“Brought fiancee for filet mignon dinners and were very impressed with our meals and delighted with the service. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. The fried mushroom appetizer was very good and larger than expected. Our filets were perfectly cooked to order and fork tender and were served with twice-baked potato, fresh salad and dinner roll. Everything was very tasty, we'll definitely be back.”

“I have reviewed a lot of restaurants now. This is my my 4th Brazilian Steakhouse. My first was in Portugal, that place was out of this world. This place has a better atmosphere and the food is just as good. From the salad bar to the pineapple dessert is just amazing. There are of course my favorite meats, but you really can't go wrong trying them all over and over. Its pricey, but we'll worth every penny.”

Who knew the best pizza place in Shawnee operated out of a Love's Convenience Store? I just love, love, love Godfather's Express Pizza! Pun intended!!”

“Tonight was our first time trying this restaurant. We ordered the food to be take out and I went inside to pick it up. The staff was friendly. We ordered the shrimp pasta and then the lobster and steak dinner with baked potato and French fries. I had the pasta, it was full of shrimp that were cooked perfectly. The pasta was also hot and fresh. The sauce wasn’t super flavorful but I would get it again. My fiancé liked his steak and lobster, but they forgot the butter.”

“I was starving. The kind of starving that makes your stomach cry. I wasn’t sure where to go, but the food court caught my eye. Looking at the menu for Mexican, I realized what could satiate my hunger. A burrito. I got one with chicken, beans, rice, and of course veggies. One bite and I was in Heaven. I’m not really a burrito person, but it was actually really yummy !!! The people are also quite pleasant. The lady who took my order was very sweet and elegant and the young man who made my burrito did an excellent job. Impressed with the Grand Casino’s food court. Will be coming back!!”

Server was at my table quickly and took my drink order. Allowed me some time to figure out what I wanted. Took my order quick and efficiently. Ordered the three meat dinner.

Food was out fairly quick. Asked for extra crispy fried okra and it was. Brisket was lean like I like it. Pulled pork and smoked chicken were good. Green beans were kinda bland. Pickles and bread with the meal.

Music was rather loud, which is my only complaint. Taste of food overcame that minor problem.”

Both were great at recommending different flavors that were similar to the ones we liked. They helped us figure out how it all worked and the different sizes. We purchased 4 gallons and a huge Ryan Palmer! My husband and I left talking about how nice and helpful they were and that we would be back because the customer service was impeccable! “From the moment we walked through the door, I would have to say that our experience at this Chili’s location was the most pleasant visit that my husband and I have *EVER* had in a restaurant. No lies, hands down. We were greeted with genuine professionalism and courtesy from every team member we encountered, start to finish. Our service professional was Davin, and he was sublime! He was professional, funny and patient, never “forgot” about us or was too busy for us - which I thought was pretty amazing, considering that every single table in the restaurant was occupied. We received our orders quickly and everything was so well cooked - my husband’s pasta was al dente and my steak and broccoli were perfection. It may seem odd to gush about a Chili’s, but friends, I could not be more sincere. When I looked around, I noticed that the staff were all smiling, moving with purpose, and seemed to be very happy to be a part of this team - communicating with each other on the floor and performing their duties with pride and a fluidity I haven’t seen before. This Shawnee location is special - a well oiled machine and a completely cohesive team! Chili’s is our favorite restaurant and we’ve been to many - but we have *never* had service OR food at the level that this store and staff provided for us.

I contacted the restaurant by Facebook on Easter Sunday to ask if would be possible to take some salsa and chips to take to a life-long friend who is in the hospital in Duncan, Okla. He grew up and lived many years in Meeker, and was a devoted customer of Abuelita Rosa, and loves their salsa. The staff agreed to prepare a special order that I picked up Monday before opening and took down to Duncan as a surprise. Not only did they have the salsa, but also queso, tortillas, chips. It was a great spread and really uplifted this whole family. This simply confirms my already high opinion of Abuelita Rosa!”

Also, they are the only place I've ever been to that gets the balance of the rose and lavender right for the milk teas. (It's tricky to do without it winding up tasting like soap, so definitely a testament to their staff's skills!)”

At times, you will have to wait long for food. But I understand the staffing issues the shawnee locations have. The staff genuinely do their best even in tough rushes.

And once I am having my shake all my woes go away, anyway. Worth the wait.”

Everyone was very friendly, and although I only stayed for about 10 minutes, I had a great experience. I love the egg drop soup. Im picky about egg rolls and dislike them from any places but I find their egg rolls to be very good. Not too oily. The right amount of crispy and a good and tender enough interior.
