“Great food—Nasi bungkus with rendeng is my favorite, but the oxtail soup is super tasty. Small place with good service. This was the first place I ate when I moved to the neighborhood, so this will always be a local spot I frequent.Dietary restrictions: My friend has a tree nut allergy, which limited our options but our server was incredibly helpful and made sure there wasn’t cross contamination. We both enjoyed our meals!“
“i need you to know that i am sitting here at home eating the bearabo and there’s still half in front of me and i never write reviews on here but it’s so life altering-ly good that i am here saying it’s unreal and ADD THE CAJUN MAYO. thank for the gift of pork roll in new york and your service. (also the marinated tomatoes?!?!?! )“
“Ambiance: hipster hole-in-the-wall. I didn't ask if the servers are related, but it definitely has a family vibe.Portion size: ample. I got the bulgogi japchae. It came out in a small mixing bowl, filled to the brim. Plus, it came with banchan. You will not leave hungry!Service: very friendly. You can tell these are good people.Flavor: solidMy only nit is that the kitchen was slow. My food took a bit more than half an hour to come out.I don't think I'd take the train to come back here, but I would return if I was within walking distance. Great neighborhood spot!“
“This local dive is so good you wish it would stay local! Wildly popular spot that’s been around forever. The Curry Chicken Noodle Soup is to die for. The noodles are the thick yellow kind. The Curry Beef Noodle Soup comes with the thin yellow noodles (but you can always ask for the other). There’s a little wait time on weekends, but the turnaround for tables is good because the service is so fast. The take-out option (pick-up only) here is thriving and also fast and accurate.“
“I have been wanting to try this cozy restaurant for some time and had the opportunity during a weeknight. Place wasn't overly crowded, and we were seated close by the door. What's interesting is that they offer soju to replenish your fluids. We ordered their seafood pho with a side order of bone marrow, short rib pho, and Vietnamese pancake. The bone marrow was delicious, and the short ribs soup was great. It's a bit pricey for a bowl of pho, and worth trying if you are in the area.“
“Made to order and all the ingredients used are fresh. Reminds me of eating delicious açaí bowls at grappling competitions. Highly recommend if folks are also looking for other healthy bowl alternatives.Staff is very friendly as well, clean store and calm vibes ?“
“Delicious/super flavorful soups and braised lamb which was SO tender! Do wish the oxtail soup came with a bit more oxtail but other than that, lunch is such a great deal. The specials also come with an assortment of little apps which was a nice way to sample a bunch of dishes the restaurant offers. Would personally skip the sushi next time and stick with the other stuff on the menu. Service was very fast!“
“They have healthy vegan food which is rare in this neighborhood. On top of that the vegan food tastes identical like real meat. Highly recommend Citrus chicken made with vegan meat , Plant base delight with quinoa. Feel inside out healthy at this restaurant and look for their delivery service of my everyday meal.“
“great neighborhood spot, lowkey a hidden gem since it’s not usually that busy so I can get food pretty fast. A good amount of noodles for the price and service was nice. The interior/atmosphere looks modern and cleaner than other restaurants in the area. Beef noodles had rich broth and bouncy mifen. Comes on a wooden tray with three other small pickled vegetables that you can add yourself. The pork burger or 肉夹馍 had a crispy outside and flavorful inside. Table has dried chilis, chili oil, sriracha, and black vinegar to add yourself. Also they do take card here, but had to tip in cash.“
“Enjoyed a delicious and satisfying meal together with a friend. The Bandeja Tipica was a must try, offering a spread of traditional Colombian eats that truly delivered on authentic taste. Steak lovers won't be disappointed by the Entraña cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself has a casual atmosphere, making it a great spot for a relaxed and flavorful dining experience.“
“I recently dined at Coco Hotpot, and I was thoroughly impressed with both the food and service. The menu offered a delightful array of hotpot options, and the ingredients were fresh and high-quality. The broth was flavorful and aromatic, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience.“
“1st time ordering from Ricky's Pizza, got to say good customer service, fast delivery, very good pan Sicilian pie, good zeppolis, and pepperoni pin wheels. And all the food was fresh and hot. Definitely will be ordering from Ricky's Pizza again.“
