“Was very nice people friendly“

“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“

“Beware- this place is always packed with a long wait for a table on a Friday night. Their mussels are absolutely to die for - had every single kind and I always come back for more!! Huge portions and comes with fries! Get the burger if you’re not into seafood. The best beer selection on the east coast- it’s a Philly thing!“

“Tiny “Hometown“ type bar. Everyone was very friendly. We had a cheesesteak, which was very good, and got to put pins in the map to show how far we traveled. Drinks were generous and atmosphere was very fun. We were there on a night when they were playing bingo. It was free and a very fun addition to the night. Only complaint is the smoking. I’m sure this is some kind of last resort for smokers, and they probably love it, but I could do without going back to my hotel smelling like a dirty ashtray after having a drink and a sandwich.Parking: Parking lot is tiny and only accommodates a few cars. street parking is hard to find. This place is at the intersection of a few streets, but there is one of the roads that has free parking across the busy intersection.“

“My friends & I (party of 10) met at Capone's on Sunday, March 24, 2024. We were set up in a room that made it very easy for us to talk with each other while we ate. The menu gave a lot of options for all of us, the service was outstanding, and we were not rushed. Most of us had never been there before, but we all agreed how much we liked it, & we plan to do it again.“

“On my first ever visit to Philidelphia, I chose to try this place (the nachos looked good on the online menu). When I walked in, the place had an intriguing atmosphere. It was self seating - I didn't see the menus on the table, and the server noticed, so, he grabbed me one and brought over a water, before I even requested anything! I ordered the Nachos with the spicy (not hot, just flavored with spices) chicken - it was So good and the bowl was suitable for 2 or more to enjoy. The plating was intriguing! It was Delicious! While I was eating, the server made me feel welcome, joking that I wasn't the Only one who didn't notice the menus (another party that came in missed them, too!). I returned afew days later with my husband, had to show him some of the city and have him try the nachos - we both Inhaled them! Despite a Large party being there, the server came right over with waters, got our order and had it brought out quickly. We were impressed with the service, despite the large party. I Highly reccomend this place! Try the nachos!! The giant pretzels look delicious, too!​“

“There's always a different bartender and it seems the more makeup they are wearing the more likely they are to get your order wrong. I ordered a double shot of Jack and a pint of coke and I got a double shot glass with ice and not even filled to the top and my soda had NO ice and it was half the size of a pint. That was a week ago. Two days ago, our food order got stupid screwed up! ...but as long as the bartenders look good, right? Shut up!“

The food overall was very good but took a while to come out, especially considering we were one of the only tables ordering full meals.All sandwich and cheesesteaks come with the choice to add fries for an extra $4. Since we had already gotten fried pickles and split 10 wings, we probably could have skipped this, and the fries were fairly unremarkable. Fried pickles were excellent and the wings are as good as advertised.My firebird turned out to be an excellent choice. This cheesesteak comes with jalapenos, bacon, and a habanero cheese that gave an awesome kick. Wow! The 1/2 lb bacon burger looks small but is A LOT of burger and was tasty. The French onion was a unique take on a cheesesteak and came with a cup of jus on the side to dip. Nice touch. The pulled pork was slow cooked and full of BBQ flavor without being oversauced.Id like to come back here again sometime for either their Tuesday sale on wings and trivia night Wednesdays. “I definitely recommend Wolf Burger! I got Fries and the BBQ bacon ranch burger and the flavors were out of this world! Roll was great, the cheese on the burger was melted perfectly, and overall the burger had a really unique flavor! The black and blue burger was super good too! “Best little local pub just off Passyunk. We dropped our grandchildren off after having them over the weekend, and stopped here to grab a bite to eat and a cocktail before heading back to New Jersey. “Duba is my favorite spot for karaoke! It’s not as expensive compared to other karaoke rooms and they have a good list of songs powered through playbox karaoke on their English system. Gratuity is 20% on each room regardless of if you get food or not, so make sure that you’re being charged the right amount. The food and drinks are really good! I usually order the wings with an adult capri sun! Definitely a hidden gem that’s on the outskirts of Philly!“

“What should've been my last stop of the evening before I found out how lame the bars in Jersey are. More of a cocktail bar, they had a decent selection of craft brews. The mango IPA had me daydreaming of a return trip to Appalachicola. As I had a half hour drive, I only stuck around for one beer. Out of all the bars I visited, this was the only place that seemed like a singles bar. Next time I come back I'll have to test that theory.“

“Castle Roxx is my go to stop. Every time I come I have a great experience. All of the bar tenders always are amazing and work so hard to make my experience the best in Manayunk. Eric and Vinny are two of my favorite bar tenders. They make even the slowest nights the most fun. I normally come during the week, as opposed to the weekends, and I never regret it.“

“A friend and I went to The Greeks to watch the Phillies game and one of the worker that was behind the bar were being RUDE to us. We were sitting at the bar and (not even) 4 minutes into the game. He come to us and said; if you guys going to sit here, you have to order, than he added, I’m being serious. My friend and I both know that, but he DID NOT have to be rude about it by adding “I’m serious” at the end of that statement. Before the game even started, I told the other worker that was behind the bar that I would order a few minutes into the game.“
