It's amazing we have this in Canada so I don't miss the fried chicken in East Asia. The fries are very good too! With the promotion it's only 7$ for a two piece with fries, amazing value. Very nice service as the staff deliver it to your table. It's also great that when you pay, it does not ask for tip. The washroom is very clean and plenty of parking too. Great location next to the cinema.”

Best of all, it's Halal and for all to enjoy!”

“My first visit to East India Company (Robertson Rd) was to try the lunch buffet which is a fantastic value.

There is a great selection of curries and proteins, more options in fact than most of the other Indian lunch buffets that I have tried in Ottawa.

Being that the cost of the lunch buffet is extremely friendly to your bank account, you have to accept some of the impacts that this brings. Everything I tasted was absolutely full of flavour; my one very minor gripe / observation was that all of the gravies (curries/sauces) were rather runny as compared to what I am used to. I get it, I really do ... it is a minor point and really the only negative that I found.

We got 2 x 2 chicken skewers with rice, potatoes and salad and 2x beef gyros for 4 people and this could have served 6, the salad was gynormouse, they came in their own container!!! For the price of $62!!! On top of all that I walked in to order, I paid and literally 2 minutes later the food was in my hands and I was out the door. Again amazing, the chicken was juicy and we'll seasoned, the pita was soft and fresh and the rice was riceing. 😉 Will definitely come back.”

In my last three pre-orders I pre ordered a large coffee for a meeting (the take 12 ones), set a time to pickup, and each time I got there they would ask me to pull aside and wait for an additional ten minutes or so. They should call it take 12 minutes.My message to upper management:Adding machines that keep beeping when an order is late is a proven method in increasing employees' anxiety and customers annoyance. Nothing else. Please invest more in your employees so they feel intrinsically motivated to fill those cups faster.As to the branch manager, I know the feeling of being stuck between a rock and a hard place, but you picked this job, so please do your best to improve the service and don't hold yourself to the resources (or lack thereof) you are given.”

We had a pad Thai and red curry with chicken, red and green peppers, peanuts and green beans, with rice, and spring rolls. -Spring rolls were FRESH and so crispy on the outside. Music by Alex Lopez was very entertaining and fun. The service was top notch, my family and friends raved about how polite and how accommodating they were. Claudia and Georgia where very organized. I brought in 3 cakes to be prepared by putting on the special cake toppers for the finishing touch and serving each patron in a timely fashion, as well as serving extra slices of cake each with sparklers and candles. They took control of the details and told me not to worry. Very professional, my family and friends were very impressed over the service and politeness. I am from Toronto , I did a lot of my arrangements over the phone, they made my job so easy. After the big damaging storm Villa Lucia lost there power like many other people in Ottawa and surrounding area. I thought I was going to have to cancel, they lost all there food in there fridge and freezer. In a day and a half they recovered and the party was on. “Shoutout to Tailgators for throwing me one hell of a birthday party last night! They went above and beyond for me and my large group of friends. I showed up to the lounge that was perfectly set up the way I wanted, one of the managers Ian was running around for me for the first hour trying to get my music and slideshow to work. He even let me log into my own Spotify when we couldn’t figure it out. Food was delicious and on time! Servers were so great and fun. Everyone had a blast and I couldn’t have asked for better! Would recommend this spot and their staff 10/10 times! So happy! Thanks again!”
