“Don’t sleep on this place!Located on a small side street in rego park it can be easily missed without knowing about it. The decor is what my interior design friend described as resembling a turkish marketplace. This place offers some amazing authentic Kosher Bukharian cuisine. They have their own tandoor ( stone oven ) to make fresh bread Liposhka and Samsa.Menu offers everything you might want from lagman, shurpa, samsa, plov, 7 types of shashlik, manty and more! All delicious.I suggested they add a dessert option to extend the meal experience.“

“Came here for lunch on a hungry weekday. I've always loved Panera's sourdough bread so to me anything Panera is a thumbs up for me. Ordered at the kiosk near the entrance and decided on the sandwich and soup combo. Wait time wasn't long, but the counter staff forgot to call out my name- so I stood there waiting for more than ten minutes more or less. Got back and devour my warm turkey club sandwich--So delicious. It's the outer bread that makes the sandwich taste so much better-yum. Combo comes with a tomato soup which taste good, and the kettle chips was also a plus. Will continue to come back here for lunch“

“A warm local Georgian place which is owned by a super friendly and easy going owner with a simple but cute decor. The service is also great with the owner happy to recommend the dishes.I wanted to tick off the traditional Georgian dish, Adjaruli Khachapuri. It's basically a bread boat filled with cheese and raw egg yolk. It's a baked dish and is best eaten when hot. One needs to mix the raw egg yolk properly within the cheese and then devour it. The bread was easy to break with crisp sides while the cheese was really creamy and smooth. It basically felt like a better version of NYC cheese pizza minus the marinara, and I would happily choose this one over pizza! The dish is simple, filling and soul satisfying which made me love it. The prices too are pretty decent compared to the neighborhood they are located in.Overall an amazing experience with Georgian food, would definitely come back to try their Khinkali (dumplings) next time!“

The soup was hot and rich, packed with silky fish maw, springy noodles, four kinds of mushrooms, lettuce, bouncy fried tofu, tofu skin, and tender poached chicken. Beautiful, fresh, comforting, delicious! The restaurant was basically spotless with cheerful vibes and prompt service. Other customers were either chatting happily or eating. 5 stars. “I have been here for both dinner and lunch. I prefer the dinner menu over their lunch menu because of the bigger portions and wider variety, but the dinner menu is available at lunch as well. For dinner, my partner got the braised short rib which he was very pleased with. I got the set of four hand rolls which all tasted fresh and delicious. The hand rolls are more like open sushi tacos. There was a lot of filling so I ended up being fuller than I expected. For lunch, we had the lunch bento set which included a small portion of an entrée, a miso soup or salad, and a hand roll of your choice for about $25 depending on your entree. The teriyaki is on the milder side. Overall, I am happy to have this little gem in Brooklyn. Besides the good food, service has always been exceptional too.“

“I love omakase. I love not having to decide what to eat. This place has multiple locations apparently and opened up near the end of last year. It looked good and I'd been wanting to try it for a while. I'm glad I got the chance. It's a small-ish place. You can either sit at the bar or a table. We sat at the bar and these 2 girls next to us were super loud the whole time. I got the green tea sake, which actually taste like straight green tea and I loved it. I don't remember the name of it. The rest of the courses were pretty standard: uni, sea bream, tuna, wagyu beef, and there was a wagyu beef nigiri but I forgot to take a picture of it. The night ended with this adorable looking dessert which was wafer cookie with ice cream in it. Really nice restaurant, very nice service, not too pricey, and their sake list is pretty extensive. I would go back just for that green tea one.“

“Kalguksoo is good for sure, seafood oko pajun is great too. But pajun was about $30 and noodles were about well over $20 lol. Expect to spend about $50 per person. Although, one individual can't finish pajun.. $30 is wild lol food itself is great but if you're ok with paying that price, go for it.“

“I have been wanting to try this cozy restaurant for some time and had the opportunity during a weeknight. Place wasn't overly crowded, and we were seated close by the door. What's interesting is that they offer soju to replenish your fluids. We ordered their seafood pho with a side order of bone marrow, short rib pho, and Vietnamese pancake. The bone marrow was delicious, and the short ribs soup was great. It's a bit pricey for a bowl of pho, and worth trying if you are in the area.“

“This local dive is so good you wish it would stay local! Wildly popular spot that’s been around forever. The Curry Chicken Noodle Soup is to die for. The noodles are the thick yellow kind. The Curry Beef Noodle Soup comes with the thin yellow noodles (but you can always ask for the other). There’s a little wait time on weekends, but the turnaround for tables is good because the service is so fast. The take-out option (pick-up only) here is thriving and also fast and accurate.“

“Burp Bowl is a complete hole in the wall, but the food is incredibly delicious and authentic. Seriously, it feels like you're stepping into a restaurant in China. I've been numerous times now and my favourites are their beef noodle soup, which has a savoury beef broth and tender chunks of beef, and the sliced beef tripe appetizer, which has notes of sweetness and spiciness. The beef trip noodle soup and pork tongue were also great, but not as good as the beef noodle soup and sliced beef tripe appetizer.I did not like the wontons in chili oil, since it literally just came in a bowl of oil.And if you're a vegetarian, they have a delicious veggie noodle soup, which pairs super well with the chili crisps they have in-house.“

“Excellent quality - both Italian ice and ice cream - so many flavors to choose from. Probably the best ice on the island. In my personal opinion most flavors beat Ralph’s Italian ice by a mile. Fresher fruit flavors, creamier and more flavorful. Five stars for them from me!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“I don’t normally love Thai food but the Red eye chili paste chicken is so good and spicy that I know I will be thinking of this dish for some time. Every ingredient is fresh, the chicken was perfectly tender and moist, and the rice omg it’s so good. You can tell it was prepared with immense care. The one man chef/owner also gave me great recommendations from the menu and tips on how to enjoy the food at home. He is SO sweet. The ambience is so lovely and quaint as well!! ?“

“I love lobster rolls and this is one my favorite places to get ‘em. It aint cheap at 34 bucks per roll and just one is never enough for me. I love how they post the source of todays seafood at the front counter (see pic). I know that my lobster rolls came from “Portland Pier, Maine” today. The quality of the service and the food is always superior. This restaurant has the vibe of a small lobster shack and sometimes there’s no guarantee of a seat - in that case we’ll just take our food down the block to Union Square. This store is in a prime location with a huge CitiBike docking station right in front.“

“Barbacoa Artisanal Burger House truly stood out in every aspect! From the moment we walked in, the fast service caught our attention, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Our waitress was not only attentive but also displayed a level of professionalism that added to the overall satisfaction. All the appetizers were delicious, with a special nod to the cauliflower appetizer—a delightful introduction to the meal that set the perfect tone. The creativity and attention to detail in each dish reflected the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence. The cauliflower appetizer, in particular, was an absolute standout, showcasing flavors that no one should miss.Moving on to the main course, the quality of the meat surpassed expectations, solidifying Barbacoa's reputation as a premier steak restaurant. Adding a personal touch to our experience, owner Eddy was remarkably polite and made us feel as if we were the only guests in his restaurant. This personalized attention elevated our dining experience to a whole new level. What made the entire experience even more remarkable was the very fair pricing. Despite the exceptional quality of the food and service, the cost was reasonable, providing excellent value for the overall dining adventure. Additionally, each plate came with a generous side dish, enhancing the overall value and satisfaction of the meal. With such an outstanding experience, we are undoubtedly planning to return to Barbacoa Artisanal Burger House. A solid 5-star review for delivering an unforgettable evening filled with delectable flavors, outstanding service, a welcoming atmosphere, and especially memorable appetizers. We're definitely coming again!“
