“Went to Pata Cafe for lunch in Elmhurst, Queens, NY. Looking for authentic Thai? You'll find dishes here that are hard to find in the ??. NY Times and Michelin recommended for casual authentic Thai fare.Had Thai Lychee tea and Yum Woon Sen. Sweet and complex flavor for the tea. Spicy, tangy, earthy, and herby flavors for the dish. Too full for dessert! The wife had the beef soup.Only seats 12 people max. Cash or Venmo only. Lots of free street parking on a Saturday. Can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: Most dishes dairy freeParking: Found parking right in front immediately on a Saturday for lunch“
“I work 12 hour shifts near here and I’m always soooo tired halfway through. I come here for a quick pick me up. The lady behind the counter is the absolute sweetest, drinks aside- she always lightens my mood. The açaí bowls are to die for- not mid. I’ve tried so many spots in Astoria and Vela is consistently yummy. Today. I went in for a milk tea and they ran out of boba. She went an extra mile to charge me for a medium despite me ordering a large! Soooo sweet. ??“
“This shop offers the highest quality of drinks you will ever find. The service is super friendly and welcoming, and if you aren't a people person there's kiosks you can order from as well. Overall it's the quality of everything that keeps me as a returning customer, even down to the cups themselves, you'll know when you hold one. You won't want other boba once you come here“
“They were nice, I found it cuz I was getting a facial not too far from here & just happened to find it. I wanted to try something different so I tried the mango milk tea & it was good. There were people that came in after me & everyone ordered the waffles. I wasn't in the mood for waffles but I asked if it was good, they said it's really good. I saw a connect 4 & some books so I'm assuming you can sit and enjoy while playing or reading. When I go back I'll try the waffles.“
“Not count as cheap eat though, but I really like the vibes here, it’s pretty like local Cantonese style. And the food taste pretty good though, I like the cheese pork cutlet and the Hong Kong style milk tea.The staffs are really nice here, tips are not mandatory but I did leave some tips to them.“
“Has its own entrance and Manu, but is connected indoors to the neighboring ramen shop. Extensive menu that includes hot food appetizers. Has the typical toppings and requisite menu options for your standard bubble tea shop and good flavors.“
“This is a very cute shop, my hubby and I took a long drive here but it was well worth it. The minute I walked in, I was so happy seeing and smelling their delicious mochi donuts. They have a delicious selection on teas as well. If I lived closer, I'd go there every day. The service was great, the woman who helped us was so kind and friendly.“
“Excellent in all its aspects, the only thing is that the place is a little small, but this does not really matter nor does it affect the quality of their products, the service is very good and fast, especially Annie's attention ?Thai Milk Tea recommended“
“The environment in this cafe was calm and relaxed. This is a great place for you to finish up any work you need and the type of music gives a nice cafe vibes. The food I order was good and I would definitely order again. The mayo spam kimbap was flavorful and I devoured that meal like in five minutes. I would totally recommend this cafe.“
“Their noodles are freshly made, live, by a real noodle chef. It may look like a Japanese ramen place from outside, given all these shabby and confusing lanterns, but it is actually a really good Chinese noodle restaurant. My personal fav is pulled round noodles, either pan fried or in soups. The noodles are chewy and cooked perfectly. I would say their takeout is not as good as dine-in because the noodles are cooked a bit more being steamed in the container. So if you want to try, please come in-person. I hope this place is here to stay in this neighborhood for the long haul because it doesn't seem to have enough customers.“
“I was really craving a mango pomelo sago and it's kind of hard to find at boba shops so glad they had it was really good! I did 50% sugar and was still sweet. I ordered the pork rice dish but unfortunately they were out of rice so I got it over noodles which were still really good (a little bit salty tho).I'm curious to try their other drinks like the taro or chestnut ones.“
“So far everything I've ordered from here is delicious. My friends and I love the Gelato, macaroons, their keylime pie is so rich. Overall great experience ordering - I have never been in store for the experience but that may change soon.“
“Very nicely decorated place. I got a Oreo taro milk tea and it was great. I forgot to change the sugar level and surprisingly it isn't that sweet. They were nice to answer any questions that I have. I think they are most famous for slush.“
“My go-to bubble tea shop on Fresh Pond Road, and a great place to get a bite too. Love their selection of drinks. My daughter enjoys the strawberry mint mojito (no alcohol in it) with bursting bubbles, and I enjoy their selection of freshly brewed teas. Everything feels fresh. The sushi burritos are delicious and my friends are a fan of the waffles as well.“
“This is one of the most aesthetic dessert places I've been to. Great for friends and family to gather, have a chat and get some yummy dessert. I visited in winter so some of the items I.e. durian was served frozen. Most of the items were pretty good, only item I would pass is the mango sticky rice because the rice wasn't sweetened and the sauce on the side did not absorb when poured over.“
