We almost cancelled because of the snow but thankfully we didn’t because it was one of the best meals we have had in a very long time. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The food is all house-made, authentic and absolutely delicious. Our server, Amanda was literally the best. She was friendly, engaging, funny, knowledgeable and so accommodating. It is so refreshing to go out for a meal and enjoy every minute of the entire experience. Everyone should try this gem- you won’t be disappointed.”

I started with a Caesar Salad that was huge and garlickly delicious. My wife had baked brie which was also tasty. She also enjoyed her Beef Tenderloin but the show stopper was my main. A phenomenal, unctuous and exceptionally tender beer braised beef short rib with mashed and seasonal vegetables. Fantastic!!! Highly recommended!!!”

“First time and Loved everything!! The owner is a beautiful person inside and out, shared so much about her Turkish culture and foods. You have to try the Lahmacun with the hit of sumac, lemon and parsley. WOW!! Flavour explosion! Soujuk is like the tastier version of pepperoni! The pizza boat - thin crust like you’ve never seen. Delicious! Kunefe dessert is a must; with their Turkish ice cream! There are bracelets for donation, proceeds going to a Turkish orphanage, and so much good. Thank you for such a wonderful afternoon bite out with my husband!!”

The atmosphere and ambiance was intimate and classy. But let’s talk about the FOOD! Ugh! I splurged and tried the certified A5 Kobe, and it did not disappoint! It was incredibly buttery, tender, and perfectly cooked to temp, I couldn’t get enough. We’ve been to Japan and had A5 Kobe and Wagyu, and this was right up top with the cuts we had there. The sides were nothing short of phenomenal! We also had the sushi assortment with maki, nigiri and sashimi and it was mouth watering. I wish we lived right next door to this place, but I guess it’s better for my wallet that we don’t. If you’re considering eating here, DO IT!”

The waitress who works here, I don’t know her name, but she is absolutely amazing. She is just THE sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She restores my faith in humanity everytime I come here. The food is always incredible, always tasty, fresh and full of flavour. There’s a handful of vegan options, the onion bhajis are my absolute favourite and I have the utmost faith and trust in Prince Of India when it comes to the knowledge of food restrictions, they ask how spicy you want your dish (mild, medium or spicy) and they really do give great sized portions. You even get a discount on your meal when you dine in, which is such a nice bonus. I recommend Prince Of India to everyone I talk to, quite literally. If you’re looking for authentic food, and even further, authentic people, this is the place.”

It was a pleasant surprise to discover Sushi Masayuki, an authentic Japanese restaurant tucked away in Burlington. I had the pleasure of enjoying their Omakase dinner ($140), which included an impressive 16 beautifully crafted dishes, each showcasing incredible attention to detail and freshness.
The quality of the fish was outstanding—delicate, flavourful, and expertly prepared. Every plate was a visual delight, artfully presented and thoughtfully balanced. I also opted for the sake flight ($15), which was a perfect pairing and added an extra dimension to the dining experience.
What truly set the evening apart was the personal and exceptional service. The staff made the experience feel warm and intimate, taking time to explain each dish and engage with guests in a genuine way.

It was a pleasant surprise to discover Sushi Masayuki, an authentic Japanese restaurant tucked away in Burlington. I had the pleasure of enjoying their Omakase dinner ($140), which included an impressive 16 beautifully crafted dishes, each showcasing incredible attention to detail and freshness.
The quality of the fish was outstanding—delicate, flavourful, and expertly prepared. Every plate was a visual delight, artfully presented and thoughtfully balanced. I also opted for the sake flight ($15), which was a perfect pairing and added an extra dimension to the dining experience.
What truly set the evening apart was the personal and exceptional service. The staff made the experience feel warm and intimate, taking time to explain each dish and engage with guests in a genuine way.

“I had what was probably one of the best and most uplifting experiences as a parent to two young kids the other day at Spencer’s. If you have a little one you know it can sometimes be tough sharing public spaces and eating out at restaurants. I was on a bit of an adventure day with my 12-month-old and 4-y/o and wanted a bite to eat. The staff made us feel welcome at every turn. Despite it being a more upscale environment they treated us just the same as any other guest (as they should, but still, it was refreshing). The host staff greeted us super warmly and helped me stow my stroller in coat check and also had it ready for me when we were leaving our table. Our server Ian and his support wait staff, were so understanding and empowering towards my toddler. They spoke to him, answered his questions, and even showed him to the washroom only request since my baby had fallen asleep on my lap while nursing and desperately needed that sleep! They cut my child’s kids meal in half, helped serve the food right to where he could reach it because my hands were tied. I got to eat my full hot meal out in the wild - solo parenting! Imagine! I will continue to choose Spencer’s and recommend it for occasions, and as a family friend locale. Thank you for the bottom of my heart team!”

I saw someone go into Sandwich Station so I eventually ended up there too. Glad I did! Very pleasant man at the counter, the portobello mushroom sandwich was delicious, so was the tomato and basil soup (which came with garlic bread), my husband loved the meatball sandwich, said it was one of the best ones he’s had. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the location, and as a vegetarian I was pleased to see several interesting options available. Also, there are lots of tables if you choose to eat there.”
