“It’s consistently rated the best restaurant in Syracuse, and there’s a pretty good reason: it’s really, really good. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is nice, and the food is delicious. For the quality of food you receive, it’s also shockingly affordable. 2 entrees, 2 alcoholic beverages, and an appetizer was about $75.00.I would say that’s a pretty great deal for one of the best places around.“
“I lived in Syracuse over a decade ago and I make sure to make a visit to Riley’s each time I make a visit back. The variety of the menu choices is great, flavors are always fresh, and the numbers of desserts are fantastic. It’s a must go!“
“Best wings in Syracuse! We love stopping in for the Salt & Pepper wings full of flavor and cooked to perfection! The garlic Parmesan and Old Bay are winners as well actually any flavor will not disappoint. The bartenders are fabulous whether it's your first visit or 100th. Kathy is one of the best and takes excellent care of all patrons! They have live music most evenings.“
“Went to this place for the first time this past weekend and I’ll definitely be back! The women bartending was very attentive, and pleasant! Glasses, bar, and the entire place was clean—and the atmosphere was comfortable. Now to the best part of this place…THE FOOD IS AMAZING!! I met some friends here around 8-9 Saturday and was starving. I ordered a cheeseburger, dirty rice and baked Mac and cheese. All of these where amazing!! The food was good quality, serving sizes were more than enough (had some to take home), and everything I got tasted amazing!! So happy I found this place! I will definitely be ordering here when I need to pick up dinner for my family….and I suggest everyone else stop in here too.“

“This place was absolutely fun! The workers were awesome! And even tho I wasn't really hungry, I did have their french fries and they were delicious! And I got to play Ms Pacman! I hadn't played that arcade game in over 40 years! It brought back wonderful memories of how I met my late husband :)Kid-friendliness: Even tho there is an open bar (adults have to show ID's) this place is very kid friendly as arcade games surround the room.“
“Tried to famous wolf's den Sunday brunch! They post what they are making weekly, so check it out before making your reservation. It's all prepared and ready to go as soon as you walk in, including your 2 brunch cocktails. It's clean, neat and organized. I loved the Crème Brûlée French toast & getting to try a few different salads, like the tabouli, and different desserts in a much more relaxed atmosphere. The servers were super kind - bonus, the bathroom had two open toilets which my sisters and I loved, LOL.“
“Super awesome spot for our kids and family!! We really loved the upstairs play area with a bunch of kid toys in the corner, our daughter did not want to leave! Super fun to also be able to watch any sports game on the big TVs. My all time favorite part of Harvey’s is the outdoor area which is so awesome to hang out in the warmer months.“
“I’m writing this responding to a poor review. First of all, this is a neighborhood bar. Some might call it a dive bar, and if you’re the kind of person who understands how neighborhood bars work, then you know that you want certain things from that bar.Guilfoil’s is a gem. You walk in and find a spot. You wait your turn at the bar, and maybe that takes a few minutes. You pay cash because that saves money. The beer is cold and cheap, the whiskey pours are generous and cheap, the food is tasty and cheap. The jukebox plays the widest variety of music and nobody complains when you play your favorite song. There are sports on the TVs, and maybe a dog at your feet looking for a treat. This is exactly what an Irish pub is like. If you’ve traveled, either in the US or Ireland, you know that the Irish pub is a refuge, but not for the persnickety. It’s on its own time, and in its own place. You adjust to the Irish pub because you know that’s how it should be.I go to Guilfoil’s because they are happy to provide that brief respite from the rat race. It’s a slower pace, but that’s what I want when I’m there. People are friendly when you talk genuinely with them and who could ever want more from a pub?“
“We only had drinks here so I can't honestly rate the food (though it looked and smelled very good). The atmosphere is fantastic and the bartender was excellent, recommending Underground Beer Lab, which was amazing. We're definitely stopping here again when in town.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs at all and the bathrooms are easily accessible for anyone with a chair, cane, or walker.“
“We had such a wonderful experience in this hidden jem, and that is an understatement! The concept is something everyone needs to try! It's great for family and friends! The food was really, really good, and I am one with a lot of food restrictions, so to find such a place is even more exciting! The staff was friendly and professional. THIS PLACE IS A MUST!!Dietary restrictions: I am GF, no beef, pork.“
