“December 22, 2024 - Love the decoration and the layout of the restaurant.
It was quite busy, waited about 20mins to get a table. Only to find out that two of our friends were already there (seated) lol. The staff was very nice, Hannah (I believe that's her name) was very helpful and checked in on us.

My friends who ordered the wings said it was very delicious and he loved the dip/sauce it came with. I liked the butter beef, it was good. Needed some spice. I added the condiments on the table which helped spice up the dish for me. The Cha Thai was good. Everything was pretty tasty.”

“I got delivery so review is only on the food. And it was delicious. All of it. I got the Gamjatang, Hobey Garlic Fried Chicken and Stir-Fried Udon with beef. The Gamjatang is a bit salty but it is flavoured well. Lots of meat/bones. Mildly spicy. The fried chicken remained crispy despite it travelling via Uber for 15 minutes. I appreciate the chicken wasn’t sauced and was on the side. It helped maintain the crunch. Also the stir-fried udon is a sleeper hit. Very tasty. The meat was thin and well marinated. My order came with kimchi (and sliced pickled daikon for the chicken.)”

The matcha shave ice has the perfect amount of matcha which is really nice. Their waffle was ok, a bit too bland for my liking. Everybody loved the pies! With our order, we also got small to-go containers so our guests could take the leftovers and it was a huge hit! There's always a line but at times it moves quickly.
No frills, simple, hearty and affordable HK Cafe food.
They've got various breakfast set meals, lunch along with dinner.

I ended up having *C* in their breakfast menu that included bacon, eggs, bread and a bowl of beef satay noodles.”

“Visited vegetarian restaurant Bo Tree today, and I highly recommend it. The carrot purree soup is a nice surprise, which is not our typical combo soup. Fancier, in a good way. The Japanese "chicken" Katsu is prepared with Japanese rice, with very fluffy eggs. The curry is flavorful and better than some of those I have tried in authentic Japanese restaurant. The"chicken" is chewy, and surprisingly resembled the real counterpart. The dumplings udon is a good choice for comfort food. The menu has a huge selection, and I would definitely go back again to try their other dishes. Their fish and chips will be the next on my radar.”

“The best Korean food we have had. We drive almost an hour to get the food. Their kimchi is so fresh!! Kimbap, Galbi, bulgogi is sooo good. We always have the seafo9d pancake hot and warm in our car. “You probably heard about Fu Kee Bao Dim from just about everyone around you (family, coworkers, Instagram...) LOL. The hype is real. It has pretty much every frozen dim sum, soups, prepped meals, desserts you could imagine.

One of my family's favourite go-to item is the 豬腳薑 aka pig feet in vinegar ginger - available all year round, they make it really well, and it is amazing to eat during winter to stay warm. I usually go for their ready made dessert like mango sage with coconut milk, purple glutenous rice with coconut milk, and my all-time favourite, osmanthus jelly!

I recommend bringing your own cooler bag with ice packs to keep your items cold while travelling home.”

“It is the best curry fishballs I have ever had in Canada. It is very tasty. I love its spicy. It will be the go-to place for me to get curry fishballs and other Cantonese food and soup. I also bought blueberry Muffin and beans carrot pork bone soup. They all look very yummy. I recommend people who love Cantonese food to visit this shop. :D”

Just eat it with green onion and ginger soul sauce and you can really enjoy two bowls of rice.-Today I ordered hand-shredded chicken and salt-baked chicken. “We felt like getting sushi takeout and was going to be in the area so thought we'd give this place a try.

Value-wise, I think the prices were very good. It was a decent amount of food with good variety (for a 40 pc sushi/sashimi/rolls tray) along with some of their seasonal mango-inspired sushi. It wasn't the best sushi I've had, but for the price, I think it's very good. (The mango rolls kinda fell apart on the car ride home hence why it looks that in way the pics.)

Go with their recommended KayLan with stir fry tender Beef and seasonal meaty fresh oyster with garlic. Go for it 🦪 .Had a wonderful dinner for sure.”

Service is a bit slow.

Biggest issue is portion size. Paying for extra noodles is literally 1 bite... I'm not exaggerating. If you get 2 extra orders of noodles, it brings the bowl of noodles to over $20.... and still not full.

You need to seriously consider fixing this if you want to attract more customers and have more regulars.

I remember watching an interview with the owner of izakaya ju years ago and he said "I keep my prices low so customers can come everyday and won't feel like it's a special occasion"

If you're paying 25 bucks for a bowl of ramen... feels like a luxury compared to other options.

I'm good if you want to charge more... but make sure you actually feed me.”

“There is a wide selection of Taiwanese food, desserts, and bubble tea. Our favourite things to order are the lunch set menus which have good value, as it comes with a meal and drink. The popcorn chicken combo came with rice, flavourful and crispy chicken, and some mapo tofu. We also really like the Taiwanese beef noodles which isn’t too spicy, has generous portions of tender beef, and green tea noodles. There is a wide variety of drinks too which have a nice tea flavour, and the tapioca is well made.”
