“Joya is a staples and a traditional for our family. The food is fantastic and the best quality sushi around. The family who run Joya are amazing people who go out of their way to make you feel the love in the environment, hospitality, and the quality of their food.

Our favourite items are their fish cake soup, the spicy tuna hand rolls (TO DIE FOR), and the avocado salad, which is perfect in its simplicity. We could drink the dressing.

Joya is top-notch and is without a doubt our favourite sushi spot.

“Best spot in Milton for high quality sushi! Lots of options and super fresh. My faves are the salmon aburi, milton roll and white dragon roll. Beautiful presentation! The price is a bit more than other spots and the service is a bit slow (but friendly). We had to wait a long time for our bill. The dining room is fairly small but it is nice that there is a patio area in the front. Highly recommend this restaurant but they need to tighten up their efficiency for a 5* rating.“

“First time trying this place and we ordered over the phone for takeout. Our order was ready exactly when they said it would be, 30 minutes right on the dot.

I’m usually not a big fan of takeout because I prefer sitting down and enjoying a meal, but the attention to detail in the packaging really stood out. Everything was packed well, the food tasted fresh and good, and the pricing was very fair.

Whenever I'm in Georgetown, I have bibimpap for lunch and never get tired of it.

They have other options, too: if you want soup, I recommend their comforting and filling udong.

Their bibimbap, however, is the one to try for its genuine taste that almost transports you to Korea.“

Such Good Sushi - very fresh tasting and nicely presented. We had the 32 pc sashimi, sushi and maki party tray as our main course. Edamame, tea and sake rounded out the meal. Perfect amount for 2 adults who haven’t had good sushi in a while. Definitely flagging it for future visits. Excellent service too. Lost one star because we could feel it when the front door opened and the place seems a bit bare (deco-wise). But the food!! Top notch.“

“Come here regularly for lunch. This is the only sushi spot that makes sushi correctly. Sushi is meant to be room temperature and yoyo sushi always makes sure of this. I despise visiting other sushi places where I’m being served sushi that is freezing cold straight out of the fridge, it ruins the taste completely. Yoyo always makes sure the sushi is just right and I’m always given big portions. My order is usually the sushi lunch B and they never disappoint. Highly highly recommend.“
