“We went in on whim for brunch after seeing some good reviews and wow. The food was outstanding, which we could tell when we walked in because the restaurant smelled amazing. And It was nicely traditionally decorated and everything was neat and clean. The waiter was very friendly, and the menu was big but clear. We ordered: Kaak (traditional bread - kinda like a much better pita), the halloumi, shakshouka, a meat and cheese pie (large), and a dip I can’t recall the name of but it was made with roasted red peppers, pomegranate molasses and walnuts and was very nicely presented with some nice olive oil in the middle of the bowl of dip. I also had the minted lemonade. All came out together for a delicious feast. The service was attentive but subtle. And when I went up to pay, everyone in the kitchen seemed happy and were having a good time and the lady at the cash was also very sweet. Seems like a family run operation. 100% will be back soon.”

“I keep coming back to Montana’s on Merivale for many reasons - the food is consistently tasty (LOVE THE ANTOJITOS), the front of house staff are always welcoming, and the service is top-notch. I specifically request to be seated in Jackie’s section whenever she is working - she is always warm and personable, very hard-working, and attentive even when the restaurant is hopping. This will always be one of my main go-to places!”

“Yusuf was an absolutely fantastic server! I haven’t experienced such great customer service since I was in Japan, and Japan has some of the greatest customer service in the world. He was energetic, helpful, and funny 100/10. I got the keto meal and the veggies were fresh and perfectly crunchy. The bacon was crispy (just how I like it), and the scrambled eggs were perfectly scrambled. I will definitely come back again, especially if Yusuf is my server. Give him a raise!”

Great meal and afterwards when our waiter found out it was my birthday, he brought over a menu with numerous choices for a complimentary dessert. I chose the cheesecake and it arrived with a beautiful blueberry sauce, a sparkler and message of best wishes!! 😮 It was amazing and if that wasn’t enough, he also gave me a birthday card from all the restaurant staff. Not a, "from all of us here at Chop", everyone had signed it personally!! Also included was a business card with a voucher for complimentary steak bites on the other side. They went above and beyond, it was truly appreciated and I wanted to share that Chop Hunt Club will take good care of you!!! ✅✅✅✅✅”

“We recently held a gathering of about 40 people and it was a great experience at East Side Marios Bells Corners. This was already a busy evening. We had booked a month in advance with a guestimated Attendee # but didn't know the final headcount until 3 days before. The Manager and staff were very, very attentive to all guests. There were people milling around talking to each other as they arrived and the staff were very patient. We had appetizers in advance of the meal to support people finding a seat for dinner, and all went very smoothly over the 3.5 hours we were all together. Kudos to Roy and team!!!! They were able to manage multiple dietary requirements - Great service, great evening..”

The staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and professional—even during what seemed like a busy time. What impressed me the most was an employee named James. For the first time, I saw a McDonald’s employee doing much more than simply wiping down tables. James carefully disinfected the window ledges beside every table, paid attention to every detail, and even cleaned up all the garbage underneath the tables. I have never seen someone take such pride in keeping a restaurant spotless. He truly deserves a 5-star recognition for his outstanding work.

Beyond the excellent staff, this McDonald’s has a comfortable dining area, a welcoming atmosphere, and an incredible amount of parking. I absolutely love coming here for a cup of coffee or breakfast and simply enjoying a relaxing, happy start to my day.

“i’ve been looking forward to ordering a cake from this business for a while now, maybe since 2 years ago. i finally decided i’d order a custom cake from them this year and wish i had ordered sooner!

at first, e-mailing was a little tough because i wanted VERY specific details on my cake. i did my best to list all the details and asked lots of questions, but ultimately, it was easier to discuss my cake in-person. sally was helpful over email nonetheless, answering most of my questions, approving details of my cake, and providing a final cost.

carrie was the lady i met in-person and was also the one who would design my cake. she was lovely, friendly, patient, really took the time to make sure she understood the details i wanted, was very concise and straightforward, explaining how she would design the cake and how payment would follow. once she reviewed the cake details with me, i felt very secure about her handling the cake. she also accommodated my preference in picking up the cake at a location closer to me on the day the cake was made. upon pickup, she showed me the box my cake would be in, i waited after a couple customers in line ahead of me (i wanted to pick up the cake as early as possible that day), then i paid the remaining amount. she also instructed me on refrigerating the cake and taking it out before serving for the best texture.

now for the cake itself, it turned out beautiful—actually exceeded my expectations honestly. i hold custom requested items to a high standard and i really was not disappointed. it was worth the cost to me. i wanted an 8-inch cake, specific colour, frosting texture, flavour, number of and arrangement of macarons/additional toppings, and message on the cake. she delivered, flawlessly. the box it came in was very secure and you could see through the box! which was new to me, but i loved that detail.

as for the taste, i asked for raspberry and vanilla because i love light and fruity flavours. it turned out just perfect, and the best part was it wasn’t too, too sweet—just the right amount for me. i could actually eat a whole slice to myself without it feeling too sweet! all my guests enjoyed the cake too. i was able to serve 8 guests a single, large slice each, as well as send them home with another large slice by the end of the night. the total cost was about $120 including the deposit and the custom cake was tax-free. in my experience, it was one of the cheaper custom cakes i’ve ordered cost-wise, considering the amount of detail.

i will be buying from no70cake again for future events. great service and accomodation, amazing commitment to their clients requests, very informative and friendly, excellent quality in cakes. thank you so much! :)”

“May 28, We had a Surprise Party Where do I begin the food was $$ reasonable , appetizers and meals were very good, Baked Salmon, Spaghettini /homemade meatballs were a big hit !! Music by Alex Lopez was very entertaining and fun. The service was top notch, my family and friends raved about how polite and how accommodating they were. Claudia and Georgia where very organized. I brought in 3 cakes to be prepared by putting on the special cake toppers for the finishing touch and serving each patron in a timely fashion, as well as serving extra slices of cake each with sparklers and candles. They took control of the details and told me not to worry. Very professional, my family and friends were very impressed over the service and politeness. I am from Toronto , I did a lot of my arrangements over the phone, they made my job so easy. After the big damaging storm Villa Lucia lost there power like many other people in Ottawa and surrounding area. I thought I was going to have to cancel, they lost all there food in there fridge and freezer. In a day and a half they recovered and the party was on.
