“Loved this authentic diner on our short visit to Rochester. It's truly a hidden gem. Loved the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. The food was exceptional. We tried their breakfast menu. We loved everything. The one thing we weren't too fond of was the hollandaise sauce on the Salmon Benedict. It wasn't as silky as it should've been. Other than that, everything else was on point. Our favorite was the nutella stuffed french toast. The french toast was warm while the fruits n whipped cream were cold. It is the perfect breakfast!“

Our server gave us almost perfect timing between arrivals and didn't push any deals or anything. Music was at a great level, could speak and hear but was good background noise. Interior is very kept, no stains or messes I saw. Best of all, bathroom was CLEAN and did not reek of anything. I just want to say how I was impressed with the credit on the bill but to then offer an additional gift card went above and beyond. We will definitely be coming back. Everyone makes mistakes once in awhile and it spoke volumes that they owned it, apologized and made it more than right! Kudos to the entire staff here!!!“

“AMAZING! This the word I can use to describe our experience at this restaurant. We were told about it by our Pastor, and wow was he right. We had a WONDERFUL server- Ms. Chris who was just knowledgeable and attentive to our needs and questions. Thank you Ms. ChrisThe gentleman(whom I think is the owner) at the front when we walked in was very nice and inviting. He made sure we were seated in a timely manner, and he was in the business of taking care of the customer. In addition, he check on us at our table more than once during our time. He did this throughout the entire restaurant. I really appreciated the time he took to see how we were doing (for that alone I would come back.)The food was just DELICIOUS. I had the egg white omelet, hash brown, wheat toast and a peanut butter pancake. It was all SO GOOD. My husband and daughter enjoyed their food as well. This was a friendly neighborhood restaurant, and it was packed....the people just kept coming. I can see why..... the FOOD & SERVICE. We will certainly be back with our son, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GIVE THEM A TRY.?“

“I thoroughly enjoyed the haddock in cornmeal grits with cheese and eggs over hard at this restaurant. The seasoning on the fish was absolutely perfect! Not only was the food delicious, but it was also prepared quickly and remained warm when I picked it up. I highly recommend trying this restaurant!“

“Hands down BEST diner we have ever been to! We frequent the area from out of town for doctor visits and it’s always so busy…telling us it’s popular! We finally decided to give them a try! “Very busy like any breakfast spot on a Sunday morning. The staff is extremely dedicated and will make sure you're experience is a good one. From make your own omelets to biscuits n gravy this place has it all. Will definitely recommend to locals for a good breakfast place.Edit: Moving to 5 stars. I would love to see some modernization but the food is impeccable and the service is fantastic. This is definitely my first choice for breakfast if I'm not trying to spend $60 first thing in the morning.“

“The peppermill restaurates higher than what this survey has my favorite, which is hot Turkey sandwiches. The most important part of that is the gravy. There's nobody that can beat. They're gravy and believe me, I have tried to find other places that can beat it, and it can't be done. There were 4 key points with her that soured my whole experience. Such an unpleasant attitude I wish I hadn't tipped 20%. My only meh about the place is that they charge extra (4%) if you pay with a card, and their atm is currently broken.“
