“YOU NEED TO HEAR THIS: We custom ordered a specialty birthday cake (strawberry cake, strawberry and cream filling between layers and halves of strawberries on top). The day of the party, the birthday girl cancels because she was sick. We went to pick up the cake as scheduled and the manager actually offered us a credit or a refund. Out of obligation I said, "no I wouldn't leave you hanging like that." She offered again saying she could probably sell it by the slice. I agreed to take the credit agreeing to not take my money back. I then said I'd buy the first slice to make sure I got to taste it. She said I'll give you a slice for free. Listen people....no one, I mean no one does customer service like this. The cake was delicious by the way. I will send everyone to this bakery simply based on the amazing customer service. It's just a bonus the cake was excellent. Please try this place. They deserve the business. And grab an "ooey gooey butter bar" when you go. Amazing!!!“
“Went on a gorgeous Sunday about midday. The place was so busy, but drinks didn't take that long. Great London Fog that had flavor! For the tea drinkers, they have Harney & Sons. Try the PARIS!! 6 different kinds of quiche offered & 4 or 5 kinds of baked oatmeal!! Wish I lived closer! Keep up the awesome work, Coffee & Cream!!“
“I ordered from the Rise Bake Shoppe a chocolate cake with peanut butter icing, a Cloud 9 cake, one dozen funfetti cupcakes, one dozen monster cupcakes, and a double crust cherry pie for a birthday party this past weekend. It was all so delicious. From the decorating of each dessert to the taste of the dessert...5 stars! Everyone loved them. I plan on ordering for another birthday event in the very near future!“
“I have a hard time going elsewhere for some of the goodies here! The baked oatmeal is to die for and I could eat it every day!! The prices are hard to beat for the taste and look of everything!! I go in and get a little for now and freeze some of the other goodies...baked oatmeal freezes perfectly! I love being able to get one piece of cake, so I can get different flavors for me and others in my house! I am always trying to find the perfect dough for dumplings, and this one is my fav! If I lived in Wrightsville, I would have major issues being able to eat here all the time.“

“Very welcoming and friendly faces for service. The place is now a book nook. Has seating and is clean and enjoyable. The food is all Gluten free and pretty tasty. . We love the peanut butter Tandy cakes! The snickerdoodle bars are another good choice!“
