“We visited casually on a Saturday night and it turned into such a fun night! We knew they only serve beer or wine which is fine because the vibe they strives for is chill, laid back and catching up with friends. The owner Rick was so friendly and showed great customer service. They had a variety of beers to choose from which was great. My favorite thing and I know anyone who drinks beer will appreciate is how damn cold the beer was! Kudos for getting that right! Just picture an ice cold beer on a hot summer Saturday night, perfection! It is in my neighborhood and I will definitely recommend to anyone for a super chill vibe, hang out spot.“
“If you're in queens and want authentic Brooklyn pizza come to this place I'm not even kidding,I took a bite of the pizza and right away my wife said "it tastes like Brooklyn pizza"And sure enough the origins of Sofia are from Brooklyn! I usually drive to the other side of Brooklyn to Bay ridge to get this quality of pizza now I can save myself the trip!great customer service! I had a problem with my Caesar wraps thankfully the manager took care of the problem.“
“100/100.The food at this restaurant is another level.I have never had fish as good as here. It's just that not even in Spain.Everything was very good. The only drawback I found was the music. It was too high and in the end it was annoying. But otherwise, everything was perfect. They have high chairs.“
“Mussette in Harlem is a wine bar that truly understands the art of hospitality. From the moment I stepped in, the customer service was stellar—attentive without being overbearing. The Women’s History wine flight they offer is not just unique but also a testament to their commitment to inclusivity and celebration of diversity in the wine world. And let's talk about their charcuterie boards—absolutely sublime! The selection of cheeses, dried fruit and nuts paired perfectly with the wines we chose. But what truly sets Mussette apart is the warmth and genuine passion of the staff. They made our evening unforgettable, offering insights and recommendations that enhanced our experience. If you're in Harlem and looking for a cozy spot with exceptional wine and hospitality, Mussette is the place to be.“
“While the restaurant has closed they are operating as a food truck. Please check their Instagram to see their daily location. Lately they have been in bed stuy. This review is for my visit over the summer. We went on a Sunday and received the following: seafood mac n cheese; hot honey oxtail sliders; blueberry cornbread and the Cater 2 U which has salmon, shrimp and crab cakes. No complaints on the food, the portion size or the customer service. Everyone is always nice. I've only met the male owner during my visits and he is the best! Sad to see the restaurant go but happy to see that they are still making food. Definitely check them out when you can.“
“My favorite Mexican seafood spot in town. Their camarones sarandeados were perfect. Their aguachile verde was from heaven with the perfect amount of heat. The fish tacos are great but everything else is much better.Kicker, I’m sober and love mocktails-the virgin michilada is by far the best I’ve ever had. All in all the staff is the cherry on top, they are attentive and friendly.Being from the Pacific Mexican community, you feel so far when in New York. For a mere moment you will find yourself on the beaches of Sinaloa. Honestly, I’m already plotting my next visit always.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp up to dining hall.“
“I was eying this place ever since moving into the neighborhood and I finally visited when family came into town. The place held up to my expectations I can see why it is always busy. The staff is friendly, we did not wait for a table, and everything was served in good time. For food we did steak, salmon, lemon potatoes, and calamari, everything was so so good and the portions were big. I will definitely be coming back“
“This is true Japan. Real Japan. A modest restaurant of the highest quality. A small space on a side street. This is authentic Japan. There are two tables and a counter - 12 seats total. The chefs are right there. The server too, all are soft spoken and focused on their craft. The food is... The food is... The food is so good. So, so good. The sashimi melted, balanced with the spicy thing. The mazeman incredible, full of umami and flavor. The ramen healed my soul :)Do me a favor if you go... Eat, enjoy and leave. Be efficient... Be respectful. Be Japanese. It's a small space, they're too nice to move you along, but c'mon, allow them to serve more people and make more money“
“I loved Sup Thai Kitchen! The atmosphere, the service, and the food were just all an A+. The food came out really quick and they were all super delicious. The menu has so many good options to choose from and the desserts were a great way to end the meal. They have really good boba too! Definitely a new favorite!“
“The dishes at Thirty-Seven Lane are very rich and varied, and the vegetables are very fresh. The beef is recommended to be hand-cut beef. It tastes great. The crabs are still alive and delicious. The waiter Xiaokai is great. My friends and I are very happy to have the meal. Thank you San Lane 17“
