“I stumbled upon this restaurant for brunch and I was pleasantly surprised. Their portions are generous and the food is delicious. Their drinks are also a must if you like to pair a little bubbly with your brunch. I recall the staff being so kind and allowing my friends and I stay as long as we wanted without making us feel rushed. Great place with an eclectic feel!“

“Butcher and Singer is our go to steak house. Always excellent food and top notch service.! It was my husband's and my anniversary. I made note of it in my reservation, really not expecting anything except “Happy Anniversary “. At the end of our meal our waiter brought out a beautiful desert with Happy Anniversary written in chocolate! This restaurant never disappoints!!“

“We got the chefs menu and sat at the counter. Service was excellent and food was incredible. The scallops were absolutely delicious. Sitting at the counter to watch the chefs and asking them questions was an awesome experience. Missing one star because the dessert was just not good. I’ve been to a lot of great restaurants that just aren’t dessert places, not sure if this is one of those or if it was just the dessert they had on the menu at the time. Will definitely go back.“

“Everything looked so great on the menu. It was hard to choose! We tried something from all of the sections on the menus. The oysters with grapefruit mignonette was delicious! The oysters were shucked and cleaned beautifully. The quail was excellent. We also ordered the pasta and duck. Both were delicious! We capped off the meal with the chocolate torte which had a bit of honeycomb cookie. The servers and food runners were excellent. Our food runner in particular was very enthusiastic about our dishes. Also loved that there were Zero-Proof beverage options! The menu is a bit pricey, but we thought it was worth it. I would happily go back and try more dishes.“

“Customer service was exceptional. Seating area was a bit small but everyone was so friendly and worked as a team. Honestly the best service I ever had. I went for restaurant week and ordered the shrimp creole. Omg I cleaned my plate and was still salivating over the idea of more when I got home. My partner ordered the crab soup and the salmon. Eyes rolled in the back of his head y’all. Everything was so well and for my first time they left a lasting impression. Would definitely dine here again. I’m just disappointed the shrimp creole isn’t on the regular menu.“

“My family and I found Shay's on a trip to Philly and were amazed at the delicious food, warm atmosphere and incredibly kind and welcoming service. I enjoyed my chicken caesar wrap, but I definitely want to get a Philly Cheesesteak next time after seeing how much my husband and daughter enjoyed theirs. Scott and his wife made us feel at home, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the chocolate covered strawberries and ice cream with which we were treated. Being at Shay's after many days of traveling was a huge blessing- we were welcomed and treated like VIPs. We won't forget Shay's and hope to return!“

“This brewery is located at 5th street and Spring Garden street. It has a varied menu and I tried the hummus platter which was rich and smooth. Very fresh vegetables and warm pita triangles. A love stout vanilla beer which was smooth n creamy. My friend had an American burger with fries "very juicy" she like the fries too. My other friend had pork belly on bao buns steamed he said it was okay but he isn't pleased with most things unless his Mom makes it. Service was fantastic!! We ate outside in an enclosed area with ceiling heaters. Quieter. Inside there is a rectangular bar and a huge room filled with Highwood and picnic tables with TVs all around. A great place to meet friends and hangout to watch sports. There beers are excellent.“

“In from va beach for vball tournament. Local friend showed me around and I was lucky enough to land here. The short rib with asparagus and potatoes as side was nothing other than amazing. My 2nd favorite meal over 51 years of life. The only reason there is one piece of Rib on plate is because I couldn't picture the next day without the taste.“

“Went last week and had an amazing experience especially the assistance we received from our waitress and the pastry chef. I had the one of the special entrees of the day- duck breast and since I’m not drinking, their lavender lemonade was both cute and tasty. A little tart, but very lemonadey. My husband got a ton a stuff that I don’t remember, but he enjoyed every drink, appetizer ( it was a tuna bonbon special) and entree. I’ve driven past this place for years, so it was great to finally pop in. Added bonus, located in northwest Philly which is such an amazing part of the city.“

While their service was warm and accommodating, the cheesesteaks were unfortunately heavily seasoned, even for someone who enjoys a salty kick. We ended up taking half of our meals home, realizing later that we should have spoken up about the seasoning issue.Despite this experience, I'm willing to give Bar Jawn another chance in the future. Just a friendly heads-up for others: don't hesitate to speak up if your meal isn't quite right.“

“I found this cute brunch place and tried their famous French toast—it was amazing!The granola-covered French toast had a slightly crunchy exterior and a soft interior with strawberry cream.It was a big portion, and after finishing it, I felt like I wouldn't want anything sweet for days. My family had dinner at your new location yesterday and it was hands down the best service I have ever experienced in my entire life. I never really take the time to leave reviews so the fact that I’m doing so speaks volumes. Food, atmosphere, service, and prices were all top notch. It’s always a struggle to find a restaurant with all 4 of those qualities, let alone a menu with enough options to please everyone in my family since they all have different tastes. Our waitress went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable and the owner even came out to greet us. We will definitely be back soon!“

“One of the best new restaurants in Philly, and it’s BYO! Delicious forward-thinking dishes & excellent service in a quaint Philly row home. Menu is a fixed price and changes often. Included in the price is an appetizer, entree, and dessert.I have been at least 5 times since moving to this neighborhood. I have yet to have any dish that was not excellent. The menu is always creative, the dishes colorful, and service friendly. Cannot recommend enough!“
