“The Food at Brisas Del Mar is in Far Rockaway the food looked absolutely delicious there were some good choices to choose from that was on their menu and the service was good I was taken care right away and the price was good for what I picked out I would go again when I get the chance check them out if you're in the area ???”

“Went to Osaka Japanese restaurant and had an excellent meal with the family. The service was quick efficient and friendly ,place was not too crowded. It is quite small so I wouldn't necessarily recommend groups of more than four people, but definitely a nice place for families and friends to enjoy a good meal. We had the chicken katsu deluxe entree & The Don beef bowl with rice. Both were cooked fresh to order and very tasty. We kept our drinks to tea and sodas, for a group of 4 the meal was reasonably priced. The overall atmosphere $$ ,was mild and calm. A good place for a good meal.”

“Coastal, frozen yogurt is a perfect place for a sweet treat after a day on the beach. My friend and I happen to wander in because I was craving ice cream, and it was lovely. I'm lactose intolerant so I tried their dairy free coffee ice cream, which was just OK. I felt like it was a little bit on the sour side, but I think I should've just sucked it up and gotten the real ice cream. My friend got the vanilla honeycomb ice cream, which was honestly incredible. The sugar cones were also great, and I really liked the drip catchers that were included. The prices were reasonable, and they have a wide selection of flavors. Their dairy free options probably aren't the best, but if you are amenable to dairy, they have a great selection.”

“What a gem! I love La Fruteria! They have great food and drinks. I always try to post up near by them. I love coming early mornings to get a good spot and get the breakfast sandwich and iced coffee. It’s some great stuff. You will not regret eating here. Check them out”

“I've come here for a while. Love the French fries. I notice a lot of people comming from the beach waiting for their bus or train orderering a a couple of orders of French fries. Only negative is the prices a few years ago were awsome now expensive. Me and friend recently ordered cheese burgers and ordered one order of French fries. Bill was over 40 dollars so much of that old time diner.”

“My family & I have been coming here forever (since I was a kid). It seems that my whole life, my mom had purchased all her Boars Head cold cuts here. You would think no one can get cold cuts wrong, but add to it that there is no attitude or airs or haughtiness or the famous Rockaway cliquiness in here. I've ordered the whole ball of fresh mozzarella many times. It's excellent. I am shocked at how good the meat sauce is in their fridge. The young woman who checks you out at the cashier is always super friendly. It's refreshing & very normal. Other spots in town are notorious for attitude & shady behavior, but not here. What a pleasant experience to trust the quality & service in here our entire lives. It's about time that so said it in appreciation for my super thin sliced salami! Thanks for your service & mannerisms!”

“Great local place to have some grub and drink a few beers while watching a ball game. Cozy place especially in the winter when the fireplace is on. The owners are great people and they have a very friendly and helpful staff. The loaded tater tots and dumplings are great for apps. Jamo burger, steak tid bits and the flat breads are awesome for entrees. Enjoy the frozen's during the summer months. 25 years in this business is nothing to sneeze at. They are definitely doing something right!”

“I’ve never done a review before, but me and my partner had an amazing time here tonight. Just stopped by to have a couple drinks and a snack before heading home. The server, I’m not sure of his name but he was a server in the front section by the bar Wednesday around 8pm. He was incredibly knowledgeable of the wine list and knew all the details about the food we were served. The food runner ran thru each item on the food. Just incredible service. The server picked a fantastic wine I wouldn’t usually go for. The atmosphere was fire. Food 10/10. Recently moved to the area and we’ll be regulars now. Couldn’t rate this place higher. Oh and I also want to mention my partner called ahead and didn’t catch the host, but they called her back in like 1 minute and managed to squeeze us in. You’re running a tight ship!”

“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! “I LOVE Ishi so much... This was my favorite omakase experience in NYC! Brought my parents here for their anniversary and their first ever Omakase.The ambiance is lovely. “I’ve been coming to Rolo’s since they first opened and they really never disappoint. The food just gets better and better. Everything is amazing but my hands down favorite is the shrimp. I’d say it’s easily some of if not the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. The whole menu just compliments itself from the Calabrian chili butter to the wagyu steak. Also, Sitting in the back of the restaurant is such a cool experience because you get to watch the chefs work their magic on that wood fire grill. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in NYC and in my top 5.”

“After having enjoyed Bersi's eye-poppingly large platters that feed 3-4 people for $20-60 in total, not even Ras's lunch special ($18 bowls) seemed like a good deal. I did prefer the collard greens at Ras over Bersi's though. (Too bad I didn't try the injera at Ras for a comparison.) All that said, I did enjoy the Bole Bowl: the crunchy soy crumbles were a fun textural element, and the avocado injected creaminess into the mix. The Temaki they serve is great for a 2 bite situation, making it really easy to share between 2… if that’s your thing.To be honest, coming here and getting the classic & signature is just as $ as getting delivery sushi, maybe a bit more expensive but it’s worth it. High quality ingredients & thought out flavors.Personal favorite temaki is the XO scallop.The whole entire restaurant is gluten free by the way, so that might win a lot of people over.The interior & vibe is definitely for a certain demographic and will become aged out within maybe a year or two. The interior is on the same note of that Tend instagram dentist place, and that’s not a compliment. The music they play reminds me of what they would play at like a retail store.Dietary restrictions: The entire restaurant is gluten free & can help gluten intolerance with their meal.”
