The catsup was empty , the cutlerie were not served, and so on and so Fort. This is unacceptable , but consider about the work of the people.“

The driver nor I was made aware until I check the bag. The driver then called Gabby's to inquire why he was not notified he was delivering a partial order, he was dismissed and told to give me the phone. The young lady (Gabby's employee) then proceeded to convey the bottle was not available and that I'd have to attempt a refund through Skip the Dishes, not Gabby's. She was quite dismissive and closed with a very sarcastic "have a nice evening" and hung up.Needless to say, Gabby's on Eglinton is off-limits to me and my family.Update:David, the owner, arrived at my doorstep to personally deliver my order.I'm appreciative of this, he has renewed my faith in humanity (and Gabby's). “We recently visited Grill Gate and had a fantastic experience! I ordered the cheeseburger and the Philly steak Caesar salad, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. Not only was the burger impressively large, but the salad was equally satisfying. The coated fries were crispy and delicious,you should taste it, While the prices are a bit higher compared to other burger joints, the portions definitely make it worth the expense. Grill Gate has easily made it into my top three burger spots, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. It's no wonder they have such a high rating on Google Maps“

“Tonight was my second time back in a week.Was in last week and had the pleasure of having Mark as our server, and tonight had the pleasure of having Glee as our server. “The Gingerman Restaurant is what I would call a real old fashioned restaurant. It’s like getting into a time machine and heading back to the 1950’s. I’m quite sure that this restaurant will never receive a Michelin Star but they will be getting something better, which is a 5 star rating from me.My wife and I visited The Gingerman Restaurant for lunch. I ordered an absolutely huge 4 egg Meat Lovers Omelette and my wife chose the Classic Clubhouse Sandwich. Both dishes were scrumptious and service was quick and friendly. “We only had beer so I can only do review for beer for now. We went for happy hour on both days. After 8pm until closing time. The service was a little slow I find, but since we didn't order food and just wanted to chat it was okay. I was surprised didn't see too many people in the restaurant on Sunday around 8pm. They used to have fried chicken thigh or leg and not just wings, I wish they can get that back. I do suggest the Alfredo pasta with either chicken or shrimp that's what I liked to order before.“

Main breakfast entrees were good, tater tots were good but a bit salty due to the added shredded parmesan cheese.Service was average, wait staff does refill coffee and hot water for your tea.Decor is up to date. Washrooms are located outside the restaurant area and behind Starbucks, so it's a bit of a walk. Ambiance is OK, no background music is played, so you can have decent conversations with your table mates. I literally order five orders and then freeze it and use it for lunches for a long time . it is delicious. Huge sizes and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. They always recognize me when I come in even though it’s 5-6 months between visits. Worth a visit. They do have tables inside but it’s not overly welcoming in terms of decor. “Not sure if they have new people making the patties but I have been going here for a lot of years and they are not the same. First of all, there was almost no filling and of that filling there was almost no meat, mostly gelatin. Second of all, they were not spicy. I wouldn't even call it mild. Third of all, the patties were way, way too salty. I mean box of salt flavour. Someone must have tipped the salt over by accident because nobody in their right mind would use that much salt. Two of us were driving down the road and couldn't finish them, chucking patties out the car window. It's a real shame and it was a waste of money. The pastry was excellent though and maybe you should back the salt off in that too. I felt sick after for about 1 hour. Ok, new better baker n more meat. Update 2024 : Recently I went back and they have fixed the patties. Just as good as ever. Craving patties and going back again today. Also, that is not my hand in the photo with the werewolf fingernails, that is the driver.“

“It was our first time coming to the restaurant, as well as the golf club in general. We had a reservation for 530pm but we arrived early. The host was able to accommodate us and brought us to the table immediately. The space of the restaurant wasn't as big as I imagined, with only 12 tables - 4 seaters. However, they had combined a few tables to transform to long tables in order to accommodate 2 big parties. Perhaps it was the holiday season, we weren't given any water or acknowledgments 30 minutes after we were seated. Given that we had ample time to study the menu, we knew what we wanted for the night - their winter set menus. Initially, the reason for the visit was that we won their contest on Instagram for dinner of 2 on their set menu B, however, we asked if we could upgrade to the menu C and pay the difference, which, they were able to accommodate our request. Their set menu each comes with a choice of appetizer, a main course, a dessert, a non-alcoholic beverage, AND coffee/ tea. The pan seared atlantic salmon was definitely a winner! Crispy on the skin, and the salmon was cooked perfectly with it being juicy and tender and very silky-smooth. The striploin was cooked just the way we asked - medium rare. The red velvet cake was a nice touch to finish off our evening, but the cream cheese frosting was a little bit sweet to our liking. Other than that, the cake itself was soft and moist.The price of the set menu is tax and tips included, which is very budget friendly with the amount and level of food you get.“

Once I was acknowledged, the bartender said the food is being packaged up and will be out shortly. So the assumption was that as a woman of colour, I must be picking up food for delivery. I ordered my drink. A second staff member came to me to ask again about picking up food. Again, the assumption being that I could not possibly be at the bar for no other reason, other than picking up a food delivery .What an absolutely awful experience. I have been visiting this location since it opened, as I live in the neighborhood. I miss the days of Lucas and some of the other staff prior to the pandemic.“
