“I don't throw this around often, but this was easily one of the best tasting menus I've ever had!!! I’m not even gassing it. Flawless, no misses, no notes! Every course was creative, beautifully executed and packed with flavor combinations I never would've imagined.

Tucked in the back is an intimate chef's counter serving a seven-course tasting menu. Watching the chefs work right in front of you while every course is personally introduced makes the entire dinner feel like a story unfolding course by course. Some of my favs: The Lox, Chicken Wing, Pork Collar + Olive Oil Cake.

“A wonderful Yemeni restaurant .. great people… great food… and the big circle bread: the rashoosh. They have the fahsa, they have the kibdeh, and of course they have the haneeth but they also have Yemeni favs that are not usually found at other restaurants: shafoot, Sana’a kebab, and roti bread! But my fav.. that rice. Hands down the best rice I’ve had in a long time! A def must try!“

I had chicken tenders, my mom had fried shrimp ,we both had with sweet potato fries that had a slight syrupy taste which were amazing, we got hush puppies and calamari to split..both great..we ate and still have plenty left for a full meal.. also have a seperate full bar, frozen drinks, tv's etc service was also great ..I definitely recommend ...oh and great prices“

“Em Vietnamese Bistro has been on my list for a while, so I finally got to check it out! At first, the interior looks like you are walking into an office, not a restaurant; I had to do a double-take to make sure I walked in the correct door. I made a reservation for 6:30pm on a Friday, but the restaurant wasn't full at any point. Since the space is small, you are seated close to other people at peak dining hours.

My friend and I both got the Bun Thit Nuong ($17) and we shared a Cha Gio ($11). The spring rolls left a lot to be desired, both presentation-wise and taste-wise. For presentation, the rolls would benefit from a smaller plate with a more curated selection of vegetables. The huge romaine inundates the dish, and we didn't end up eating it, so it just seems like a waste. Flavor-wise, the rolls were on the plain side, which do not justify the price. After that appetizer, I was pleasantly surprised by the entree. The pork was cooked and flavored well, and I gorged myself. Everything tasted fresh and refreshing! I also think for the portion size and the area, the price is worth it.

Service was good in the sense that they did not rush us, but we had to ask for everything, from getting someone to take our order to asking for the check. The Bun Thit Nuong was the highlight, and I would eat it again if I was in the area!“

There are so many restaurants in NYC, but Strange Delight is one you genuinely do NOT want to miss. From the food and drinks to the service and hospitality, everything about our experience was phenomenal.

We started with the Old Fashioned and Vieux Carré, and both drinks were outstanding. For an appetizer, we ordered the smoked fish dip — and WOW. Absolutely incredible. It was so good that literally the two tables next to us ordered the exact same thing after seeing ours, and we were all raving about it together. That says everything!

Then came the crab dirty rice and the blackened swordfish belly. Jesus. 🤤 These dishes were incredible. So damn good, packed with flavor, and completely worth ordering. I honestly can’t recommend them enough.

The service absolutely deserves five stars as well. The staff was attentive without being overbearing and was there for us every step of the way. They genuinely helped make the entire evening feel special.

But I have to give an extra and very special shoutout to Geri, the General Manager. The biggest reason I wanted to give this restaurant credit beyond the food and drinks was the help I received before we even arrived. I was trying to reserve a specific time because I wanted to make this a special birthday date for my partner, and Geri went above and beyond to help make it happen. She was incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had the experience I was hoping for.

I cannot thank Geri and the entire staff enough for all of their help and for making the evening such a treat.
Great food. Phenomenal drinks. Outstanding service. And truly exceptional hospitality.

“Probably my favorite dining spot in Greenpoint. I absolutely loved the atmosphere, the fish shop connected to the bar, together with the outdoor garden dining area, gives the whole place such a unique and relaxed feel.

We came without a reservation and didn’t have to wait at all. We sat at the bar inside, which turned out to be a great experience. We had oysters, a lobster roll, fish tacos, and a few drinks, and absolutely everything was delicious.

My personal favorite was the lobster roll. I honestly just wish I could come back more often. It ended up being my favorite meal during our time in New York City, and I’ll definitely revisit every time I’m back in New York.“

The ambiance is perfect - energetic, while still being able to hear the person across from you, the service is excellent, and the food is the best meal I've had at a restaurant in a long time. It was impossible to choose between the specials and the classics, but everything we ordered was perfect. My one and only complaint is that I selfishly wish it was in Brooklyn Heights so I could pop in for a drink more often!“

“Had dinner at Rosticceria Brooklyn last night and it did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly roasted, juicy inside with crispy, well-seasoned skin. We got the focaccia on the side, which was soft and pillowy with a great olive oil flavor.

Everything felt fresh and made with care. This is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot you want in Brooklyn. Will definitely be back!“

Half a dozen oysters, two jumbo shrimp, a half pound of fried calamari, heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella, plus some blood orange sorbet. 0 indigestion or stomach issues, would gladly gorge on the invertebrates here again.“

It started with a flower that exploded our taste buds through all the variety of sea creatures and sea plants prepared various ways to a light but scrumptious bread pudding and ice cream made with 3 waters. All the dishes were presented like works of art accompanied in artistic dishes. It was most definitely a wild to table experience. Highly recommend. (only allowed 10 photos. Their service was also very nice as they were kind and explained things when we were lost on the menu as there’s a lot to choose from, whether it be snow crab, lobster, yesterday, clams, they’ll definitely treat you with the utmost dining service. I was having an absolutely horrid day and my friend recommended me this place for the $1.50 oyster happy hour (TILL 9 PM) and let me tell you I went in feeling awful and heavy yet left feeling light with the biggest smile on my face. The service and especially the bartender Jill was so friendly, warm, and inviting. I got 12 oysters and a cocktail for ONLY $30!!!! Not only was it so affordable, it was DELICIOUS!!!! The oysters came with this tequila mignonette and spiced cucumber sauce that I need put on every single oyster menu NOW! For my cocktail I got the hibiscus margarita (two of my favorite things) made by Jill the bartender and that spirit lifted MY spirits. “We held our engagement dinner here, and I’m not kidding you, my Turkish uncle said it was the best Turkish food he had in the United States… The wait staff (Emine hn, Safa) are extremely warm, welcoming, attentive. The New York takes on classic Aegean dishes in the menu are to die for. “Excellent food and service. I went there tonight with my family and it was awesome The food is fresh and comes out delicious and plentiful for all of us. Our waitress “Caterina” was friendly and prompt with our food. I told her I didn’t eat fish so when my family ordered clams & sauce, she put the dish on the other end of the table and brought me a rice ball special - which was delicious l. She was very fast with replacing the empty plates and periodically asked us if we were OK. One thing I really like about this restaurant is that it is wheelchair accessible. No steps or uphill ramp- the whole place is flat. Caterina was very helpful also by helping me transfer to my seat and she put my wheelchair in a safe spot out of the way. I highly recommend this place!!!“
