“5 stars is a lot for a counter order clear your own table breakfast spot, but this one deserves it all. The music funky all the way, the art also super funk, the waffles pure fire! The three of us had a banana Nutella waffle (full) , a banana bread waffle with blueberries & walnuts 1/2 waffle, a vegan egg & cheese sandwich, and a full chicken & waffle with real maple syrup. My husband was super skeptical but left with a super happy belly. My kiddo was happy, and this mama loved it all so much. We walked in and didn't know to go to side two to get in line to order (menus on the counter at the front of the line) you grab your own table silverware, napkins and get a little buzzer for when your food is ready. You clear your own table at the end and again I can't say how good the flavor profiles were for all of our choices. Bonus there were tons of vegan options and the prices were very reasonable and you can even get two 1/2s of different waffles so go sweet on 1 savory on the other = best of both funkadelic worlds“

“If this place were open during better hours, I like to think I would have been here a dozen or more times. Their menu is full of unique, high quality offerings and everybody knows it. So many things I'd absolutely love to try, and some day I will. Every year we vow to try the candidates for the Best Burger contest from the NY Beef Council, and every year, time passes too fast, things come up, we don't have money to spend, or we just forget until it's all over. This year we finally got in front of it and tried the Crooked Birria burger for this year's contest, and threw in a Billy The Kid from the weekly special for good measure. I love everything Birria, and was super excited to see this burger coming from one of the best burger places around. I think maybe the excitement and high expectations might have tainted the experience, but it didn't seem to fit together as I had dreamt it. You can't really tell where the shreddy meat ends and the burger begins. I think it's seasoned with Indian spices, I would guess Garam Masala. Definitely a taste of cinnamon, and some other spices within that vicinity I don't have the literacy to pinpoint. The birria dipping sauce was extremely salty, and I liked the burger better without it. Loved the burger, loved the meat - crookedness and all - but the two things didn't really stack. Billy The Kid was actually the better of the two. Topped with an amazing pile of bacon, onion jam, goat cheese, and chipotle aioli sauce. Same top notch burger, same thick cut bacon we've seen on other burgers. Despite all the sauce, it was lacking in flavor until we added salt. The salt brought the flavor of the sauces to life and made this our favorite burger of the two. Before this, we hadn't been in since 2022... I think to try burgers that had won the previous year's contest. I wouldn't call them the best, but for sure on par with the other known greats in the city. If I could make it back, there are a slew of things on the menu I've been dying to try, but it's always been so long since I've been that I can't pull myself away from the burgers. Check their Facebook, because they do extend their hours for events and things but that also means it's going to be super busy.“

“Every time I've been here, it's been Eh.What you're paying for vs. what you're getting does not match. The portions are small and quality is just OK. I could see getting the same meal the Pastabilities and getting double the portion for a few dollars less. Also, dining experience and level of menu knowledge at other restaurants in the area is much higher elsewhere - for the price you're paying. I want to love it, honestly.Reservations: Getting a reservation would be made a lot easier if they would open up an online option - it's a hassle to have to wait to speak with a human.Experience: We went at 5pm on a Saturday night. My sister and I both ordered salad entrees that were about $26. Mine came on a side bowl/plate and was an extremely small portion. We both ordered salmon and each piece of salmon was a different color. Mine was white/very light pink and my sisters was very pink and fresh looking. I almost mistook mine for chicken before cutting into it. Not the end of the world as I understand appearance can vary from fish to fish - just seemed a little 'fishy' (off).Service was OK - nothing to shake a stick at. Basic and nothing over the top.Ambiance was eh. There appeared to be Top 40's playing the entire time we were there, which was odd being it was a Saturday night.Overall, just Ok. I had a gift card that I actually forgot for this visit (gah!) so will probably just give it away or order take-out.“

“This is a phenomenal venue for a bridal shower. My bridal shower was held there in April 2023. The staff was exceptional, making sure all of our guests had drinks, waters, coffee or anything they may need. Asking for my opinions on timing of cake, food, etc. The food was perfect particularly the lemon chicken, even gave us to go boxes at the end. They were flexible with accommodating some changes to their lunch menu as well that we requested. The rooms are well decorated, beautiful mirrors, greenery and exposed brick. Leaving for very little additional decor needing to be brought. We focused on centerpieces and some signage. We were not rushed out at the end while they were cleaning up. They welcomed my fiancé by his first name when he arrived showing that they pay attention to every detail. Even found a surprise gift from them amongst my gifts at the end! If you are looking for a venue for bridal shower I would highly recommend! Thanks for making my day perfect!“

“Tried Nestico's Too today for the first time and will definitely return! They have a nice variety of items to choose from and have something for everyone on their menu. Unlike the main Nestico's restaurant, they're more like a diner, but also have excellent food. It was really hard to decide what to order because there were many items that sounded delicious. I sat close to the counter and was able to see other people's orders and everything looked great. The portion sizes were generous too. I also noticed they had some really good salads on their menu for those like me that love salads. However, I did not order one of their salads. I've decided to try one on another visit, possibly in the summer when it's warmer. Instead I opted for their chicken riggies, which were really tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant and if you're looking for some good riggies, give them a try! Their service was also very good and the kitchen staff is very efficient.“

Great wine selection that won’t leave anyone disappointed. We started with some appetizers: Shrimp bao buns with sriracha mayo and seared scallops with caper-honey sauce. Wow. Then for entrees, we had the short ribs with mushroom risotto - which we think is the best entree of them all. Also we had the cioppino. Very Delicious. I would have only asked for more toast to continue to soak up all the remaining tomato broth! It’s that good. Finally, the desserts are a must. “So delicious! My husband and daughter have been going weekly after dance class and love the chicken. I finally got to go today. The gentleman at the counter remembered my daughter and her order. He even remembered that she was supposed to convince me to visit the restaurant today. So, glad we did. the chicken was delicious. The fries were delicious. The seasoning is amazing. And I loved the coleslaw. The employees treated us and all the other customers so well. I can't wait to go back.“

“Fantastic food and drinks at great prices. If you have a good head for alcohol and want strong, well made drinks, the bartenders can't be beat. We had a birthday party there and all the other customers were so friendly and fun. It was a most memorable night.“

“Went to see Greg Morton for second time. He didn't disappoint. Food was served quickly and also delicious. Bacon potato skins were best I ve ever eaten anywhere. Only one loud drunk trying to get in show. Funny bone employee who was 6'6" spoke to him. No further issues. Was a great night.“