“Really nice place. Felt very welcome from the moment we walked in! There was a short wait as they were fully booked. We were sat on our table and our waiting Andre! He was amazing ! Answered all our questions and even game some recommendations !Corn bread ? the best I’ve ever had. And Andre even gave us a couple extra! ??Food overall was really good ! Chicken was brilliant!Rum punch is a must. Complemented our meal nicely ?I will ? % come back next time I’m in New York!“
“Cap't Lou is my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Great food, crowd and ambiance. The owner, Raymond is such a humble and generous host with a welcoming smile. If you haven't tried the food, I highly recommend doing so...you'd love it!! ?“
“Our experience at NR, was mostly positive. The Japanese fried chicken appetizer left us underwhelmed, lacking that special touch. However, the chicken soup curry stole the show with its amazing taste and generous portion size, making it a preferable choice over the ramen.Speaking of ramen, while it wasn't bad, it didn't quite justify making a special trip here for it. There are other spots in the city that excel in ramen. On the bright side, the service was excellent, and the ambiance had a charming speakeasy vibe, evoking the essence of old NYC.Overall, NR is a great spot to visit with a date or friends, offering a delightful experience with standout dishes like the chicken soup curry. However, if you're solely craving ramen, you might find better options elsewhere in the city.“
“Finally! A good quality Kosher dairy restaurant in greatneck! Although it’s called Dagim they have way more non fish options than you’d think a restaurant specializing in delicious sushi and fish would have. Everything was amazing. I never had fish that fresh in my life. Service was good the ambiance made you feel like you were dining somewhere in Manhattan. Definitely will be coming back to Dagim!!!Vegetarian options: They had great pastas to choose from, the appetizers and salads were greatKid-friendliness: I had to bring my baby, although we were a small group, they made sure to give us a table big enough where a stroller would fit and we would still be able to dine comfortably“
“Highly recommend this place. Good food and drink selection. Must try their pork belly and rose tteokboki. Also, they have a variety selection of Korean traditional, high quality, craft drinks. Cozy atmosphere allows you to have an intimate date night or great time for friends gathering. Definitely will come back here and the service was very excellent.“
“This is one of my favorite spots for Greek food in Astoria and loved getting the chance to experience it for Valentine's Day. Amylos was offering a set 5 course menu and being a foodie, I loved tasting all of it. The ambiance was also amazing, filled with balloons everywhere and the soft scent of roses lingering in the air. A romantic spot made even more so for the occasion. Highly recommend.“
“We went late night and really liked the food, beef, lamb, squid skewers were all very flavorful but not overly spicy. Draft beer was very good. It took a while to get out ramen stir fry, but it was pretty tasty! The lamb skewers are pretty big, so don't order too many at first “
“The hospitality here was amazing and the food was cooked quickly and very well. You choose your seafood, pay and get a table. They’ll bring the items, and you tell them how you want everything cooked. We brought our own wine and were offered a bucket of ice to put it in, and they always checked our table to clear empty plates or see if we needed anything else. You can pay with card but I’d suggest bringing cash for tip.“
“The best Thai food in NYC, and I’m NOT JOKING! Service is amazing, provided by servers who are upbeat and willing to make a conversation and advise. Food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Please do yourself a favor and order fish and som tum Thai! It is the best salad you’ll have, spicy and crispy ♥️?? p.s. Thai tea is an absolute DREAM ✨“
“Adrienne's NYC is a culinary gem nestled in Broad Channel, Queens. It never fails to dazzle with food and gorgeous views of the water! The ambiance, decor, and service makes the experience unforgettable. I have had the pleasure of attending both dinners and events at Adrienne's Restaurant and it's consistently EXCELLENT EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.The menu is unique with melt in your mouth choices. One favorite: Bolognese with a rich sauce that transports you to Italy. And, save room for dessert because Colleen's cheesecake is legendary! The owners are on site and active in service. This is a true oasis so make reservations for a special occasion or an extraordinary meal; you will be satisfied from start to finish!“
“This place has great food. The service was awesome, too. Parking can be difficult to find, however. What makes this place stand out is the waterfront views you get. The food items we ordered to try here were the spinach and artichoke dip, fried chicken sandwich, and a grilled chicken wrap. Everything was excellent. The dip had great flavor. My favorite of these 3 items was the fried chicken sandwich. Loved how it was prepared. But everything we tasted we would recommend. We had a fun time hanging out here.“
