“From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, this restaurant was amazing. Monroe’s offers a cozy feel, with amazing staff and welcoming smiles. We started out with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped guide us to delicious appetizer choices. I had the eggplant rollatini special and my dad had the clams orreganata. I order items with vodka sauce quite frequently and this was the best I have ever had. It was smooth and creamy with amazing flavor! The homemade focaccias bread was delicious and airy, the perfect piece of bread to soak up the remainder of the sauces from our appetizers (because it was too good to leave a single drop). For dinner I ordered the skirt steak, medium rare. The marinade was sensational, and the skirt steak cut like butter! It was cooked to perfection. Even the vegetables and potatoes it came with were delicious. My dad ordered the penne Ala vodka and added chicken cutlet to the dish. He couldn’t stop raving about it. We were so full after our appetizers and main entrees, but the dessert menu was too tempting. We shared a slice of the raspberry cheesecake and oh my goodness, if you like cheesecake, order this! They make it in house and it was the perfect sweet treat to end our dining experience. I paired it with a cappuccino. Monroe’s doesn’t disappoint, even to the last detail. My cappuccino had a cute cinnamon heart on top. Overall, Monroe’s was truly a delightful and pleasant experience. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all of our friends and family!”

“Returned to celebrate our friends birthday. We had an amazing meal. Appetizers were baked clams , clams posillipo and mozzarella all crazy good. Veal parmigiana and veal Milanese both delicious and basically all the desserts !! Needless to say roll us out.
Forgot the softest fluffy Gnocchi with meat sauce on the side !! Don’t forget them !!”

“I love this place! however my last visit was just mediocre, which was disappointing since I rave about this place and finally brought my parents to try. The fries were soggy, and my parents food was just slightly warm. The waitress Sofia gave my daughter a free ice cream scoop coin which was nice but then we were charged for the ice cream! Also they did away with the gouda fries which were amazing!! they need to bring them back asap! I hate when restaurants take things off their menus that so many people love.”

From our server, to our "Guacamole Girl" to the owner Roberto who came to our table to check in and offer dessert and/or a shot (free of charge), we could not have found a better hidden gem. We will not have to try another Mexican Restaurant as long as 5 De Mayo is around!”

Also, I tried a new drink today and it was a bit too milky for me and the staff happily agreed to adding an additional espresso shot for free. Their service was fantastic, the servers really treated us with care and made us feel at home throughout. We had the malai boti, chicken tikka, Bihari boti, and the chefs special chicken Karahi. Cant recommend these dishes enough. We also topped it off with mango lassi, rass malai, and gulab jamun. Not a single item was underwhelming which is surprising because usually these spots can’t get everything right. I’ll definitely be coming back here :)”

“OMG Tasty House serves some of the best food I've ever tried, I've never had Vietnamese before, I'm such a fan now. The seating area is small and quaint, but the atmosphere is welcoming. Manna our hostess was friendly and helpful. She answered every question and explained the menu items and specials. I had Pho Special and my wife the Curry Chicken, we also tried the scallion pancakes and delicious mango milk tea. Everything was delicious! We'll definitely be returning soon. Thank you so much!!”

“I came here on taco tuesday. The tacos were fresh, had plenty of meat, and were 2.50 each. In addition they provided plenty of lime, onions, cucumber, and sauces on the side, for the tacos, which I liked because I didn't have to ask for more lime or green sauce. The service was also great.”

He dines here avg 3 times a week last 7 years spent more than 10k here he says, but he never orders pizza here. He orders only entree and pasta dishes here. In his 26 years of life, he says this is his favorite restaurant ever. The best penne ala vokda w chicken, penne bolgone, chicken francesse, chicken parm, shrimp alla gino, linguine von gole, etc etc. If he is happy then I'm good because he pays. He says same 4 employees last 7 years and they are like his family to him.”

“Azteca Deli in Westbury is another excellent authentic Mexican restaurant. You may have seem my past posts about other Mexican food establishments in Westbury. I've also reviewed Azteca in the past but all those times I was picking up food. Today I finally stopped by for lunch inside the Deli/restaurant. The sitting down experience totally kicks ass!!! I love the vibes here. Fast paced happy Mexican music called Norteno blasts from the speakers above. The Aztec themed colors and artworks are on the walls. There are gods myth and legends in this place as the very friendly owner spoke to us about less known Mexican travel destinations. The complimentary starter appetizers of sliced cucumbers, radish, and Tortilla chips show off the authenticity of this Mexican restaurant. We ordered Birira Tacos, Pancita (menudo) tripes soup, and a Chucharrone Guisado which is a stewed simmer down deep fried pork served with rice and beans with green sauce. The hotsauces, salsa, pickled onions, and condiments are so good here. We had these $7 huge drinks of Horchata as well as Jamaica(Sorel) very delicious and generously presented.
The festive Mexican music here adds happy touch to the delicious experience.
