“Made a quick pit stop here to refuel. This is ideally situated 1 block from bike path. The coffee options are plenty. We did not try any food as we just finished brunch in Sheepshead Bay.Grabbed my dose of caffeine and sat outside on the bench. The day was sunny and street was quiet for 1 pm. Was able to use the washroom upon request.The staff was friendly and also allowed another cyclist to bring their bike indoor. Will definitely come again & try the energy balls…”

“Best Chinese food in Rockaway. The delivery is always super fast, half the time I can't believe how quickly they made it here. Sometimes the food is too hot to eat! Everything is always fresh and delicious. My go to Chinese food place for sure. Always a good experience and a tasty one too!”

“Great take on Lu rou fan (minced pork and rice), excellent scallion pancakes and awesome dessert (Tian miantuan) that was like a sandwich of sweet fried dough, golden sesame ice cream and condensed milk (plus cilantro and butter dried peanuts)! Great beverages as well such as the slightly sweetened Jasmine iced tea and Sanzo (lychee & calamansi) sparkling water products!”

“I’ve been coming to Rolo’s since they first opened and they really never disappoint. The food just gets better and better. Everything is amazing but my hands down favorite is the shrimp. I’d say it’s easily some of if not the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. The whole menu just compliments itself from the Calabrian chili butter to the wagyu steak. Also, Sitting in the back of the restaurant is such a cool experience because you get to watch the chefs work their magic on that wood fire grill. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in NYC and in my top 5.”

“If you happen to be around Brooklyn and have about an half hour or an hour to spend, I would definitely recommend this place.It's close to the subway.This is a very eye opening place to visit if you are interested in dashi in general. The store has variety of dashi for you to try (also vegan options) and also allows you to create your own, which is super fun and educational.They have a lot of imported japanese products + meal, which could be a bit pricy; however, consider you dont have to fly to Japan to get them, they are acceptable and worth try at least once.The atmosphere is super nice. Nice lighting/furnitures and everything. The staffs were also super informative and could help you in a lot in making decisions toward unending dashi ingredients.”

The Temaki they serve is great for a 2 bite situation, making it really easy to share between 2… if that’s your thing.To be honest, coming here and getting the classic & signature is just as $ as getting delivery sushi, maybe a bit more expensive but it’s worth it. High quality ingredients & thought out flavors.Personal favorite temaki is the XO scallop.The whole entire restaurant is gluten free by the way, so that might win a lot of people over.The interior & vibe is definitely for a certain demographic and will become aged out within maybe a year or two. The interior is on the same note of that Tend instagram dentist place, and that’s not a compliment. The music they play reminds me of what they would play at like a retail store.Dietary restrictions: The entire restaurant is gluten free & can help gluten intolerance with their meal.”

“Welcome to Birria island. Delicious well seasoned marinated beef Birria. I had the grilled cheese and dumpling. It was E V E R Y T H I N G!! What a immaculate taste. Service was amazing. Ashley took her time while assisting me and Evenin recommended her favorite dish. She was super sweet. Overall I'm extremely satisfied that I gave this franchise a try. It was totally worth it.We started with the Antipasto plate, then went to the vegan pasta bollente pizza, what I didn't realize at the time came with a pretty spice chilli, and finish with a bread pudding slice.We also had a couple of cocktails, which made the bill a little pricey, but if you didn't have drinks, it would be pretty affordable.The Antipasto plate was a great addition to the meal.The meats were scrumptious and the accoutrements added exactly what you would want for a antipasto plate. $24The Patata bellente was really good but if you don't like spicy food, steer clear of this one. I thought the potatoes would help subside the spice, but it was still very spicy. If you like spice this is the one for you. $18I can't remember what the bread pudding cost or even seeing it on the menu, but it was outstanding!!! Not to sweet, not too bready, it was just a bit of joy with every bite.Id definitely come back, and not just for a special occasion.”

“I just cannot get over how good the katsu is. The chicken katsu curry has to be my favorite in the city by far and has been since they opened. It's hard for me to find time to go here, but it's such a genuinely rewarding meal, and i'm happy to sacrifice the place being open daily for the love and time that seems to go into everything there, from the in-house food to the curation of snacks and drinks. The portion is absolutely enormous, bigger than any ive had anywhere here or abroad, and the quality is astonishing. It's just so good.Cool shirts too :)”

“Otis is a go-to staple in the neighborhood that I bring all of my guests to! I haven’t yet had a dish I didn’t love. Most recently, I visited with someone who wasn’t so sure about mussels. Otis has one of the best mussel dishes I’ve ever had; the mussel-questioner left with a new outlook on how good they can be. Burrata is also a go-to favorite. The bread is made in-house and so delicious…. And the cocktails are fabulous too! The staff and service is the cherry on top. Big love to Otis!”
