Sadden to know our one of our favorite restaurants closed down - Izakaya. We decided to try Jungle Fowl the other night for dinner and was impressed with their food as the chef and everything else besides the menu offering stayed the same! They know how to do chicken. The Peruvian chicken dish was delicious! Loved the sauces and pickled appetizers.
Met my kids here for lunch today! The service was good! The food was alright. I had the jungle fowl burger. It tasted good, i requested it cooked medium and it was medium, the fries were good. I wasn't impressed with the Junglefowl sauce. The kids had a chicken sandwich, enoki sandwich, and the burger. I didn't hear any complaint, but I didn't hear any compliments either.

The food and cocktails were delicious! We tried the shitake mushrooms (not to be missed!), buttermilk chicken sandwich (generous chicken, a little heat), the bahn mi (delicious bread and pickled veggies), and skewers (loved the lime and creamy sauce). Of course, sad that Meiji is gone but Eugene is lucky they didn't just close shop altogether!
