“Great vibe and the cocktails and dinner were amazing. I had their pasta pomodoro with the best meatball I have ever had.The artichokes appetizer was very good and the wedge salad was fantastic. We ate downstairs and I would tell you that it was romantic, but I was with my son. Let’s just call it intimate. They have a good selection of wine and cocktails, and I tried them both. The server was very professional and cool. She took good care of us and we will be back.I highly recommend this place if you love Italian food. Great experience.Dietary restrictions: The hostess asked us up front.Kid-friendliness: No.Wheelchair accessibility: The dining area was 20 steps and a landing away from the front door. May be able to accommodate upstairs however.“
“Food was good, agree with the comments regarding the small portions. My issue is with the limited menu. Maybe a Chicken Val Dostana dish, or a Salmon Francaise or Chicken Piccata, or a great Porkette, etc. I'm from CT and NY where Italian food and restaurants sets the bar very high. Your pastas are good, luckily I can make similar dishes at home and experiment with more varieties and I would recommend you also offer more options. Even simple ones. Entrees should come w a side pasta and you could get more people to try more of your options. The cold chicken liver mouse and the honey goat cheese bread should be served warm, not cold as an example. I'd love for a place in Cincinnati step up and figure out how to at least get close to what a great Italian restaurant is. Your wine list needs a complete makeover, and needs to be stepped up, charging 4X - 5X for a mediocre "Italian" red wine bottle should be fixed. Happy to chat about options and show you menu options and places to help you make Sotto better.“
“I had an AMAZING time at Boca! I sat at the bar and everyone there was fabulous. Without even asking, they took their time to walk me through the menu and offer suggestions. I ended up ordering the pommes soufflés, the charred leek, the diver scallop, and the maple mascarpone cheesecake for dessert. Everything was delicious, especially the brussel sprouts that were part of the diver scallop, and the cheesecake. The cheesecake was so delicious I think my eyes welled up a bit on the first bite. Everything was phenomenal, from the drinks to the food to the service. I can't wait to be back!“
“Best Service I've had all year. The appetizers and dessert were phenomenal.Full disclosure, I found my penne dish a little dry, but the ingredients themselves were delicious. Do not skip ordering the bruschetta. An amazing meal that didn't leave me feeling gross. Thank “
“Dining in with a Stromboli. Bringing it to the table took a few minutes, because it was cooked for me. And it tasted delicious. The cup of marinara was the perfect size (and perfect taste). This isn't high-brow Italian. This is GOOD Italian. I'll be back.Parking: Hundreds of parking spaces available.“
“I love everything about VV. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The espresso macchiato is perfection in a beautiful teal blue cup. I love to enjoy one in the front window and watch the happenings of Mt. Lookout square. VV is not just a coffee shop though, they also have delicious pastries, sandwiches, meals, and drinks.“
“Omg the food is to die for. I didn't know they had a dress code at 1st and went in my everyday clothes and felt so outta place, so please keep in mind this is a fancy place so dress up like ur going to church. But it's worth it to dress up for the food and everything is wonderful.“
“Rosie’s is everything you want in an Italian restaurant. The staff is attentive and friendly, the atmosphere is energetically charged but still cozy, and the food - omg - the food! The carbonara is unbelievably delicious and the chicken Parmesan is incredible. If you want an all- around impressive dining experience, make a reservation at Rosie’s.“
“Here is my Favorite Gelato spot in Cincinnati. It has everything; The location which is a few steps from the Findlay Market which I tend to go frequently when planning to make a nice dinner, they have great service, the chill ambiance and of course the delicious gelatos. One of the main reasons I always tend to stop on this one is because they normally have Pistachio flavored gelato which is a big must for my wife and the other besides of my favorite flavor (cookies and cream) well there actual Ice cream cookies which are amazing! So amazing that I couldn't take a picture of it, BUT! if you look at the pic with the different flavors, they are are the bottom right corner. Definitely need to try them. If you haven't tried this place, give it a try, it wont disappoint.“
