“For us, the food was hit or miss. Right from the start, the Sardine toast was the star of the night, then there was aRazor clam special, which was 50/50... the clams were great, but we didn't prefer the melon taste to the dressing. After that, we had the mortadella and sourdough. Both were very good. Ate that we had the snap pea salad and the mitake mushrooms with garlic fudge. Again, both were excellent. It was the mains that just fell apart for us. The bucatini had slices of squash on top that were dry, and a bit too much basil, which overpowered the dish. Other than the basil, it was lacking in flavor. The other main was the hake and risotto. While the risotto was heavily citrussed, almost too much so, it was still tasty, but the fish, again, lacked flavor/ seasoning/ salt. Overall, the meal was a 3.5, but we bumped it to a 4, because worth the omission of the mains, it could have been a 4.5-5.“

“I don't throw this around often, but this was easily one of the best tasting menus I've ever had!!! I’m not even gassing it. Flawless, no misses, no notes! Every course was creative, beautifully executed and packed with flavor combinations I never would've imagined.

Tucked in the back is an intimate chef's counter serving a seven-course tasting menu. Watching the chefs work right in front of you while every course is personally introduced makes the entire dinner feel like a story unfolding course by course. Some of my favs: The Lox, Chicken Wing, Pork Collar + Olive Oil Cake.

“A wonderful Yemeni restaurant .. great people… great food… and the big circle bread: the rashoosh. They have the fahsa, they have the kibdeh, and of course they have the haneeth but they also have Yemeni favs that are not usually found at other restaurants: shafoot, Sana’a kebab, and roti bread! But my fav.. that rice. Hands down the best rice I’ve had in a long time! A def must try!“

“Wow!!! Very impressive, everything fresh, delicious & huge servings. I had chicken tenders, my mom had fried shrimp ,we both had with sweet potato fries that had a slight syrupy taste which were amazing, we got hush puppies and calamari to split..both great..we ate and still have plenty left for a full meal.. also have a seperate full bar, frozen drinks, tv's etc service was also great ..I definitely recommend ...oh and great prices“

There are so many restaurants in NYC, but Strange Delight is one you genuinely do NOT want to miss. From the food and drinks to the service and hospitality, everything about our experience was phenomenal.

We started with the Old Fashioned and Vieux Carré, and both drinks were outstanding. For an appetizer, we ordered the smoked fish dip — and WOW. Absolutely incredible. It was so good that literally the two tables next to us ordered the exact same thing after seeing ours, and we were all raving about it together. That says everything!

Then came the crab dirty rice and the blackened swordfish belly. Jesus. 🤤 These dishes were incredible. So damn good, packed with flavor, and completely worth ordering. I honestly can’t recommend them enough.

The service absolutely deserves five stars as well. The staff was attentive without being overbearing and was there for us every step of the way. They genuinely helped make the entire evening feel special.

But I have to give an extra and very special shoutout to Geri, the General Manager. The biggest reason I wanted to give this restaurant credit beyond the food and drinks was the help I received before we even arrived. I was trying to reserve a specific time because I wanted to make this a special birthday date for my partner, and Geri went above and beyond to help make it happen. She was incredibly professional, responsive, and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had the experience I was hoping for.

I cannot thank Geri and the entire staff enough for all of their help and for making the evening such a treat.
Great food. Phenomenal drinks. Outstanding service. And truly exceptional hospitality.

“Had dinner at Rosticceria Brooklyn last night and it did not disappoint. The chicken was perfectly roasted, juicy inside with crispy, well-seasoned skin. We got the focaccia on the side, which was soft and pillowy with a great olive oil flavor.

Everything felt fresh and made with care. This is exactly the kind of neighborhood spot you want in Brooklyn. Will definitely be back!“

Informative service with a smile, clean bathrooms, avant garde jazz, and old world woodworking that can only be found within antique palacial estates build by master craftspeolle can be found at this location.

Half a dozen oysters, two jumbo shrimp, a half pound of fried calamari, heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella, plus some blood orange sorbet. 0 indigestion or stomach issues, would gladly gorge on the invertebrates here again.“

“Every dish at Greenpoint Fish & Lobster was on point. The west coast oysters were so good that we ordered them 3 times! The crudo and tuna tostada were refreshing and a great way to start our meal. Octopus salad was my favorite dish, loved the olives with it. Lobster roll with butter (not mayo) was great too. Fries came crispy just how they should be. This is definitely a place to go in a group so you can try several dishes and flavors. Servers were friendly and helpful too. Large wine selection and they let you try as many as you’d like! Only negative comment is that the seating wasn’t very comfortable, but the quality of the food made up for it. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a seafood spot in Brooklyn.“

“Rana Fifteen absolutely blew us away.

A few of us did the Rana Table brunch and we were not prepared. It’s a full family style feast and it just keeps coming. Borek, marinated beyaz cheese, kizartma, artichoke spread, Izmir pine honey with kaymak, soujuk, menemen… dish after dish of incredibly fresh, flavorful Aegean food. All for $35 a person. Unreal value.

“I cannot recommend this place enough! I was having an absolutely horrid day and my friend recommended me this place for the $1.50 oyster happy hour (TILL 9 PM) and let me tell you I went in feeling awful and heavy yet left feeling light with the biggest smile on my face. The service and especially the bartender Jill was so friendly, warm, and inviting. I got 12 oysters and a cocktail for ONLY $30!!!! Not only was it so affordable, it was DELICIOUS!!!! The oysters came with this tequila mignonette and spiced cucumber sauce that I need put on every single oyster menu NOW! For my cocktail I got the hibiscus margarita (two of my favorite things) made by Jill the bartender and that spirit lifted MY spirits. If you are in Brooklyn and need a meal that will leave you happy as a clam (or should I say oyster) PLEASE check out Siren. You will not regret it!!“

“Randazzo’s has been around forever for a reason. We came in about 10 minutes before closing and nobody acted annoyed or tried to rush us. They just sat us down and treated us like everyone else

The oysters were fresh the clams were excellent and the lobster roll was worth every bite. This isn’t one of those fancy seafood places where you’re paying for the atmosphere. It’s real Brooklyn with great seafood good portions and people who know how to take care of their customers.

“I had a great experience at Xiyuehui Hot Pot. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and there was a huge variety of ingredients to choose from, including premium meats, vegetables, and appetizers. Everything was replenished quickly, and the quality was consistently excellent.

The service was attentive and efficient, with staff regularly checking in, refilling the broth, and clearing plates. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and had a lively atmosphere, making it a great place for family dinners or gatherings with friends.

Considering the quality and selection, I thought it was well worth the price. If you enjoy seafood and all-you-can-eat hot pot, Xiyuehui is definitely worth a visit. I would happily come back again.“