“Omg this place is literally so cute. You gotta check it out they have so many dessert options that you can show your friends and family and treat them. You could also take out and buy these sweet treats as a gift to someone. The inside is also really nice and the people who work there are also pretty chill. Check this place out for some nice vibes and dessert :)“
“Fantastic delivery packaging. A cooler bag with individual boxes. I was impressed. When it comes to the crepe cakes, I didn’t Iove it. Maybe I’m not the target audience. Asian desserts are often not very sweet. But this was tasted like it really has no sugar in it. I got matcha, chocolate roll, and mango. Rhe three barely had any distinct taste.“
“Really thankful to have this spot within delivery distance of me! Their miso soup has a rich flavor and they have a 2-4-1 special which means I have leftovers for the next day. Their steamed pork buns are small but tasty. Their sushi rolls have been fresh every time!“
“I usually come here for their boba and today I was craving a Vietnamese sandwich so I got the bbq pork sandwich and let me say I am surprise at how good it is! I was a little spectacle about ordering a sandwich in a boba shop but I must say the bbq pork sandwich was delicious. It was so flavorful and with a good amount of spice ! They service is quick and the staff are super helpful and friendly. There is a small heated outdoors dining area for you to sit also! I will be back to try the signature bbq pork sandwich next time!“
“Small but very cute and clean boba milk tea cafe in the heart of LIC. This place also serves many types of Asian food, like poke, sushi, and other healthy salads and rice bowls. I ordered the spicy ahi tuna poke bowl and a tea drink. Poke bowl used very fresh ingredients, fresh tuna, warm moist rice, and it was very nicely presented and tasty; the portion size was just right as well - I did not leave hungry. The prices are fair. The interior is very cute, clean, and a lot of nice subtle details throughout the inside.“
“Glad there's another boba spot in the mix of Rego Park. I can tell they do a better job of providing quality tea than other boba businesses here. I ordered the Jasmin green milk tea and it wasn't watered down. I was able to taste the flavor and their tapioca pearls were perfect“
“I got the chicken banh mi and Vietnamese iced coffee. The sandwich was decent but I thought the veggies could’ve been pickled a bit more. The price point is good… and it’s closer to my parents’ house, so I’ll come by again and check out other items on the menu.Other info: There’s a bathroom, but limited seating. Metered parking.“
“Despite the store name, these donuts are a great reminder of the age old lesson - it's what's on the inside the counts. The red bean filled donuts are game changing. With the cinnamon sugar, it's nice and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and most importantly, not too sweet. And there's no DAIRY. How is that even possible. Staff are super friendly. Everything is fresh and made to order, so I would suggest eating it as soon as possible. Also order online so it's ready when you get there.“
“One of the best milk tea places in new york. My girlfriend and I we have been to every hyped milk tea place in New York City and trust me when I say, this local place beats all the others in a heartbeat. Their milk tea is creamy and the consistency is top notch. The owner is very welcoming and always serves you with a good smile. The ambiance of the place is also very warm. They have decent seating arrangement and have clean bathrooms. You won’t regret getting your next milk tea from here.“
“A tea place that is more traditional herbal style rather than milk/Boba. I got thr osmanthus oolong tea. It personally was not my favourite taste but I can definitely taste the herbal osmanthus so it does not just taste like sugar water like most other tea places.“
“Love this location. There are several Mr Wish in NYC. I generally like them but this location consistency is the best. Taste of the tea is always top notch, fresh, and done as you ask, amount of ice, sugar level etc. pearls always chewy but not rubbery. Open late enough for your after dinner treat. Good space if you feel like a quick break. Customer loyalty card is the icing on the cake.“
“This is suuuuuuch a cool spot, highly recommended cafe and ceramics workshop, you can see the ceramics pieces made by the owner and her kid, they're just unbearably cute oh and coffee is good tooKid-friendliness: ⭐⭐⭐? even offer babysitting on weekendsWheelchair accessibility: Step-free entry“
“Alright, with all the Yelpers reviews of this Boba Tea shop; figured got to give this place a try while in Flushing Queens. The main attraction is the starchy Boba balls made fresh and churned daily in that sweet brown sugar sauce. Ordered the Iced Brown Sugar Boba Tea;wait time was just about ten minutes. Because it's still Winter weather- drinks with no ice cost an additional quarter. My drink tasted really good- the boba itself was still warm; gave the drink some extra warmth. The texture of the boba was bouncy and chewy- and has that great brown sugar after taste. The drink was a bit too milky- watched the clerk pour so much lactaid milk into my cup. Overall, boba tastes better in the Winter time“
