“The big I-5 billboard presence is not a marketing gimmick. SO worth the detour. (Would have appreciated indoor seating and gluten-friendly options.) “Very cozy. This location has seating outdoors as well as indoors. They also have games playing all throughout the day on the televisions if you are interested in sports. The customer service is friendly and amazing. My kids love the ball machine inside the front door! All in all a great place for family dining. I highly recommend their toasted sandwiches and classic wings. Thank you Figaros for being a part of Creswell!“

“I've always been really skeptical about raw veganism even in all my years of being vegan, but when this spot came so highly recommended, I had to try it!I've been missing out! We tried samples of the soft serve and the mint chocolate- mouth wateringly amazing. After having some smoothies along with tostadas (I will be talking about these forever) and a delightful Alfredo with coconut meat, I know we'll be returning again and again. I know their menu is updated often and I can't wait to try all the things! Everyone is so polite and we left with very happy and refreshed bellies. Thank you. ? The restaurant was very busy when we arrived and got busier while we were there, which is always a good sign! We had a short wait for a table, but it was totally worth it. “Quaint, cool, sophisticated coffee shop in the middle of downtown Eugene. It's a good size and has a really great vibe; nice and clean with a mixture of individual tables, lounging spaces, indoor, outdoor, high-top, and standard-level seating. The shop has those garage-style doors at the front so that they can open to the outside when the weather is fantastic. The drinks are good. When we stopped here for coffee they may have been a bit behind, because our order took 15 minutes (give or take a minute), which was longer than I expected for a drip coffee, chai latte, one of their special coffees and a couple things from their pastry case. Service was good though, and friendly. But then again I am not a coffee connoisseur so perhaps that's a standard wait time. I had the chai, which was pretty good. It's a house blend. I also picked up a raspberry mocha for my sis; it was something I would have wanted to try if I drank coffee and she said it was good. The pastries were good; a nice fluffy piece of coffee cake with a delicious swirl of cinnamon is not as common a sweet as it once was! There's some parking in the front on Willamette, and then the paid lot just north of the building. I almost paid for it, but there was only 2 hour and up increments and I wasn't going to pay $5 for 15 minutes picking up some coffee. Luckily, I found that behind the building there are some visitors spaces for the 1203 building for free. I would visit Meraki again, it's a great little place to hang out or just pick up and go.“

“Heard about this place for the first time last week on the radio, so thought we'd give it a try. We got pesto cheese bread and a half Hawaiian / half pepperoni pizza. They were both really cheesy and deliciously greasy. The crust is thick but well-cooked, and the prices were really reasonable. We will definitely be back!“

We finally found the gem in the corner of 18th and Chambers. It is called the Angkor Cafe. The food is absolutely amazing. People you got to put this place on your next stop. “Anytime I'm in Eugene, I make sure to visit Falling Sky. I've tried most of their beers and found them all to be outstanding. The space is cool and welcoming with a nice mix of big communal tables and smaller ones. They have a nice variety of food on the menu and everything I've had has been really good.“

This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. As long as I have breath in my body and they will have me I will host a show here for my own sanity and well being. More places should pay attention to how these people do business on all ends. “The ramen is consistently delicious and the service is quick and friendly. The owner makes it a point to enthusiastically greet each person as they walk in, somehow genuinely each and every time, which I really value and appreciate. I always get the Spicy Katsu Ramen and everything is lovely. Rich, flavorful broth, noodles with the perfect amount of chew, fresh veggies, and satisfyingly thin and crispy katsu (chicken, tofu, or pork). To me, this is absolutely the best ramen in Eugene!“

The beer was great, but even more surprising and spectacular was the food! We ordered off their smorgasbord menu not quite knowing what to expect and was pleasantly surprised! I highly recommend trying their frikadeller (fried meatballs), smoked pork sausage and flatbread & tourm (whipped olive oil and seasoning - I think.) If they ever open a location in Junction City where we live then they would be our "Cheers" and visit weekly! :)“
