“Absolutely WOW experience! For last couple of years that was the best restaurant celebration for us! And we celebrate something at least once a month. Food was fresh delicious, beautifully served. Service was very good. I never ate such a great shrimp tempura! WOW, WOW, WOW! Highly recommend!!! And for you to understand, I like sushi, but not too crazy about it. Sorry, did not take a picture of the boat, with all food on, but we became so crazy about food, and started eating as soon as we get it ;) I took a picture only for you to understand how it looks like and how much food is there! “This is my first time dining in at Minami, I’ve always ordered take out, and wow! Wish I could give this more than 5 stars, I adore Minami so much. Their food is fantastic and so fresh. Service is always kind and not to mention very fast, we were probably in and out within less than 45 minutes.Their (hako) torched rolls are probably some of the best I’ve had in Ontario, can’t wait to come back here.“
“I was looking for something to eat after shopping at the nearby Upper Canada Mall. I felt like like sushi, and found a place on Google with good reviews, so I decided to try it out.Well I am happy I decided to go here. The service was really friendly and welcoming. The food was really good and I enjoyed everything that was ordered.We started with soft shell crab, and tempura appetizers, both were fresh and hot and crispy. For the entrees we got steak bento, and sushi and sashimi combo. I didn't realize the dinner bento came with tempura, so I ate alot of tempura(lol...sooo good). I enjoyed the steak and the sushi and sashimi was really fresh.I will gladly comeback, when I visit Newmarket again.“
“On Family Day, it was my dad's birthday, so we decided to celebrate with his favorite dish, sashimi. Knowing that not everyone in our party enjoys raw fish, we ordered a variety of rolls to create a party tray for takeout. My dad, who is particularly discerning when it comes to sashimi, was impressed by the freshness of the fish. Seeing how much he enjoyed it, I realized that we should come here for sashimi more often with my dad. The other rolls were also delicious, with generous fillings and fresh ingredients, making the overall experience truly satisfying.“