“This Place is great! Food is delicious and tasty. We got the Beef Pares and the Beef Mami. The beef pares is really tender! And bone marrow that comes with it is also delish. Garlic fried rice is amazing. My suggestion that would make this Beef Pares perfect, is adding some kind of vegetable, on the side, to help cut through the savoriness of Beef. Perhaps some Garlic steamed bokchoy, or some atchara, or even just some tomato cucumber salad. Also, maybe giving the option for just plain steamed white rice would be great too, since the sauce of the Beef Pares is so delicious and you would want to pour it all over some plain white rice.Beef Mami- perhaps some crunchy chicharon toppings on top for extra oomph!service- greeting your customers as they walk in, would be great. Since there isn't a sign that say "seat yourselves" at the door. The setup of the restaurant and the vibe of the place definitely is for a "wait to be seated" kind of dining. A Simple Phrase such as "welcome, for how many people?" would not hurt. Acknowledge the presence of customers coming in; otherwise, they will be clueless and would feel unwelcome.Iskrambol- love it! I was really excited to see it on the menu!“
“Had the green chili pepper fish and braise beef noodles. The fish dish has a good variety of ingredients included inside like tofu, mushroom and some veg, not sure if opting for sea bass was a good choice for us but the soup was tasty! Although it's slightly pricey, it's a huge serving. So value is good! The waiter is also attentive and helpful.Kid-friendliness: High chair and kids cutlery“
“Tino's is great but they need to find a better way to stagger reservations so they don't make people wait an unreasonable amount of time (with a reservation), and so that diners don't feel rushed because they're taking up space and people who are waiting to die are on top of them. Food is fantastic, the octopus is a must order. The one tip I'll give is to make a reservation and call 1 hour prior to confirm, and maybe call again to 30mins out to let them know your ETA. Otherwise expect to wait 30mins even with a res“
“I thought dim sum palace was the king of all dim sum, but I was wrong. Asian Jewels is my new to go to dim sum. Clean, noisy and damn good fresh dim sum. Get there earlier or you will be waiting for a while to get a seat and driving might be a nightmare in the afternoon since it is in flushing Queens. Again, this is only for dim sum review, I don’t know about lunch or dinner but if it is as good as their dim sum, I don’t think you can go wrong. Price is a bit higher for plate of dim sum but this is nyc, what did you expected?“
“The Szechuan cuisine scene in Flushing is unparalleled! The "Water-boiled Beef" is incredibly tender and flavorful, while the "Crispy Eel Shreds" offer a delightful crunch and aroma, perfect for pairing with wine. Their "Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs" and "Pea Shoots" are excellent choices for rice accompaniments. Plus, the servers, affectionately referred to as "rice bowl wizards," provide excellent service and make you feel right at home. Can't wait to return for another round of culinary delight! ??“
“This omakase did not disappoint. Each piece was flavorful and melt in your mouth delicious. We didn’t add any a la carte pieces and left feeling perfectly content. Note that this is a tipping establishment so per person a dinner course will run approximately $165.“
“Four of us dined. Three had the ribeye, medium rare, and they were delicious. One had the filet mignon cooked medium. It was overcooked, no pink, and tough. Loaded baked potato and asparagus were fine; nothing special. Chocolate torte and warm butter cake desserts were good. The service was fine; waiter was pleasant. Overall though, prices versus the actual quality/taste received were a bit on the high side.“
“Right off the bat, the customer service is friendly and upbeat. Which is not the norm at Jamaican restaurants. Everyone knows that lol. So that stands out.The jerk chicken rice and peas oxtail gravy is my go to. Atleast 3 times this week . The portion is plentiful for the price hence why I keep going back . Taste is on point .I also tried there wings . Very flavourful . They have a few selection of flavors , I tasted the honey garlic ??. I plan on trying the rest .“
“Great HH option in BK! $1 oysters, small but tasty. Drinks also strong and affordable option to get a nice snack and drink in. The atmosphere/vibe is great too.. there is a back patio and even seating out front. Came in as a walk-in right around 645pm to squeeze in HH and got seating right at the bar.“
“Love it here! My husband and I have been twice since discovering it a month ago. The food is really good. We’ve tried the curry goat, curry chicken, jerk chicken, and stew chicken so far. My favorite dish has to be the jerk chicken plantain cups. We also tried the culture clash and the rum punch which were both great drinks. The owner (Mo) is awesome, he’s such a friendly guy and we were engaged in conversation with him the whole time we were there on our first visit. He has great experiences to share if you have the time.“
“What a great hidden gem! The food is great and extremely fresh seafood! The ceviche mixto was flavorful and great portion to share. The highlight of the meal was the dessert, homemade ice cream that was creamy and unique! Will definitely go back!!“