“M Tea is my favorite bubble tea spot. They always have fresh boba and they use fresh fruit in their teas. My go to is the mango pomelo which always contains ripe, delicious mango. I have never been disappointed by any of their teas that I have tried and they don't just use a bunch of syrups like most other bubble tea shops. A hidden gem in LIC.“
“One of our relatives had picked up a couple of drinks for us when they were in Elmhurst. This is quite delightful and refreshing. The bobas are unique with a burst of fruit flavor inside each of them, unlike the more common solid bobas that come with these styles of drinks. It's hard to find anywhere else, and the jelly is cut to look like mini fries. Will try other menu items.“
“I got the Fresh Taro Milk and oh boy was it fresh. I came back from a run and was really craving for something to drink and came across this place. The fresh taro milk sounded healthy so I decided to get it! No additional sugar and the drink was so clean and felt sooo... organic. Def highly recommended!“
“Wow! So delicious, the whole family loved it! The fruit is sweet and fresh. The matcha ice cream was very good but what I was most impressed by was the coconut ice cream! It was soft and sweet but not overbearing like unnatural or artificial coconut flavor. The crepe was thin and crunchy. Overall a 10/10 this place was amazing! The prices are also very reasonable most things less than $10. The amount you get and the quality of it is worth every penny!“
“Very dope boba spot with lots of claw machines filled with cute plushies! I got a Green Milk Tea with Boba and Whipped Taro which were pretty good. The taro was creamy and delicious. I would recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a cool spot to test your luck with the claw machines and get good boba. They also serve lots of fried snacks and food options.“
“Best mochi coffee donut I've ever had, I'm so happy I went, now I dream about it daily. I did take 4 to go, gave me neighbor one donut then ate 3 on my own the next day. To be honest they tasted better the following day when eaten first thing in the morning with tea. If this place was next to my house I'd be there every morning!“
“Tucked away into the less crowded block next to 71st avenue is Pokeplus a seemingly long spacious poke place. Just ask for every topping you can get (as long as its free of course), and always go in person to order. It is just like chipotle, if you arent there to pressure them they will skimp you on the meat.“
“I love this spot because they have a kiosk in the front, as well as people taking orders in the back. The drinks come out quick and there are SOO many flavors to choose from. They are all reasonably priced and super tasty! They have unique fruity options and bubble tea options to choose from. The interior is clean and bright, and there are also seats if you want to stay.“
“The place is nice, clean, very pleasant, for me they are the best drinks of this type, it is my favorite place but twice I have ordered two drinks and they have made a mistake, they have changed it for me but it does change the attitude of the people who They seem to be upset knowing that I have been clear with my request. Thank you!!“
“BEST Mochi Donuts I've ever had!! Donuts were soft, chewy, and delicious. I ordered their 4 donut set and got the cereal, strawberry, chocolate, and Misugaru. The Misugaru (Traditional Korean Multi-grain) is my favorite its light, nutty, not too sweet, slight roasted similar to cheerios compliments the donuts very well. Highly recommend you also try their Pastel de Natas (Portuguese Egg Tarts) super creamy egg custard inside of a crispy flaky pastry crust. It's served warm so enjoy right away! Perfect with an Iced Americano“
“Absolutely delicious mochinuts I have ever tried! They have so much depth and flavor that one is never enough! They have so many to choose from and each and every flavor is chefs kiss! I know I will be coming here everytime I crave some mochinuts.“
“I love their red bean signature desert the most. It is especially comforting when the weather is cold. During the warm summer I enjoy eating their shaved ice. This time round I got my red bean desert to go. I still enjoyed it as much. Only thing I dislike is that they charge $0.35 for takeout.“
“This establishment may hold the best boba in the whole borough. Perhaps the whole city. I stepped in this place in awe of the 144hz 60fps monitors showcasing each of the delicate beverages. I ended up choosing a recommendation from the fellow barkeep and got a Thai Milk tea on the rocks with extra boba. May i say, this is the best liquid substance I’ve gotten my sweaty hands on. 10/10 sweet goodness. I bought 4 more to drink throughout the day, and let me inform you, I found the meaning of life. All thanks to Cocos Fresh Tea & Juice. My messiah.“
“This small cafe is a great stop for a quick bite or drink. They pay attention to detail and things are made in house. It is conveniently located next to a local Chinese supermarket and an elementary school. Fortunately, there is a parking lot that has tons of space available for free. The cafe is quite small and meant for a quick order and pick up, but there's some seating for a sit down. Indoor Sit down is only for 3-4 people. You can place your order either by walking in or calling ahead of time to pick up. I ordered lumpia and it was cooked right away just as I ordered it. It was fresh and crispy. Definitely homemade. One order comes with 5 pieces along with a sweet and sour sauce. The chicken bacon avocado wrap is filling with lots of vegetables and protein. Flavor wise, everything is quite balanced. The Hawaiian chia bowl had mangos, bananas and granola on top. It was just sweet enough and not overpowering. Decent portion. The lemonade was a bit too sweet for my liking. If you'd like flavored lemonade, expect it to be flavored syrup mixed with some lemonade. It's delicious but quite sweet. Overall, I'd recommend this place for a quick bite, but not really for a sit down spot.“