“Love a good dive bar. This has a great crowd and ambiance. The vibe was perfect. Music loud but not too loud. The wings are good. Probably Top 5 in Syracuse but definitely not #1. Would love to go back here. Love the fact that the one thing updated here is the TVs. Great spot to watch a game.“
“Ate so quick I didn't have a chance to take a picture. Must go if you need/want a burger. For the price, it's a GREAT place to come grab food and have a drink (especially when it's nice outside and you can sit on the patio). Food service is quite fast even when the line is long. *only CASH but they do have an ATM ($2 fee).“
“So many options for all different diets including a full vegan menu! The atmosphere is very down to earth- great for an adults night out or there’s a small play area for kids. Service is outstanding, above and beyond.Vegetarian options: An entire menu of vegan offerings in poutine and burgers as well as appetizers“
“We wound up here by accident. We were trying to go to a restaurant down the road and found out it was carryout only so we found Attilios! Our Server was lightning fast and very attentive. The food portions for the price was great. And just the fact it was hidden in the corner of an apartment building but had a very chic modern look but made you feel like you were 5 star dining. Overall a really good experience and would definetly recommend.“
“Phenomenal Event thanks to Asil's, where Emily and Lisa ensured our party was a success. We held our birthday event in their banquet room and guests were so pleased, calling it "a hit"! They were so attentive as event coordinators, responsive to our guests at the bar, and made the most outstanding delicious dishes that our guests kept going up for more than one serving!! I'm so grateful and highly recommend them over any of their competitors. Asil's is a class act who knocked it out of the park and made this birthday party a memorable, fun time. (Order the riggies!!)“
“our waiter was amazing and funny, even at the end of a long night, and the food was so fresh and amazing! not to mention the mocktail an aloha mini combo and cajun fries split between my boyfriend and I left us absolutely stuffed and happy :D thank you!!“
“Interesting and friendly local bar...rolled in there alone from out of town...ended up hanging out with an interesting mix of locals (a college professor, an Irish guy, a professional couple and an immigrant from South Sudan)..no food, just a great place to go and meet and chat with nice people...And Ashley, the bartender, is really sweet.“
“Really good brews and some unique food offerings. Kinda big and cavernous, but I think that's the industrial vibe of the venue. Parking is free in a nearby lot.Parking: Lots of space but not directly adjacent to the venue (there's a small field in between).“
“This place is awesome. I was here around 5PM on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all. The bartender was amazing. He asked us what we liked and what we didn't like and made each of us our own individual cocktails. They were all great. Outstanding service. Outstanding selection of liquor - they have EVERYTHING - including Pappy. The ambiance was electric. Old school, leather couches, dimly lit, with a pool table around back. Just an awesome place to grab a drink or several. If you don't like crowds, I'd suggest going a little earlier in your night because I was told by the bartender and a couple that walked in that it can get very crowded later at night. What a great spot though - I'll def. be back.“
“First time dining at LM Social. We were served quickly at the bar, seated promptly at our table and service was great all throughout the meal. We ordered two appetizers for the three of us along with dinner entrees and dessert. All were fantastic! Our server was very accommodating and friendly and I look forward to going back again.“
“Brunch is always the answer. The question? Doesn’t matter LOLRolled up here with one of the kiddos for a college visit and thought how could we go wrong eating copious amounts of food off of boards? Two people with two boards was PLENTY! I would recommend hitting this place up with a group to be able to try more and just eat more in general bwaaaa! I’m a fan of randomness on a board! I enjoyed the variety…we had the breakfast poutine and the griddle board. I think I would’ve like some sort of meat board in my life…but opted for a sweet and a savory board option. Nothing was overly amazing or terrible, I enjoyed the concept!Cute spot and they have some tables outside as well. Could see coming after work with some friends or having a girls outing!“
“Colemans is the hub of the Irish neighborhood Tipperary Hill. If you're coming to Tipp Hill, this should he your first stop. The food great. The beer is green in March. The entertainment is great. There are plenty of places to get drinks. If there is a big event they usually have other food trucks there too.“
“This place is truly a gem in the Syracuse area. We recently had a birthday party here and it was perfect. The owner, Pete, couldn’t be nicer and was incredibly accommodating. He wanted to make sure we had the perfect day and it was nothing shy of just that! I very strongly recommend the clipper tavern for a causal happy hour, a place to watch SU sports, a place to throw a party, and any/everything in between!!“