“FIRST: If you loved the mushroom bisque from Palomino, THEY MAKE IT. It is just as rich and fabulous as you remember. Oh sweet joy! Overall, I loved it. Another fantastic offering from the locally owned Thunderdome restaurant group. I just don't know how they do it. Each of their offerings is unique and tasty and they hit the mark, again! The atmosphere is upscale and comfortable. Tables are not too close together and we were able to laugh and enjoy a great dinner with friends on a Thursday night. We made reservations, but they weren't too busy so we probably could've walked in. We were seated in the bar area which was perfect for our mood. They also have a gorgeous dining room that looks cozy and comfortable. There's a covered patio that offers year around dining and honestly, when warmer weather rolls around, that patio will be packed. Drinks are on point and delicious. If you enjoy a tasty old fashioned, you can't go wrong with the Davidson Old Fashioned. The espresso martini was beautiful to look at, but I felt like the serving was kind of small (likely just the visual presentation). But It really was a work of art. One of the people in our party does not drink and opted for an n/a mojito (we lovingly call the fauxjito) and said it was perfect. For dinner, we were all over the place. We shared the eggplant which was prepped table side. We were thinking it would be more smokey, but it was not. It was okay. We also had the hamachi and that was excellent. Next course. The salads were generously sized, you could easily share. We ordered the roasted vegetable salad and it was excellent as well as the mushroom bisque which I previously mentioned. Our friends ordered the green salad and enjoyed it - it was large too. For dinner, my husband and I shared vodka rigatoni and it was sooo good. The pasta is prepared al dente and has excellent texture. Our friends ordered the vongole (which they said had good flavor but did not like the texture of) and the cannelloni (which they said was excellent). Price-wise this restaurant is not over the top. Given the absolutely incredible service we received, the delightful drinks, and tasty food, it was worth every penny.“
“A very enjoyable dining experience at VV as has been the norm. The food was excellent as was the service, all within a pleasant upscale white-table cloth atmosphere. The only minor disappointment in the evening was our two Sgroppinos. I have ordered them for about 20 years at Nicola's and VV, and they may have changed the recipe - reducing the amount of grapefruit sorbet, creating a more alcoholic, more "watery" drink rather than a delightful unique slush like dessert. Or may just have been a one-off error. I will order one again to see.“
“There's certainly a reason they've been around for so long....... everything we had was amazing. I'm not sure why we waited so long to try it, but we're glad we went. The pasta is hands down better than anywhere else in town. Service was top notch. We had a fantastic evening celebrating.“
“Stopped in for a late lunch around 2:30. I had the tomato basil soup and house salad. Hubby had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and wedding soup. We split a slice of limoncello cake. Serve was friendly, informative, and attentive. Our drinks were always topped and he stopped by just enough to check on us. The tomato basil soup was so flavorful! Creamy and just a touch sweet. The house dressing on the salad was lemony and delish. Hubby’s soup was savory and full of good things. The housemade pasta and sauce were delicious. Creamy and garlicky without being too strong. That limoncello cake was so good, we got a slice to go!“
“This is one of the best pizzas you can get in Cincinnati! Fresh ingredients and I am allergic to pizza sauce so I get garlic butter brushed on the crust. Other pizza joints won't do that for you, but Italianette has NEVER questioned my request. ❤️❤️❤️“
“First time stopped this year after Festival of Lights at the Zoo to pick up a take out order. Late 8 o'clock one hour before closing around 12/21 the holiday season. Late in the evening and holiday season the Staff were still super friendly and chatty in a neighborly way. Friend from DC area with is asked to watch the Caps hockey game, order take out, had some drinks. bartender went to a lot of effort to track it down. Took home a detroit style pepperoni. Everyone loved it. Friend from DC remarked if he lived in that Neighborhood he'd be dropping a lot of coin and spending a lot of time in Taglios :)Parking: City parking. Across the street and within close walking distance Reasonably priced pay for lots and free street parking in some areas.“
“Had dinner at Subito on Saturday night and Gina’s service was exceptional. I was there with two girlfriends, and she provided great recommendations and was a pleasure to talk to. The Short Rib Campanelle was awesome. The food / wine and atmosphere were good and we really enjoyed ourselves, but Gina made our experience.“
“One of the best places to go for dinner in the Cincinnati area. Great service, pasta is incredible, and I highly recommend the braised short rib. Good options for vegetarians also. Only slight down side is the dining area feels congested wrt how close tables are to each other.“