“Had a gathering today w approx 30 family and friends, the food from start to finish was beyond SUPERB, they truly deserve Zagat rating. The fried calamari was better than Greece stated by my sister in law who was there in September, antipasto, appetizers, fish, chicken kabob on skewers were tremendous we couldn't get enough we were licking our fingers. I personally would rate them at 10, the owner Jenny is a gem. Will be back to try their grilled Octopus.Parking: Private parking lot in back of building, not a long walk if you know how to park at least 20 cars.“
“4.5 overall. A decent sized place with a bar (no liquor license yet, but they're trying for it! BYOB until then) and games to play. Lots of metered street parking. There were 8 of us (a couple of us carpooled) and we did not have trouble finding parking. Since there were 8 of us, we were able to try almost all their dishes! The bathroom is large and beautifully decorated florally. Mimi (the co-owner with Chef Shane) was informative and attentive. She helped us decide portion sizing and answered any questions we had. The water comes infused with citrus, adding a refreshing taste. We all opted to get other drinks as well. I opted for the Calico Calpico. It was balanced with the sweetness of the calpico and salted rim. Did not taste much of the oolong tea, though that is a lighter flavor. Must gets: The Golden Crab Bao was loaded with tender snow crab stuffed into a crispy bun. The creme fraiche and yuzu tobiko add a lovely balance. The Roasted Bone Marrow came with soft toast. Gotta eat it quick while it's still hot! The marrow was delicious and went well with the toasty but soft bread. There is a little bit of meat still on the bone for those who enjoy gnawing on bone! The Fresno Gouda Cornbread had a nice kick from the jalapeno. Perfectly crispy outside and soft inside. The Chicken and Mochi Waffle is a great twist on a classic dish. The salty and sweet soy garlic maple syrup went well with the crispy chicken and toasty squishy mochi waffle bites. I love how shareable this dish since it's bite sized! The Rice Noodle Rolls were flavorful, soft and chewy. Just wish I wasn't so full by the time this came out. I would have eaten much more! If you love...then get: The Endives Salad is a little strong with the vinaigrette. It does help balance the bitterness of the endive, but only get if you love endives. The Stir-Fry Peashoots was a big portion! It stayed pipping hot and was flavorful. I love pea shoot and this is a great version. The Mala Tots have a strong tingly kick, which can be cooled down with the delicious dip. I just wish there was more dip! The Charcoal-Seared Scallops is buttery deliciousness. It was seared perfectly. The pickles helped balance the richness. The Pork Ribs were fall off the bone tender and had a good little kick from the gochujang. The melted mozzarella went well with the spice. The sweet potatoes are on the side. Can skip: The Milk Bread is a bit small in size. Wish they were bigger so I could really taste the fluffiness. The honey butter is a tasty addition though. The Salmon Seaweed Crisp is a decent portion size. Fresh seafood atop a crisp with the wasabi crema hidden beneath (which I couldn't really taste). The BLT Fried Rice was loaded with bacon and tobiko. It felt more like a sticky rice than fried rice, but that is probably from the baconnaise and soy-cured yolk. Not a texture I am expecting with fried rice. The Pork Belly Wrap had cripsy pork, a few pieces of lettuce (we requested more), a tasty peri-peri dip, and pork rinds that was break your teeth hard. Besides not being able to eat the pork rinds at all, the dish was forgettable. Desserts were hard to judge since we were so full and only had a bite: The Asian Pear Sorbet was chilled and sweet. Nicely presented. The Persimmon Cake Roll wasn't too sweet. Not memorable though. The Milk Tea Pudding was super sweet, but did have a strong bergamot flavor. It was a looser consistency than expected. Wet wipe given at the end, which is great for those who opt for their boil or burger (neither of which we ordered, but would be interested in trying!)“
“The all you can eat tableside service was phenomenal and very much worth the price. Our host Hasin as well as the entire staff of meat carvers and wait staff were very attentive and always available even when the restaurant was very busy. Definitely coming back.“
“I remember from years ago that the soft shell crab was good, I don't remember what else made me bookmark this place to return. My partner loves his branzino fish. I had the skirt steak, it was tender, flavor was decent. The service was top notch. I will be back.“
“Just checked out Hamido Restaurant in Astoria, Queens, and man, was I blown away! The vibe? Cozy and welcoming. The service? Quick and friendly, making you feel right at home. But what really matters - the food. Went there with my french friend, they are known to be picky about the food - even he loved it a lot. Every bite was a perfect blend of spices and freshness, making it hard to pick a favorite dish. I liked branzino, babaganush was great. Calamari wouldn't be my first choice, but they were ok, even french fries were good. Also, check out the mint lemonade, it's amazing. Good place, recommend.“
