“Decided to treat myself to dinner and went to check out this place. Came in during a dinner rush and was seated right away. A nice dark atmosphere. I ordered the NY strip steak and I gotta say it was amazing. Cooked to perfection, melted in my mouth. Cooked like a real steak a perfect medium rare. So good on its own and didn't any sauce but it came with a delicious arbol chilli salsa. Great service with friendly staff. I can't wait to come back and try the lamb tacos amongst other things. I highly recommend a lovely dinner here“

“I don’t understand does this place not read the instructions of their orders ? Why do you always forget to add the sauces when the instructions specifically says to put in on the side. The sauces are one of your main attractions and the only reason I order. Or else I’m better off ordering from chipotle. Please get it together I will not longer be ordering from here.“

“Fun place for a date. The tacos were really delicious (shout out to the al pastor) and the michelada and margaritas were tasty. Service was slow at times and the biggest knock is they're a bit overpriced. Overall, a solid spot and worth stopping by if you want good food in Forest Hills.“

“I stopped by Dos Toros and ordered a carnitas burrito bowl, and it was definitely the best value on the menu. The portion was generous, and the staff didn’t skimp on any of the ingredients, which I really appreciated. The carnitas had great flavor—well-seasoned, tender, and not dry at all. The rice was also really good, cooked well and not just filler like some places tend to do.

My friends each ordered a taco, and while they enjoyed them, the portion size difference was pretty noticeable compared to my bowl. If you’re hungry, I’d definitely recommend going for something bigger.

The food overall was delicious, and I was especially impressed that the spicy sauce actually had heat to it. It wasn’t just labeled “spicy” with no kick—it delivered. If I ever find myself in this terminal again, Dos Toros will be my first stop.“

“Every time I’m in 90 roosevelt ave I always go to Tia Julia, I will always get a torta, but one time I got rice and beans, there were 2 options, 5$ rice and beans or 10$ rice and beans, both are very cheap but u chose the 5$ dollar rice and beans. When I went into my car, it was so good. Customer service is great they are friendly every single time I come. I definitely recommend coming here.“

Nice atmosphere with Banda music which is classic to Mexican restaurants (I don't mind it as long as it's not too loud)
Our waiter was a kind gentleman. He could've been a tad more attentive in refilling chips or just give updates from the kitchen but, I'm not really bothered.
Food was delicious it just took a good minute for us to get it.
Things to note: no parking, they charge extra for paying with a card.
Overall, I will probably come back. Just because new York is too large to explore. You really need to make a good impression to have repeat customers without seeing other options first.“

“While the burrito was good, I paid $5 extra for barbacoa and it was pork, $16 is too much for a pork burrito. How can I tell? There was crispy skin and barbacoa does not have that.

*Update: the business clarified I was lamb - it did taste like pork to me but I don't eat Barbacoa often so I'll take their word for it.“