“Fantastic Italian restaurant! It was interesting that they make most of their pasta noodles themselves. We started with the arancini di riso appetizer which was absolutely delicious. One family member had tagliatelle bolognese and he devoured it in no time and almost licked the bowl. Another member had the gluten free tagliatelle bolognese and she said it was great. Gnocchi was the choice of another member and she really loved it. I had bucatini amatriciana which was unbelievably good. Then for dessert we shared the tiramisu and vanilla crème brûlée. Oh my, they were fantastic! Our favorite was the tiramisu, but both were excellent. I had a contratto sour to drink which was very good. I have never had one before so I can’t say how authentic it was, but I enjoyed it. The host was very friendly and took us to our table right away. The server was amazing. She knew the products very well and was able to tell us what each product was. She also never let our water glasses run dry! Even though she had a handful of tables, it felt as though we were her only customer. The manager talked to us several times as well as every other table in the restaurant. We didn’t have any problems but I’m sure she would have taken of them. Everyone in the restaraunt was very friendly and very welcoming. I highly recommend this place!Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free pasta and was very good.“
“The food was good as usual. The guys working the line were efficient and friendly and helpful. It was on the busy side when we were there.I will remark that the line and food was pretty messy. I imagine due to it being busy but it is worth noting.“
“We recently attended a private "pop up" dinner here. The home made pasta dishes were absolutely delicious and the best pasta that I have experienced outside of Italy. All meal courses were wonderful and unique. The chef has a true gift. The service was friendly and efficient. We will definitely return!“
“Wow! This place! Lived here 6 years and can't believe we've never been here before. When our big family walked in, we were immediately welcomed with a warm smile and open arms (literally!) from the owner who promptly combined tables to accommodate us. Our server was equally as welcoming and kind. Everyone loved the food (my chicken was a little over cooked, but I loved the place so much I am willing g to give it another try) and we will definitely be going back.“
“Doordashed from here. Pepperoni Piada Stick (There's only one per order), Basil Pesto and a Blackberry Hibiscus Lemonade. The lemonade was elevated. ? They sell it by the gallon. Buy it! The pesto was filling, and the portion size was hearty. The pepperoni stick was a little soggy, by the time I got it, but I could tell it was tasty and cooked well when it was fresh. I'd say give 'em a shot.“
“I'd like to thank our server, Ella. She was sweet as can be, and the best server we could've had. Really. She was really fun with my little cousin, she smiled the whole time, and just had a very upbeat attitude. She made our experience really memorable, just because she was so kind. She put a smile on all of our faces! Not to mention, The food was great too, and I was very happy with getting a root beer. The chicken gnocchi soup was so good too, really hot and filling. It was such a a good experience, I just had to write about it.“
“I am a customer for more than 6 years.the waiters are so friendly the food is never change(delicious)since i knew them.that is my favourite place to go with friends and families.Trust me if you will go one day you will be a permanent customer“
“Probably the third best NY style pizza in Cincinnati. The sauce and crust were both very good! Cheese was ok and I thought there was a bit too much garlic, but that’s just a personal preference. The biggest downside is the price - $28 for an 18inch margherita is a bit steep, especially compared to the competition. Overall though it was a solid pie - will be back to try their Detroit style pepperoni + hot honey, which seems to be their signature.“
“The space is beautifully decorated and gives a cozy feel. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess and felt right at home. The dinner was great. The sauces were very flavorful and the presentation was beautiful. The menu is simple with some classic recipes to choose from. We didn’t try the pizza this time but the selections seemed intriguing (next time). The prices are fair. The food is great. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun.“
“This Carrabbas location always seems to do it right every time. Tonight was excellent, from our wine all the way to the dessert. The service was spot on, our waitress Colleen was wonderful and super helpful, she really went above and beyond to make sure we had a memorable Saturday night out. There's tons of nice happy hour choices too. I cant recommend this place enough.“
