and half 8/10 Not bad but typical KFCCheese fries 7/10 Good but oilySpicy cold sea snail salad 9/10 Good but a little too spicyVery busy for a rainy day. I didn't have to wait long and the staff were attentive. Like the other reviews state they do auto gratuity so best to check your receipt. If you feel generous great but it's best if someone catches it since the servers don't mention anything. I would just come back for the rice cakes. Don't expect a quiet dining meal since the music they play is a lot of Kpop hits but it's a very energetic vibe regardless how bad the weather is.“
“I've eaten here for lunch a couple of times and everything has been good. The fried chicken sandwich, the penny burger and the BLT are delicious. I especially like the Love Shack drink. Contains, prosecco, raspberry and I believe vodka.“
“Located in Koreatown, the resto is on the 5th floor. Cute backdrops of different designs. We ordered tasty fried chicken pieces with a mustard sauce, the best beef bulgogi (with mushroom sauce), oden fish cake soup and spicy squid/pork dish!“
“Like coming here once a month to see whats new on the menu. This week was a crazy prime beef donut. That correct a jelly donut but instead of jelly it has meat!! I don't know if it was deep fried or baked but it was delicious. The dough trapped the moisture and flavors as it was prepared creating a mouthful of delicious!! The side salad helped balance the carb load. Arugula with a sweet olive oil dressing!!“
“The Alvin became my home away from home during the pandemic and remains so to this day! The staff are friendly and feel more like family! What sets The Alvin apart from any other Irish pub is that the food is outstanding, particularly all chicken dishes and the fish and chips! (Even if my favorite are the beef sliders!) The Alvin is great for after work drinks, with large groups, private parties, and even small children! :D“
“If you're looking for a vibrant spot to unwind with friends, the bar downstairs offers a communal drinking experience that's hard to beat. During my recent visit, I didn't indulge in the food offerings, but instead, reveled in the convivial atmosphere and attentive service. Seating arrangements at the bar are unique, resembling large communal tables akin to a lively picnic setup. My friend and I found ourselves comfortably seated next to another group, adding to the sense of camaraderie and shared enjoyment of the space. While the drinks are on the pricier side, this is to be expected of a hotel bar located in the heart of the city. Despite the higher prices, the quality of the drinks and the professionalism of the staff made the experience worthwhile. Overall, if you're seeking a place to connect with friends over drinks in a lively setting, the bar downstairs is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared to embrace the communal vibe and indulge in the spirited energy of the place.“
“Second time coming, first time coming for dinner. JWF is quickly becoming a favorite! Fantastic service, lovely ambience and lighting, not too loud or crowded but clearly popular. Food was great, as were drinks. My friend ordered a cider and I had a ginger mocktail (can't remember the name). Very well done! For food, my table got the ceviche, fish (which was massive) and chips (perfect), mushy peas (delicious, was glad I cautiously tried them), and the special pie of the day, steak and oyster pie. The pie was better than any steak pie I've had- buttery, crisp crust, a rich sauce, and a really lovely, savory filling. We were absolutely stuffed by meal's end so I ordered a sticky toffee pudding to go, which was absolutely spot on. Can't recommend this place enough.“
“It was nice coming back to this pub that was the former Irish American Pub. The drinks are still amazing, new pool tables to play and their wings are still good. Love the job the new owners did fixing the place up. Karaoke still rocking on Fridays and the clientele still cool. Staff were very friendly and the service superb. Looking forward to visiting again in the future and most definitely glad to have this pub back in business!“
“absolutely loved our experience here! We seated immediately, the atmosphere and surroundings were really nice, and the food was great! Service is slightly slow, but really good still. Highly recommend for a hang out with friends or a date calamari is excellent, and the drinks are good always have a great time here.“
“My friend and I ordered:Seafood pancakeDolsot Al bapDuck bulgogiSpicy monkfishCorn creme bruleeI would definately go back for the dolsot al bap and spicy monk fish dishes. The dolsot comes w a beautiful uni creme combined with the crispy bits of rice and textural experience of the fish roe was amazing. The Spicy monk fish had ~4 to 5 small pieces coated with smokey/spicy sauce and some veggies mixed w rice was a great combo.I personally judge a place on how crispy the seafood pancakes are and this was CRISPY. Definately would get again, it was also full of big chunks of seafood which is always a plus. The duck bulgogi was the least memoriable. It had the texture of duck but mainly just tastes like regular bulgogi.Corn creme brulee was sweet but overly sweet with a minimal corn flavor and some corn bits at the bottom.Service:9/10The waitress helping us get seatted for our rsvp were accomodating with grtting a seat closer to the wall vs the aisle. Our waiter was informative and had great sense when asking if we wanted to take any pictures/videos before mixing the Al bap for us.Also advising both of us to get two dishes before we ordered was helpful. Before peak hours, the atmosphere was pleasant. But, the tables are very close together and when its packed during peak hours it can be challenging speaking to one another due to the level of noise/conversation.“