“Definitely a hidden gem in Ditmars, Astoria!! Tried few burgers , they were all packed with flavors of their own. We tried out the Mac Attack , Boss Burger and Truffle Theory Burger . Truffle Theory was delicious , the Boss Burger we couldn’t finish. Milkshakes were on point !!!Service - 10/10 Christina was very NiceAmbiance - 10/10 Outdoor Setup was nice and CozyParking - MeteredWiFi- Yes“
“This is the best place if you want loud, trendy music blasting with vibes all around. The manager did a service for us with a really delicious omelette with kimchi and cheese. The drinks kept coming and the vibes were good! Good for people in their twenties! This is a very trendy restaurant. The manager served us chicken ramen, and the atmosphere was great!☺️“
“We were skeptical of the menu change at first and almost walked out, but we decided to stay. We are glad that we stayed, because the sushi was incredible and very fresh. I'm glad we kept an open mind and would highly recommend this place to anyone. We will be returning.“
“The best part of this place is the atmosphere, love all the plants and Vietnamese chachtskis they have laying around. The food comes quick, good portion and they have a ton of unique sauces to pair. The service is usually a trademark bushwick transplant with just a enough tude to get you thru the check out and on to your meal.“
“Overall a nearly excellent burger in the Shake Shack style can be had here! There's about 20 different styles of burgers with creative combinations. We had the O'dada and double whammy burgers. Both were overall very good with fresh, high quality ingredients and an excellent brioche style roll. The main problem we had was the burgers were a bit too greasy and excessively juicy which kept us from giving a 5 star rating.. It was difficult eating these burgers without making a mess and the fatty juices were flowing out like a fountain. Despite this these are still probably the best burgers in Queens due to high quality ingredients and being very tasty. The service was quick and friendly! Recommended if you're in the area and you're craving a Shake Shack style burger.“
“i'm so sorry but i was disappointed. i've ordered 3 times hoping for better, but no luck... - their pad thai lacks flavor, like literally, it has spices (red pepper) but minimal sauce, fish bladder soup also feels like water with fish bladder. The only thing noteworthy were dumplings. The location is more catering for pick up, rather than sit down. I had such high hopes... I will be happy to update if it changes...“
“Portofino Ristorante is a CLASSIC and staple in Forest Hills. I've been going there my whole life with my family. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is so warm and inviting, and Carmine (the manager) makes you feel right at home. Can't recommend this place enough!!“
“I celebrated my PhD earlier this evening in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that we had a cool evening and the restaurant was undoubtedly the reason for that fruitful celebration. The stuff contributed in a splendid way, the meals were extremely good and my buddies were so happy. We shall absolutely return for more celebrations. Thank you very much.“
“We went here for Chicken. It was delicious and really reasonable prices. The place is clean and neat, bathrooms were clean. They have a sister place on Long Island and it is very different. We live close to the one on long island. Columbian Chicken is really good. I really enjoyed myself.Kid-friendliness: This is a pretty family place. Its build into the culture“
“Kriti was a great host, very fun going and with great suggestions. Love the food . Very authentic. Definitely recommend. Here is what I hadChilly Pork ( fried well ) with bun ( not rice )The dal is amazing ( try thali next time )Wai wai snack ( spicy) ?????Momo was goodThe lichi soju is ????The assam I bread , sweet donutThe puffed rice platter was ok“
“Perfect Combo Set Noodle soup & Fried Skewers. You can choose any protein ( Beef, Chicken, Lamb, Fish ) and 3 Skewers + Drink for $21.99.I’ve got the Fish Noodle soup & Chicken Skewers, the broth was creamy and rich of flavors and the chicken skewers was so tender. They also serve snacks like stinky tofu and Braised meat. This is a perfect place for a meal or afternoon snack.“
“I had the sichuan flavor rice noodle soup, and added duck blood slices and seafood ( shrimp and clams). They provide unlimited rice noodles. The rice noodles were precooked just right, it's soft yet unbroken. There were also small quantity of 11 assortment of side dishes that goes with the soup, which includes picked vegetables, black fungus, chinese smoked sausage. Bacon slices. It was an excellent and satisfying meal for cold spring day. I came at midnight for a late meal, the food is excellent and the place is opened 24/7.“
“Chinese beef dishes at its best and there are tons of creativity in there. They have several dishes that's quiet unique. 牛掌,Cha Siew, the beef stew are recommended. Additionally I think their beef sauce lo mein / rice noodle is so good that I've repeat this order several times already, it can not be found anywhere else, there are something special to it.“
