Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.”

“This hidden gem is phenomenal all-around!! David welcomed us with open arms and the ambience is very cozy! (the corner round table with the pillows was awesome!) The food was absolutely AMAZING! The specials (eggplant rollatini and the grilled calamari) were creative, the menu items were to die for, (the chicken rollatini and the salmon) and the desserts (pistachio gelato and the raspberry crumb cheesecake) heavenly!! Tonight for my husband’s birthday was so special because of Monroe’s! It was our first time there and it felt like “home.” We will definitely be back! Thank you all for an impeccable job! You have a large menu with fairly good options and the standard bright yellow fried rice that's usually around. The price is reasonable and there are lunch specials and combo options too. Not bad for somewhere to get something quick. It's more a takeout spot but you can also sit and eat if you want to and they are pretty accommodating in that regard. Not a bad option to consider in the area.

The egg rolls were nice and crispy, and flavour full. My father in law said he liked the seafood delight. I liked the dumplings, they were really authentic. My dad said the chicken and broccoli was good, and he used to run a restaurant.
My only issue was the egg rolls were smaller than other places, and the hot spicy beef forgot the beef. It was all onions and peppers...
Despite that they gave us a coupon and over all I would definitely eat here again.”

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality & portion of my beef with broccoli & my chicken with broccoli orders. There was plenty of the proteins and the broccoli was fresh and crunchy. The sauce was perfect (not too salty, spicy) as we came from the hospital so there was no chancing anything that could upset the stomach. We also ordered chicken wings which were made fresh. There was plenty of napkins & sauce with our order. No complaints. This place should have a higher rating.They are the best Chinese takeout place in the area.”

So I decided to order this for my daughter birthday so I order the big popie with as 4 lobsters well what they did was cut 2 lobster in half and large shrimp and snow crab and potatoes and broccoli and corn in the special sauce. Well this was delicious my daughter love it and we also ordered snow crab with corn and broccoli and potatoes in the special sauce wish was all so delicious. I will definitely recommend this place. “Azteca Deli in Westbury is another excellent authentic Mexican restaurant. You may have seem my past posts about other Mexican food establishments in Westbury. I've also reviewed Azteca in the past but all those times I was picking up food. Today I finally stopped by for lunch inside the Deli/restaurant. The sitting down experience totally kicks ass!!! I love the vibes here. Fast paced happy Mexican music called Norteno blasts from the speakers above. The Aztec themed colors and artworks are on the walls. There are gods myth and legends in this place as the very friendly owner spoke to us about less known Mexican travel destinations. The complimentary starter appetizers of sliced cucumbers, radish, and Tortilla chips show off the authenticity of this Mexican restaurant. We ordered Birira Tacos, Pancita (menudo) tripes soup, and a Chucharrone Guisado which is a stewed simmer down deep fried pork served with rice and beans with green sauce. The hotsauces, salsa, pickled onions, and condiments are so good here. We had these $7 huge drinks of Horchata as well as Jamaica(Sorel) very delicious and generously presented.
The festive Mexican music here adds happy touch to the delicious experience.

The steak from the special taco was amazing on its own but with the tortilla it’s flavor was underwhelming. 7/10. In my UNPROFESSIONAL opinion, the food was not all that flavorful nor outstanding given the prices of each taco the food was disappointing but I really love the actual setting and the workers who are extremely patient and kind.
