“Went there for lunch today with an old buddy. Unfortunately our server forgot to place our order and we had quite the delay; seeing other tables getting their meals who had ordered much after us. Finally another server came to ask "what did you order again?" The food finally arrived. I had the fish Tacos, which were excellent and my friend said his Seared Ahi Tuna Crunch was also excellent.Without us asking, the manager, Graham, came to apologize for the long delay and took care of the food items for us.The food was great, the server dropped the ball (it happens) and the manager pro-actively remedied the situation. “Service was quite good. This location has been four restaurants that I know of so it's obviously a bit of a challenging location. I hope they do well. My daughter and I shared a very large salad which was good but the chicken was a bit dry and bland. I would order the salad again but I would not get it topped with the chicken. I love that they dress the burger in front of you, with toppings in amounts that you choose. This location also has a Swiss Chalet that offers both take-out and table-service. This allowed every one of us to get what we wanted and still eat together.“
“When you're in the mood for some Tex Mex, this is the place to go. Portions are generous, tortillas fresh and "home made", chips plentiful, dips a bit on the small side, fajita accompaniments not always the freshest. Margaritas (large size) are simply massive and the giver of many a brain freeze. Sour and sweet all at the same time even if they don't feel that strong. Service could always be improved and be more attentive leaving empty glasses for long periods of time and not even around to attract their attention. Kids loved coming here for their birthdays but I have to question the sanitariness of the foam hat that the birthday boy or girl is encouraged to wear. Maybe we're just unlucky but we always seemed to get stuck in a corner of the bar (never the more civilised part of the dining room)... could be because they want to keep all of us uglies out of sight so we don't scare away other guests.“