“Small restaurant with delicious food. Lumpia, pork belly and chicken chosuey with garlic rice filled our tummies. There are about 5 tables and I do not believe they serve alcohol. Owners are very sweet and the restaurant is clean. Food is cooked fresh so may take slightly longer than expected.“
“Craving for pho and this place was pretty good. Ordered the pho with beef, meatballs and tendons. The beef was thin and soft. Tendons weren't too chewy and almost melted while eating. The pho soup had lots of flavor and was not watered down. For the none soup lovers, the lemongrass pork and spring rolls over rice noodles is a pretty good alternative. Plenty of meat and noodles topped with sauce. Beef or shrimp summer rolls were on the smaller side, but tasted good. A few tables indoors, metered parking in front.“
“Lenny’s has been a regular in our house for 7 years. The Tuesday and Wednesday deals can’t be beat, but the grandma is our favorite ? The meals are phenomenal too, from the lasagna to the vongole, it’s all fresh tasting and made with care. Service is quick and pleasant, we couldn’t love our local pizza place any more!!!“
“Whether it's a bacon, egg, cheese on a roll to any type of hot or cold hero, you're never ever disappointed. They are well known for their German potato salad. They also have other type of salads too.. oh and don't forget the hot soups.“
“Stopped by for an early lunch here. I ordered the spicy beef tripe noodle soup. It was very good. It cost me $9.50. Wall seating for 4-5 people. Another 4 spots at tables. It's a small place but worth stopping in. Tables and kitchen area were very clean. Can't wait to return and add the extras to noodle soup.“
“Zhengzhou Noodle, a Chinese noodle restaurant located in Flushing, New York, has opened a new location. The original restaurant was located in Golden Mall, but has moved to a larger space.Recently, I returned to Flushing and was eager to try the lamb noodles from Zhengzhou Noodle. The taste was exactly as I remembered, with tender, juicy lamb and a rich, flavorful sauce. The quality of the dishes remains high, and the service is friendly and efficient. In addition to lamb noodles, which remain the restaurant's signature dish, the new location offers a variety of new dishes that didn't exist at the old location. I tried the smoked duck noodles, which were delicious, and the scallion shrimp noodles, which were fresh and light.__________Recently, I returned to Flushing and was craving Zhengzhou Noodle's lamb noodles. “The food was flavorful and the rice noodles were perfect. Servers were very polite and friendly. Good service. The store itself is kind of small so there's almost always a wait. The table is a bit small but overall it was great. I will go back for sure.“
“Stumbled across this gem while wandering Flushing. This spot is a bit off the beaten path, but was worth the trek, though its only about 5 minutes away from the crowded areas of Flushing so not too bad.We ordered many dishes, the highlights of which were the seafood fried rice, the beef short ribs, and the fishball soup. The prices are very affordable, especially given the current environment for restaurants. Give it a try!“
“I always pass by this place but did not had the chance to try it out until now. I always like Vietnamese food so I was excited to check this place out with my friend. I ordered the Summer Spring Roll with peanut sauce, then papaya salad and Tofu Bah Mih sandwich. THE FOOD WAS SO FREAKING GOOD!!!! My friend ordered the huge bowl of Pho Bo which she said she enjoyed. The service was great. Our waitress Deepa was so patient and polite. I wish they have vegan desserts though. But I will definitely go back to get another Bah Mih sandwich .“
“Considering it's quite literally near being a hole in the wall, I've got to give them credit. It's 8 degrees outside so eat in was not so popular tonight but in their computer the orders were flying in for delivery. The fish is extremely fresh so the sushi was actually pretty great. The kara age was made with a different batter than usual but it was crispy and juicy. Their ramen was huge! Way more than I expected for the price. The outer storm door was broken, no window so every time someone walked in, you felt the cold, icy wind blowing in. Other than that, I really enjoyed it“
“I very much enjoyed my experience here. The drinks are very good. I had a strawberries and cream drink and it taste just like a strawberry milkshake yogurt. I really enjoyed it. The meat was very good and seasoned well. They were different options In regards to waiting there was a big wait the food came very fast. Appetizers were delicious and the service was very good and the waiters were very attentive and helpful and mindful if they see that you have a little bit of issues in regards to cooking so they will for sure be more than happy to help you will come again. This was my second time and the third time I know will be maybe even better.“
