I had the chicken with crab topping. It was excellent with lots of lump crabmeat and a nice sauce. For years now My wife has been looking for eggplant parm like her mother made it. Most places use food service pre-breaded very thin eggplant slices. They end up just tasting like fried bread with a vague eggplant flavor. These were made fresh, sliced properly and were excellent. We think it is important to support the local economy and Toscana's has served the local community successfully for many years.There is one point of constructive feedback that we would like to offer. As a take-out item, the gelato I believe is not served authentically. Toscana's appears to be serving gelato as if it is the same as ice cream. An ice cream scooper is being used instead of a specific gelato utensil. This impacts the serving amount and the way it is presented.“