“Very affordable prices, many under $10. Come check it out. A small cute neighborhood place serving quick simple Hong Kong style food. Don't expect gourmet, just simple, affordable comforting and nothing complicated. Decor: so cute and lovely. Cute cat decorations everywhere. Super duper cute cat keychains and pins (all of which are for sale), decorate a large part of the cashier counter. A lovely purple alcove decorated with hanging purple lilacs and other flowers. In the other corner, comfortable and cozy with pillows decorating the bench seating. I'd recommend getting one of the combo sets, so you can try different dishes on the menu. Breakfast combo sets All day combo sets Lunch box combo set How it works: order and pay at the counter. Take a seat and server will bring your food to you when it's ready. Service is good. Didn't have a long wait for food to arrive. Tried the old school dish, preserved egg and pork congee. Nice and comforting on a chilly day. Tried the box lunch set of garlic shrimp, bacon Alfredo with spaghetti noodles. Comes with a cold jasmine tea. Light and refreshing. And a side salad of grape tomatoes and Romain lettuce. Noodles were good, but could have used a bit more sauce or cheese. Nice chunks of bacon flavored the dish well. Wonton soup. The additions of seaweed, baby shrimp and scallions made this soup, super flavorful!“
“Handmade noodles tossed in chili oil with a dan dan Seasoning. Dumplings crispy and not oversteamed. The dumpling sauce also not just watered down soy. It's got vinegar sugar and a hint of fish sauce. Hot sauce also is a special mix as well. Lots of flavor. Lots of seating. Doesn't need to be pretty, the food does and it's very tasty“
“To be honest I really like their menu options. They have a variety that usually no one Carries. But I’m giving 1 star less because their boba are usually a little hard when you go there a little late. I have had other places and they are usually fine no matter how late you go. But the lady working there was super nice thou“
“Stopped by here about 6 months ago on my way home. I originally wanted to stop by Gong Cha which was around the corner, but strangely enough, it wasn't open. I found this bubble tea spot instead and decided to give it a try. At the time, I was the only customer in. Despite that, I opted to use the self-ordering kiosk. I ended up getting 2 drinks to-go, but both drinks were average and not too memorable. The tapioca pearls themselves in my Brown Sugar Milk Tea were not too hard nor too soft though which was a plus. Luckily, they provided a plastic bag that snugly fit the two drinks I had because as soon as I got home, I discovered that one drink was not sealed properly on top and was leaking. As for the atmosphere itself, the inside was quite spacious and there's plenty of seating as well as photo-ops. The menu design was incredibly cute as well (pictures attached).Should I be in the area again, I'll likely stop by and explore the other options this spot has to offer.“
“King fu tea has been here for two years and i never noticed due to it being a bit far but also in a secluded corner near chip city but I’m crying on the inside because the one in jackson heights is horrible with their service and now i’m notice there’s one near me which is sad. But this place is clean modern and nice server the man with glasses a funny guy also saved me from almost eating gelatin he’s like it comes with jelly it might have gelatin and i’m willing to check I was like it’s okay just swap with a different thing that alone shows his openness and consideration this server has which made my expierence way better than i expected. Always get the mango tea drink with popping mango bubbles amazing great quality great tasting the bobarista man with the glasses does magic with your drinks overall great experience compared to teapsy across the street.Dietary restrictions: Be careful of Gelatin haram“
“Chun Yang Tea offers over 42 different beverages to choose from. Small but there is room for two tables with chairs. There are stools for additional seating at the window. I ordered the winter melon drink which was pretty delicious and refreshing.“
“This was maybe my second or third time ordering here. I’ve always passed the restaurant and thought nothing of it until someone wanted bubble tea and asked to go here. That was my first time stepping into Dango. I didn’t realize there was food. I have to say: hands down best customer service ever. The honey pineapple chicken was my favorite. I always add extra rice cake with it. Their rice dishes are great too. For the price, you do get a lot of food. I haven’t tried everything on the menu but from what I have tried, I can’t say anything bad about anything I’ve ordered. I’ll always go back for that honey pineapple chicken but do give their other dishes a try. Want a little mild or spicy? They got that too for their grandma chicken. They are my go-to for something close by.“
“Yum yum yummm. As a Taiwanese person, I loveeee the basil mayo sauce with the large popcorn chicken. It’s a total delight after a long workout at the climbing gym too. I also reccomend the ru rou fan (marinated pork) on a bed of rice a with half an egg and scallions“
