“We went with Artistic Cake Design for our cake and cupcakes for our wedding back in September, and couldn't have been happier with the outcomes. Everything was so delicious (we had a lemon cake, and the cupcakes were lemon, red velvet, and spiced), and beautifully decorated - my design requests were followed perfectly. If we could do it over again we wouldn't chose any differently, and will definitely be using this bakery again in the future!”

“Proudly Canadian! What a wonderful dining experience!
I loved the clean look of the restaurant, minimal decorations, a nice soft colour pallet open and bright.
Our waitress Lizz was very professional with her way of greeting us saying “hello ladies!” (more on this later)
Lizz took our orders giving us enough time to look at the menu.
As I saw others food coming out of the kitchen (a beautiful set up as well) I got more excited, especially when the table beside us got their beautiful looking food delivered, when ours came I was not disappointed!
The plate was beautiful, eggs poached medium, ham and potatoes with some thin sliced red crisp onions, perfect temperature all served on beautiful stoneware, the toast was brought out in a basket to keep the toast from becoming soggy, the coffee was great too and served in a big mug, not the heavy stone kind, big enough I didn’t need a refill.

Lizz checked in with us a few times to see if we needed anything else, when we had finished paying Lizz said “thank you ladies for coming, hope to see you again”!
Lizz because of your greeting and the great food and atmosphere we definitely will be back!

In general when people are eating out weather it’s fast food, a pizza joint or dining in I find it a downer when a group of woman of all ages coming in together are greeted with “hi guys, or what can I get you guys, and when we are done and need to pay and are asked, can I get you guys the machine?” It sounds so unprofessional.
Every time I am mis-greeted I do take a moment to educate, I make suggestions, just say hello everyone or hello I hope you enjoy your meal today, anything else but hi guys!
Sadly before long they come back with “is there anything else I can get you guys?”
Lizz has it right! And it was the start of a positive experience.

I write this in hopes others in the service industry take notice, speak up and make changes, it seem small but it sure changes the atmosphere and we are paying your bills and we tip.”

Great meal and afterwards when our waiter found out it was my birthday, he brought over a menu with numerous choices for a complimentary dessert. I chose the cheesecake and it arrived with a beautiful blueberry sauce, a sparkler and message of best wishes!! 😮 It was amazing and if that wasn’t enough, he also gave me a birthday card from all the restaurant staff. Not a, "from all of us here at Chop", everyone had signed it personally!! Also included was a business card with a voucher for complimentary steak bites on the other side. They went above and beyond, it was truly appreciated and I wanted to share that Chop Hunt Club will take good care of you!!! ✅✅✅✅✅”

What really stood out to me was how fresh everything was. The avocado was such high-quality, something hard come by in Sudbury. “I come there every single day. I love it! I love how they have a family bathroom too so you can have privacy in the bathroom. I wish the heat was a little warmer cuz they try and keep it cool cuz of the stove and burner going but a lot of the times it's cold in there and the tables aren't wiped out. I don't mind wiping down the table what I like to see that. Other than that I really like the food there. Thanks Corey and thanks to your whole gank gang for making me food all summer and all fall.”

There was a play place inside and it was clean and well maintained. The kids all had a blast playing in the play place. The atmosphere was nice especially for the area of town. “Irene, she helps me almost very morning. Shes extremely time efficient and has the best drive through customer service, with quick and incredibly kind service. You can definitely tell when shes not working the drive thru. This whole team has a great system and honestly by far the best mc donalds all around.

I also was blown away with Brooke's kind gesture of going out of her way, above and beyond with her costumer service for filling my cup with ice for work and was extremely kind about it.
We need more Mc Donalds employees like this location has as it has been by far my favourite location I visited to this day.

If you ever come here at night, ask for Emily at the drive-thru window, she’s genuinely one of the friendliest and funniest employees I’ve dealt with and always makes the experience better. The food is what you expect from McDonald’s, nothing fancy but consistent, and the McChicken is usually my go-to. Even when I tell myself I should go on a diet, the great service keeps pulling me back. Fast, friendly, and reliable late-night spot in Barrhaven.”

Homemade crust was outstanding. The beer they have covers all ranges from ipa, lager, stout and the in betweens. They do offer other beverages such as ciders and hard seltzers. The atmosphere had a great vibe with a bit of light industrial crossed with rustic feel.”

“’ve been a fan of Sansotei for years, and this Merivale location continues that same reliable, comforting experience I’ve come to expect. Everything here is consistently good—from the broth to the noodles to the toppings—and it matches the quality I’ve enjoyed at their Toronto locations as well.

My “home base” will always be the Sansotei on Bank Street, right next to my office building. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve slipped in during lunch for a quick bowl that resets the whole day. This Merivale spot carries that same warmth and consistency, which is why it’s so easy to recommend.

I’ll be back again soon—and I’ll remember to take some photos next time to do the bowls justice.”

“May 28, We had a Surprise Party Where do I begin the food was $$ reasonable , appetizers and meals were very good, Baked Salmon, Spaghettini /homemade meatballs were a big hit !! Music by Alex Lopez was very entertaining and fun. The service was top notch, my family and friends raved about how polite and how accommodating they were. Claudia and Georgia where very organized. I brought in 3 cakes to be prepared by putting on the special cake toppers for the finishing touch and serving each patron in a timely fashion, as well as serving extra slices of cake each with sparklers and candles. They took control of the details and told me not to worry. Very professional, my family and friends were very impressed over the service and politeness. I am from Toronto , I did a lot of my arrangements over the phone, they made my job so easy. After the big damaging storm Villa Lucia lost there power like many other people in Ottawa and surrounding area. I thought I was going to have to cancel, they lost all there food in there fridge and freezer. In a day and a half they recovered and the party was on. Special Thank You to Claudia and Georgia and there staff. My rate would be 5+”