“This place came highly recommended to me on a recent trip to Findlay Market. I just wanted to try something different and was curious about the brown butter sage sauce. I asked one of the employees what he would recommend to go with that sauce and he said normally it would be a ravioli they were out of but he also recommended the spinach noodles with it so I tried those. I asked for whatever size serving would be big enough for two and what I got was more than enough when we made it at home. The dish was super creamy goodness and I just kept coming back to it. They make all their own pasta fresh and it is absolutely worth checking out. I plan on going back and trying more things in the future.“
“I always order online and never come in store. Today I ordered in store and my experience was amazing. The young lady that rung me up was amazing. She was so happy that it made me happy to be there. I loved everything about my visit and of course my pizza was amazing.“
“It's been well over a year and was craving something from there. I got Lasagna and Chicken Parm and split themeal between two and still needed a d)Vegetarian options: They have labeled options on the menu. I'm positive that you can probably change the order to suit you.“
“Visited Scotti's for the first time last night for dinner. The atmosphere is incredible. Old style Italian American. Low lighting and very romantic. I didn't remember our server's name but I will try to get it so I can request him again. The service was perfect. Started with some bread and got some olive oil to mix with parmesan cheese for dipping. The bread was soft, fresh, and a great opener. The minestrone was rich and full of flavor with al dente pasta shells. Ordered a side of meatballs. The red sauce was excellent - not too acidic and lots of flavor. The meatballs were huge. The texture was awesome. The meat was extremely soft and just fell apart when you cut into it. The taste was great with there a good amount of garlic. I ordered the Fettuccine Ala Guido and had them add shrimp. The Alfredo was creamy, buttery, and the best I've had. The portion was huge - I wasn't able to eat even half. My wife ordered the Cannelloni Speciale. The filling was awesome, pasta was perfectly al dente, and it was the same great red sauce as on the meatballs. I'm so glad we got both dishes so we could try each other's. Did dessert we got some tiramisu and cannoli both were excellent. My wife generally doesn't like cannoli but really liked theirs. Without question we will plan to return, and I strongly recommend you try them!“
“We had a fantastic lunch everything was prepared well the service was friendly and very attentive and the atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable I highly recommend this locationVegetarian options: Soup and salad is always a good option“
“Food was good, but service was great. The restroom needed attention. Food was pricey considering the price of pasta, but was really good for entree. Had Tour of Italy and Seafood Pasta Alfredo. The Tiramisu we took home. Portions were good too.“
“Me and my 6 kids come in here once a week. It’s so nice having a place to go that we can all agree on! Food is great, kids meals are affordable. Staff is always very friendly and patient with the kids. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: Always kind to the kids. They love being able to place their own orders.“
“Our experience at Al Posto was amazing! This was our first time and we were very excited to try it. We had the scallops, spaghetti and meatballs, and the Orecchiette and it was all incredible.. especially the scallops. Cory made the recommendations not only for the entrees but wine and dessert which we also loved! Overall wonderful experience.. will definitely be back.“
“Love this place! Discovered it one rainy afternoon when I wanted to take a break from traffic. My dad would call this place a “red restaurant,” because of the decor, the lighting and the booths. In reality, it’s a “red and green restaurant,” with Italian flags and maps aplenty (don’t miss the map in the ceiling of f the main dining room).Service is excellent. I like the bar area, “Enrico’s Taverna,” which had some friendly neighborhood locals when I was there.I’ve come back here three times in recent weeks - it may be my new favorite restaurant in Cincinnati. The wedge salad was a delicious. I also recommend the lasagna and the Mama T’s Italian sausage pizza.Bonus: their own parking lot, with about 12 spots, including accessible parking for wheelchair users.“
“We have been trying to dine in person for years, a series of unfortunate events has prevented this. It was worth the wait! Our server Justin was great; on point food descriptions, walking us through the menu, keeping everything timely, overall a pro. Kyle was our greet and he had fantastic energy. Cole was extremely knowledgeable about the wine list, and I'm sure much more. Mgmt. was visible and touched our table too. Seriously, the food was perfect. We'll be back, cheers!“
