“The donuts that I have eaten here at Tim Horton's is as good as many other places - fast food or otherwise. Some might boast that they're the best, but you can't really screw up a donut. Or can you? I suspect that Tim Horton's probably gets their inventory from a third party supplier and just resells them. I could be wrong, but if they make their own, they're decently good donut / pastry makers. I'm glad that this Tim Horton's is nestled away in this part of downtown, mainly because it's off the beaten path and very much less lines. Regardless of what brings you to Tim Horton's, best bet you would come here for the coffee and the options that they serve. While the menu is kind of limited, it's usually good for those who are already on the go, primarily business executives and others who have business within the downtown area (i.e. Tourists and locals). I'm trying to like Tim Horton's for what it is and stands for, but it's an easy decision. I did like the ease of service and the experiences were good and average.“

“The desserts are amazing. They look cute and they are very tasty. The cubes are heavily filled with the cream. There are many flavors available to choose from. If you want to get a cube bomb better to come earlier during the day otherwise will be sold out. The place is cozy and clean. Didn’t like the fact that the boxes have to be paid for but paper bags are free. Next time will take my own container. Definitely will be back to try other flavors.“

“Not a cheap place and everything from the sign, interior, display, staff uniform, and packaging dictates the pricing. For these pricier bakeries, I feel as though I can be a bit more picky as opposed to your mom 'n pop, corner bakery that you go to on a regular basis for a loaf of bread, some dinner rolls. Viennoiseries were ~$5ea (crossaints, cinnamon rolls, other flaky pastries), while small cakes were $10-12ea. I saw a serves 4ppl sized chocolate cake for $55, so it's definitely NOT your neighbourhood place, but more a special occasion/date café. The Good: - beautiful sign, bright interior/display, good signage in front of each item, so you have an idea of what you're getting - all items looked like a piece of art - female staff (Luann?) was friendly as she offered me a sample of something that I asked her a question about. That was very appreciated! The Needs Improvement: - overcharged for the wrong item, I'm gonna assume it was an accident, but I did have to go back in, get a refund, repay and all that jazz - although fancy, the packaging was soo BIG! I got 2 pastries and it was put in a huge cake box (did not appear recyclable as it had those clear windows). I'd prefer something less fancy, environmentally-friendly like a paperbag! - Cinnamon Roll was a good size, crispy, but slightly dry. It was placed in the closed glass showcase, but maybe exposed for too long. It was DELICIOUS, but again, dry due to exposure, not necessarily inferior baking Between the 2 items, a pastry and a cake, I preferred the pastry. Although everything looks like art, you're gonna pay for it. Definitely check your receipt before leaving.“

“This place is dangerous. I had saved this place to try their croissant but I knew as soon as I walked in that I was gonna leave with much more than that. I ended up getting a tiramisu cheesecake, pistachio cheesecake, two loafs of multigrain sourdough bread, pistachio croissant, and some lemon raspberry thing. I would have taken pictures, but I brought it to a dinner party and everything got devoured. My favourite was the tiramisu cheesecake, but you honestly can’t go wrong with anything.“
“Last year I purchased 2 surly ogres from Dismount. Pat was very knowledgeable, efficient and an all round nice guy. I was pretty fussy about the bike requirements, he went above and beyond to ensure the bikes were as requested. Excellent pricing and the quality of final bike build allowed me to come away with the feeling I got great value for money (that doesn't happen often). Thanks to Pat and the service team for your support during the whole process. Our first cycle tour on the new bikes went trouble free ??. The Rohloff hubs were amazing too!!“

“Our takeout experience at Postman Waffles was fantastic. We ordered a variety of waffles, including chocolate, everything, and churro, and each one was a delight. The waffles were perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our visit even more enjoyable. If you're a waffle lover, Postman Waffles is a must-visit spot.“
“I love this place ima school student so I go here to maybe get keychains and stuff the the people are so nice they let you just sit inside even if ur not buying anything when I went there last week I was short a dollar and they said they will cover it but when I came I had the money that I couldn’t pay before they said no to taking it so I had to sneak it on the counter a very good place over all“
“Admittedly, I didn’t have the espresso, but I’ll be back to review that. However, I had the buttertart and I’d say it was the best buttertart I’ve had in the city. And I have tried many buttertarts. The place is super cute, the service was friendly.Vegetarian options: Pastries, coffee, tea“

“Not bad. Table was cramped and uncomfortable. The waiter tried his best but was rather unremarkable. I would hesitantly come back again. Overall a lack lustre experience. The food was decent but was not heightened by the overall dining experience. Oozed mediocrity. Good wonton nachos though.“

“We dined in on a Sunday afternoon and got the Pistachio and Gianduia gelato which were really good - I'd give them a 4.5/5 because the texture was not as thick as I would've expected from a gelato, but the flavour was great, and I'd rate the Gianduia over the Pistachio flavour.Note that it's $6 for one scoop or $8.5 for two, and I believe the dine-in bowl is larger than the takeout bowl. It's a cute little store under a plant shop, and would definitely visit again!“