“I have been to Flex Mussels many times; however, disappointed in the service. I believe our waitress came to the table 2x (1x to take our order and the next to grab the check). Only after the check was delivered, the waitress walked by 3 times, waiting for a tip on $300 without really doing much. She also seemed very upset to be working. I love Flex and will be back, but I hope the staff remembers service, ambiance and care of your customers are just as important as the food.“
“We have had dinner at this restaurant several times. The environment is very tasteful, the service is very good, and the various dishes are very exquisite in workmanship. We highly recommend this place and will stay here again if we come back to New York.“
“Went here on a whim when our original plans fell through and we had an amazing experience. The food was all so good everything from the salad and pita to the bbq fish and taojine. Definitely felt more local. Not packed but a good amount of people. A bit pricy but that's seafood for you. Will definitely be going back.“
“My absolute favorite Greek restaurant! They have several locations, but I like the one in Bayside the best because I find it's not as crowded as the other ones. The parking here can be a little tough but there is a municipal parking lot about 3 short blocks away and you can also take public transportation there, it is about a block away from the Bayside Long Island Railroad station. Try their steak its my favorite, but I also recommend the octopus, and their fish is always fresh and delicious, but you really can't go wrong with anything you get here. This place is always super clean, the service is always great and they pour a great drink. Now, this is an edited review from my original because i just had to mention Arif, who is the general manager. When you meet Arif you will understand why this place is so great. The guy makes you feel like family and makes sure you have a top-notch experience. Well done, Arif. What else can you ask for! My advice to you is stop reading this review and get your a** over there! Enjoy!!Parking: There is a municipal parking lot about 3 blocks away“
“The food was all delicious, there was not one thing I didn’t like here. The outdoor seating had a beautiful garden scenery and there was heating so we stayed warm while the outdoor temperature was freezing. I highly recommend eating here, and Diego (one of our waiters) gave the best service. 12 out of 10.“
“I was visiting the Flushing area for a concert and wanted to visit something near the Airbnb. This is a wonderful location which is very authentic within the area. I kept it simple and ordered fried rice, and there was so much food. I had leftovers which stretched two more meals. The inside environment is casual and simple. The service is phenomenal. Easy access and a wonderful experience.“
“My recent experience was exceptional, thanks to the outstanding service provided by Daria. From her warm greetings to her attentive care throughout the meal, every interaction was a testament to her professionalism and dedication. Highly recommended for both delicious food and impeccable service.“
“In my opinion the best Indian food in the Kew Gardens area. The chicken vindaloo and garlic naan where great. My wife and I also tried the lamb biryani, which was to die for. The owner is friendly and my made our afternoon even better with his excellent and personal service.“
“My experience was the best. I always order online but i came in store tonight and I must say I’m very happy I did. Amarie is the best! Keep her ! Her customer service is A1. Also Shevaun was very helpful in helping us choose our food. You have a great team. Thank you and keep up the good work. Can’t wait to come back.“
“It's one of my favorite hotpot restaurants. $22.95 all you can eat. They serve many types of vegetarian food, such as different types of fresh vegetables and tofu. If you are a vegetable lover, this is the hotpot restaurant you like. They offer discount parking if you park at the Queens Crossing indoor garage, but you must ask them to stamp your parking ticket.“
“My first impression of this Hot Space restaurant is their staff is very friendly and willing to answer your questions. For a first time visitor, that's definitely helpful. When we ordered the food, the waitress patiently explained what are the menu and what are the dishes they are known for. She even suggested the spiciness, and warned us the extra ingredients might ruined the perfect flavor. The restaurant prepared the food in the kitchen to maybe 95% done, and then sent the grilled fish in a tray on a stove to our table. The server told us to wait a few minutes for the flavor to fully sink in.We got the strip bass with the golden combination. The fish was grilled just right. The skin was crispy and easily separated from the meat. The meat was at an excellent tenderness. Under the fish were the golden combination ingredients we ordered. They added ample spices to create the flavor and sauce to dip the fish into. After the meal, we overheard that the restaurant doesn't do takeout. I think they want their diners to enjoy their dishes at the best quality. Takeout orders simply can't do justice.“
“Good food, with mostly hits and a couple of misses. Really good were the baked clams, mussels, stuffed artichokes, Veal Marsala, and linguini w/ clam sauce. The eggplant parm was burnt and the sole oreganata was soggy. Be prepared to be requested to leave when they are busy (we were, while we were still drinking our coffee)Nevertheless, I would still go back.“
