“I've been here a handful of times now and I'm not sure why the rating is so low. The selection, even during lunch, is great. The sushi is a good ratio of fish to rice, the hand rolls are a good size with lots of variety, the salmon skin hand roll is especially great. Love the Japanese fried chicken as well. And a huge selection of rolls.Lunch time is also a great value.They had really great custard buns the first few times I went but they've since switched to a standard style that most sushi places serve and that's a little disappointing.Staff has always been friendly, food comes out quickly and there's plenty of seating.“

“I happened to be looking for sushi on a holiday when everything else was closed. This spot was open so I called in and ordered. My order was ready within 45 minutes and was super efficient to pick up upon arrival. Note, this place is for take out only given its size.I ordered the salmon lovers meal and it was unbelievably delicious. The freshest sushi I've ever had in the GTA. “One of the best, elevated sushi experience in the GTA. A hidden gem. We've been visiting this place regularly and it filled the gap after Skippa in Toronto. Reasonably priced (given the quality of the ingredients and the final dish) great quality of produce, great service and atmosphere. We did Omakase, lunch tasting and a regular sushi dinners and every time it was great, so quality consistency is top-notch. Some reviews say that you can get same quality and taste for less in the area - this is not true or a reviewer has a bad palate. Can't wait to come back again.“

“Used to LOVE Wind - so much so that anyone that came into town or any sort of gathering we would suggest and go to WIND.After Covid the AYCE menu shrunk big time - more so in the non sushi items. Their prices also are a tad expensive and more times than one items ordered never ever came to the table. And for the crispy beef - its all batter and no beef :(We still frequent WIND just not as often and definitely dropped a notch on favourite places.Bring back more non sushi protein items!!Parking: Parking is all the way in the back.“

“Originally, our order was wrong because there was a problem with their online food order site (Don’t order from the “Hungry Panda” order platform if you’re ordering through google) and unfortunately the picture was very misleading and was nothing like the actual order we received initially.We ordered one of the party trays and after taking it home and realizing it was wrong, we had to drive back 15 minutes to ask them to change it or at least give us a refund. The owners were so nice and understanding and were kind enough to change it for us at no extra cost. Food quality was very good also!“
“Seating is very cramped. Our waiter was the best, super friendly. Food was very filling. The chef at our table was on the boring side. All the other chefs at the other stations were talking and doing fancy things and ours didn't say anything or do anything fancy other than bang his utensils.“
“Great service and price. Ok food. Flexible with my request of adding more broccoli to the veggies at no extra cost. Very generous portions. I ordered teriyaki tofu and veggies rice. However, teriyaki sauce was very light and watery and there was no taste to the food even after adding hot sauce and soy sauced. I missed the taste of garlic and ginger.“