“We ordered the panini, matcha latte, Italian coke and pepperoni pizza all was delicious and we loved the flavor of the panini!!! Fresh, delicious and tasty! The pizza was different but in a good way!!! Really good! We love it! The only thing that I will suggest it was the service being a little but slow with the Cutlery, we had our pizza but not plates, after a few minutes waiting, we have to remember them about it; that doesn’t bother us that much, but Overall rating will be 5 stars, I will come back for sure, that little thing don’t opaque my experience at all because everything was really good!“

Very inviting and the owners are really nice. The chef is amazing. “Queen Street is such an interesting street. However, in this part of the long street many businesses have closed, which makes it feel a bit sketchy. Even so there's evidence of long established family run businesses, so I hope time will be good that there's continued success and revival. The restaurant is renovated nicely, seating is geared for small groups of one to four. The menu is eclectic with interesting food pairings. I would definitely return. I'm a sucker for eggs Benedict, paired with mushrooms and avocado; yummmm! Door is a bit sticky, so give a strong tug to open. Wait staff is very welcoming and friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible as there are 4-5 rather high steps to enter restaurant.“

“Amazing drinks! The nut cream is so creamy and rich! The mix of nut cream and bobba was heavenly! Waffles are vegan and taste so good! The service was excellent and they made every drink with love. I’d definitely come check this spot again for their smoothies!“
“I love the soft, doughy texture of these small, cute donuts! I tried their seasonal flavor, which was OG Sour Cream, and it was so good (tastes better than it sounds). Some of the flavors can be a bit sweet, but honestly, you can't go wrong with getting any of them. I can't wait to come back to satisfy my donut craving!“

“The independent store has its own patio and the dining area is on the second floor, which is comfortable and quiet. Rice rolls and porridge are both quick-to-eat delicacies and must be eaten while hot to retain their delicious taste.Except for the signature soy sauce king beef intestines, the pork loin intestines are also good. There are a lot of pork loin, not stingy at all, freshly cooked and tender, and taste great! The beef brisket rice rolls are also delicious. The beef brisket is stewed soft and tasty. The slippery rice rolls are soaked in pork belly juice and full of the flavor of childhood.“

“had a nice expereince at this place, i’m a coffee lover so it was nice to try out a new place… i think they were still doing some renovations so the place had the smell of fresh paint, and there wasn’t much room to sit.. the coffee was good though, was just hoping for a more aesthetic “

“great service, everyone was so nice, especially the guy behind the gelato counter who was very kind in explaining flavours. i got the Biscoff + vanilla bean flavour. the Biscoff was very yummy and included authentic Biscoff in their gelato, but the vanilla bean slightly had an off taste and didn't really taste like a good vanilla bean gelato. nonetheless, i still really liked the gelato & the shop + the service was great!“

“this cafe is a hidden (but not really b/c there was a line up of people when we went) gem of richmond hill! we had the açai bowls and were able to customize them to our liking, with a variety of options to choose from! we definitely preferred the açai base over the matcha base BUT the matcha chia pudding was a game changer ?they also don’t charge extra for milk alternatives which is pretty much RARE in cafes ? so i will definitely be back to try their drinks!“

“Always passed by Aunty Ems while walking my dogs and today was the day I decided to go in and check out this vibe of a shop. Small store front with limited seating by the front window on a tiny bench, but it's more of a get in get your stuff and check out the ambient display and dip on out. I ordered an Americano which was freshly grinded infront of me by the cool gent and added I believe it was oat milk. Cool shop, will definitely try out the fresh goods that are on display next time around.“

“I always wanted to come here for brunch every time I passed by. Honestly I was so impressed by the flavor. I LOVE that they fully understand the taste of Japan.I started off with Japanese squash salad with sesame dressing. I was already satisfied with the first dish. All of the dishes seemed really good but I got seafood spaghetti (spicy pollack roe, shrimp ) and miso mushrooms spaghetti. The taste reminded me of the time when I was in Japan…. These two are very unique pastas you can try here. At the end, I got red beans french toasts. This was die for? I don’t know how they make this but it just had the best combination of everything.. I felt like I could eat this infinitely. I think they rotate the flavors depending on season. One thing to mention, you should make a reservation beforehand since it’s a tiny place and the fact that it was packed on typical Monday. You can also be on the wait list but need to wait at least 20-30mins if it’s busy. I even saw people who already had a reservation but were waiting for the seats. I don’t know how they ended up like that. Anyways, I recommend people to book it before going.“

“IMHO this is by far one of the best artisan coffee in Toronto! The barista is very knowledgeable and knows his craft very well. The decaf flat white that I had was well balance and rounded - the chocolate notes, coffee sweetness and caramel tartness .. all blended together seamlessly. Such joy! Thanks barista for making a gloomy day brighter ?“

“This place specializes in egg sandwiches. They have a variety of options but I like The Classic the most. I find that the sandwiches are hearty so eating one is quite filling. I liked the lobster as well but I wished it had more lobster inside. The bread is soft and buttery. They have a small seating area so it can be difficult to eat it inside. Overall, the service is good and the sandwich is flavorful.“

“I got a decaf banana Bread Latte. It was delicious! With no tip the latte was $8, so not cheap. I wish the sizes went up to 16 oz, because for $8 you're paying for a standard 12 oz medium latte. The staff were great, they have cute things to buy there (the to go mugs almost got me). Space wise there are sit down options, not huge, but you can easily spend an hour or so there. I'd go back, but just for a treat, and not as a regular.“