“A fun little bar when I got there, passing the microphone to the next in line as we all sat there are the bar singing the song we choose.Typical Karaoke singers, some good, some not, but ALL Welcomed when it was their turn... and applause for everyone who sang.A VERY mixed crowd that grew quickly as the night went on till the bar room filled. Then they opened "The Theater", a room the same size as the bar room, behind the back wall of the bar.Theater has a good stage with the DJ stand in the back corner, bench seating down both sides with bistro tables, and three rows of theater style seating in three raised tiers at the back of the room.I didn't eat but they have food.Great bartenders kept up with the drinks all night, even when the place got full, and the pool table stayed busy all night.“
“We had such great service at Tullys, N Syracuse Angelina knew the menu well and could recommend great drinks. She was also very friendly we will be definitely coming back next time in town visiting family. The chicken tenders were so good too.“
“Absolutely one of, if not the, best bar experience in Syracuse. If you want to watch cable news, or a sports game that's on every bar in town, then this may not be the place for you.If you're interested in live music, culture, theater, art, jazz, or interesting people talking about interesting things, then this is absolutely the place for you.Such a great vibe, such a phenomenal ownership team, I cannot recommend spending a night at the night drop enough.“
“One of my favorite bars in the area. Food is much better than your typical townie bar and they have a more than decent menu. Good number of taps and prices are fair. Nightly specials and live music sometimes. Plus, I respect a bar with free popcorn.“
“Fantastic food and drinks at great prices. If you have a good head for alcohol and want strong, well made drinks, the bartenders can't be beat. We had a birthday party there and all the other customers were so friendly and fun. It was a most memorable night.“
“Today my son John Woodward took me here for lunch. It was my first time eating there, and I ate the fish and fries and oh my gosh it was awesomely good and took one home to hubby and he loved it! We will definitely go back and maybe get the steak sandwich!! Everybody was also friendly!“
“Newfys is great. Nestled just off the beaten path it's a small little tavern but it makes up in character. Shannon or Nate behind the bar treat you more like family than a customer and are extremely accommodating. I had a blast every time I've been in there and the drink concoctions they muster up are excellent. This last weekend was topped off by a visit here. The icing on the cake if you will.“
“I just came from there. The place is outdated and dirty. The floors were gross. Made me wonder about the kitchen. The ladies bathroom door is rotted on the bottom. Air conditioner is old and barely works in the dining room. The people working there do nothing but chat. I was told my check could not be adjusted because the register locks and no one has a key. Where is the manager? Who is running this place? The food such as Cavatalli was over cooked, pasty and grease puddled in the bottom of dish. The potato skins were dry with no flavor. The cherry peppers had cheese all over them. Not what we asked for. The receipt showed an extra charge for that cheese. Open steak was good very good. I just do not think open face is what it should be called. The bread was so tiny underneath the steak, it was ridiculous. Came with three tiny onion petals? Also not what I call worth putting on the plate. Even the garnish was old and yellow on the plate. Just close the dining room. Stick to pizza and the bar. 62 years and nothing has been updated or cleaned. It was a disgrace to go there and see such filth and laziness from what staff you do have. You open at 4, no reason the floors should be nasty by 5pm. Try cleaning before opening. I would not want to work there. I DO NOT RECCOMEND IT WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO SAY ANYTHING ELSE.“
“Another over looked and under appreciated bar. From the outside you'd never know what a gem this place really is. I stopped in on a whim by meeting some out of the ordinary acquaintances but I will say what a blast. I happened to enjoy myself and my company quite well. The bartender was so friendly and made tremendous drinks. She was so welcoming I think I'll go back again very soon.“
“Loved the orange clove iced latte I got, and they had some great pastries too, I think I tried an almond bar. Once I accidentally ordered something I thought was coffee, that also had raspberry tea in it, so taking a sip of that was just kinda like...confusing during that first sip lmao. I have delayed processing so menus with very little info confuse me. So I just asked the barista "What am I drinking rn?" But it was an interesting drink and a new experience that I enjoyed.“
