“Such pleasant owners! So, we visited from the states and found this place on accident - BUT OH MY GOODNESS! It was such a lovely experience. This is your hard-core diner, drive-in, and dive sort of place. Out in the middle of somewhere, I saw it, started to go to the other restaurant we had intended to go to, and then turned around out of sheer mystery - we needed to go back! It was just after Christmas and prior to New Years - and they even were selling knitted tuks. There were none left because we bought them all - sorry. Here is their menu! Maybe more pictures along the way. Tell them those Americans who bought all of those knitted items after Christmas sent you!“

This place only operates for breakfast/brunch so the operation time is very limited. The food came out very fast, so we didn't have to wait long. This place can be very popular so a small wait time might apply. During our visit we had the pleasure of having Emily as our server. She was very kind and attentive. She had great customer service and made our visit enjoyable. The price is normal, plates range from $10-$20. It's great for family's and friends, or even if you just wanna grab a bite solo.“

They also serve the best Ole Fashioned in town, and have Sea Quench on tap.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options, including the tostadas and the smoked tofu sandwich (don't skip this, it's insanely good).Parking: Parking lot is right across the street at the intersection corner.“

The Penne Spago with Caesar Salad and complimentary Garlic Pita was a delightful combination that was bursting with flavor. However, the highlight for me was the portobello alla griglia - it was truly amazing. What's more, the service at Spago's was impeccable. The staff was not only professional, but also incredibly friendly and happy. We were especially impressed by the Manager, who visited our table three times and made sure that we were having a great time. It was clear that the entire team at Spago's cares deeply about their guests' dining experience. Overall, I cannot recommend Spago's enough. This was the second time this week that we were invited to eat at the restaurant, and we accepted without hesitation. The booths are awkward as it causes you to face everyone in the dining room rather than the person you came with. Very uncomfortable. “I started going to Mr A's 50 years ago, every day to get a slice or 2 of their pan deep dish square pizza by the slice. I moved away 40 years ago, but can still taste it. I have been back many times and drive a long distance to make sure I stop by & buy a 4-5 slices. Now it's my son's favorite to. I'm always blown away to discover that it still tastes exactly the same. PLEASE DON'T EVER CHANGE ANYTHING. I've also been trying to make it in California for my family, but can't figure out what kind of cheese they use & what kind of dough. I suspect it is like a malted soughdough & that the cheese may be Wisconsin Brick cheese. I would love for them to respond to the cheese & dough questions. Thanks from a long time customer....“

Glad I let my wife make the call and we went here for dinner.We all ended up getting burgers, and my wife and I both commented that these were the best burgers we have had in a long, long time. Howlers and Growlers is now firmly back in my radar when we want to go out for burgers and a beer.“

The food.. delicious Now I was only going in for a drink and ordered a glass of rosè. I decided to get calamari and it was delicious! It wasn't rubbery at all! Crisp rings throughout! The bread was soft and delicious too! I forget the name of the sauce brought out with the bread as it wasn't regular marinara sauce but it had a slight kick to it. The marinara sauce that came out with the calamari was perfect. It wasn't saucy and salty like other Italian restaurants can be. My server, Emily was a sweetheart. A pure sweetheart. She had other tables and checked on me constantly. I didn't feel left out as I was sitting at the bar alone. We even had a girl chat about Law & Order! I went to pay for my food and Emily let me know another patron already covered my bill. I was having a bad day and had been super emotional about it. These two women made my day.
