The service, food and atmosphere was excellent!I really loved the fact that they had their gluten free options clearly labelled and the food was amazing. The nachos were delicious, the chicken and goat cheese wrap (which I had on a gluten free bun) was really tasty and had loads of flavour. My husband had the chicken tenders, which he said were really nice. I also had a caesar, and Jack Astors always has the best!Can't wait to come back, as always!“

“Went in for the milk fish but it was not available until later that day, yet there was no disappointment. We ordered some cold beers on tap that were delicious and on sale. Then we decided on the pork nachos and a skewer plate. Holly smokes the food was outstanding! I have never tasted a giant pile of awesome nachos prepared that way before. Wow, you got to check it out. The skewers were amazing and that unique Filipino love sauce was all there. We were treated like kings while we ate and drank our faces off. I am so glad we dropped by early in the day, by night there must be a line up to get in there. Yes, it is that good. I can't wait to get back and hit the rest of the menu and damn certain to get my share of the milk fish. This place is a GEM. Limited in space, so choose your time wisely.“

We were there luckily on a Thursday night and they had a live jazz band performing from 530-830, which was an unexpected delight.We started with drinks and apps by the bar and transitioned to one of their restaurant tables. The calamari and Korean chicken tacos were both really great. The calamari was tender and easy to eat, a far departure from the rubber bands one can get at the wrong place. The tacos were a generous size, with a great crunchy texture. If you come during their happy hour, the food is only 9.99! Very affordable.When our friends arrived we moved over to one of the high top tables thoughtfully reserved away from the band so we could actually chat. I had the truffle pizza and it was great. Only critique was that it took an hour to get our table of 8 all our mains, otherwise it would be 5 stars.“

The skewers are tasty, good value, and come out QUICK. It’s almost always busy here but thankfully they have two locations side by side now so you can always see which one has a shorter wait.My fav dishes here are definitely the skewers (lamb, beef, chicken cartilage, wings, etc) and you cannot go wrong with any of them. The steamed oysters and scallops are also AMAZING and comes with a drool worthy garlic sauce. I like ordering a garlic cucumber and cabbage to balance out all the meat. Their fried rice doesn’t have much flavour but it works well with the saltier meats. Definitely check this place out with a group of friends so you can try everything!“

Peter our server was an amazing host, he had great recommendations and made us feel special by insisting we try some vino verde, which was excellent. Food was delicious (flaming sausage, grilled squid, tiger shrimp and chicken) and reminded us all of our trip to Portugal. Ended the night with a dessert called heavenly cream, it’s a must try. We NEVER think about COVID because we are safely able to distance and enjoy our meals. Tonight I had to choose between 2 tasty options.
