“Excellent but expensive restaurant. Their onion soup is the best ever! My husband got the special bouillabaisse which was tasty but very skimpy for$45. I had the steak frites which was tasty but very fatty and gristly for $38. I would have much preferred a filet but it was not on the menu. Service was excellent.“

“Fantastic little shop! Amazing bakes goods, Amish made products, all ran by a friendly staff! It's a definite must do when in the area either to visit Kitchen Kettle Villiage, or simply passing by. I do caution the shop space is a tight squeeze, especially if a tour bus is there. But more so difficult for someone in a wheelchair or limited mobility. “While I like most of Stoltzfus’s items, I’ve been disappointed in their chicken salad. It used to be a staple in our home but seems like they’ve changed the recipe. It’s now so runny with mayo (or whatever they use) that it plops right off our sandwiches. They’ve also seem to cut back on the celery which added a nice contrasting crunch. Please bring back the old recipe.“

“WOW! This is one massive sticky bun. I purchased three kinds: one with nuts, one without nuts and the cinnamon roll. Why wait to go home and who could resist? I ate my just received sticky bun, in my car; fingers gooey. Ask for wet wipes, I believe they have them. Next day, reheated a bun in my oven and folks; it was Still amazing. This bun oozes with the sticky stuff and cinnamon, within the crevices. My car smelled like Yankee Candle's Cinnamon Bun; it was truly intoxicating.“

“I placed an order for my graduation cake with Martine a couple of months ago. We talked on the phone and he was so professional and informative in telling me the design process. I told him my vision and the whole team did amazing! As I shared my silly design with him, he encouraged me to share what I truly envisioned. He informed me what size cake I should get depending on the amount of guests, and if food was served, how that would also affect the size I should get. He was very funny and honest. House of Clarendon put their love and care into all they do, and it shows! The flavors of my cake were delicious and the design was amazing! “AMAZING PLACE!!! MORE AMAZING PEOPLE!!! I am a tour operator and had a group at Tanger Outlet Lancaster. Long and the short... I had a client in need of seat, and an outlet for his portable O2 in a standing room only Butter & Bean. So, one of the staff hears my plea for help and Jessie, the owner comes out. She makes arrangements for not only a seat near an outlet but grabs an extension cord to allow for some movement. The patrons in the entire cafe made way for Jessie and my client. I ask if we can just chill for an hour or so, till he gets charged up and she wouldn't hear of it. "Stay as long as you need to", she said. So, I bought my client a coffee and a sandwich, which was amazing, bought some coffees for those that made space for him, and invited the entire bus group to join us and support Butter and Bean. And we sure did. The food and coffee were great, but the spirit, the vibe and the whole experience I needed to share. Oh, did I mention it was Black Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 1230p!!! Who does that??? Well, Butter and Bean does! So, get great coffee and really good eats, and support a business that we will proudly support in every way.“

“This Bakery is such a welcome addition to our neighborhood. As a baker, myself; it has been such a pleasure to meet the Pastry Chef, Ivy and discuss techniques and recipes with her. Her Orange Pineapple cupcakes are the best cupcakes I have ever eaten including my own. Her French Macarons are also delicious and she comes up with delicious and interesting flavors like the recent Fruity Pebbles Macaron and her Birthday Cake Macaron. Also, if you buy one of her dessert cups, I double dare you to eat it all in one sitting even though they are almost impossible to stop eating. :)“

“The restaurant is decorated with colorful fabrics and banners and there’s Latin music to set a festive atmosphere. The service was very good and our server was very friendly and answered our questions. My chicken empanada was stuffed with seasoned chicken and definitely homemade. My fish tacos had great sauces and presentation. Some parts were a little fishy so I wouldn’t order again. My husband’s enchiladas platter was so generous he took some home. The green sauce and chorizo are spicy so go for the milder options if you don’t want heat. The food was fresh and house made and priced reasonably so I would definitely go back.“

“I've ordered from Sweet Shenanigans several times, large orders and also a few just to take and home and share with my boys. My favorites are her unique flavors you don't find at other bakeries. I recently served the lemon drop and simply strawberry cupcakes at a baby shower. So many of the guests told me they're not even "cupcake people" but these cupcakes were the BEST they ever had. You can always save money and make your own, or you can get what you pay for, save time, and serve delicious and decadent cupcakes that your guests will remember and request again a d again!“

“I have not been to this establishment personally but am a devoted follower of Von Thun Farms in Washington NJ. I saw these Iced Cinnamon Buns for Sale in their farm store. I thought my partner would enjoy these. I was correct they are extraordinarily good. This kind of dessert is not my thing but I did enjoy these Cinnamon Buns too! It is the Maple Icing for me! I would like to purchase another item from your bakery another time I stop by the farm. I hope to see this bakery label so I can try another dessert. I recommend you try- you will not be disappointed.“

“I've read a few about "these women" from 2014- 2018, and it seems they are no longer around as it seems they were actually hurting business. I had a matcha cookie and a lemon muffin at the last minute (about 220 PM Sat) but everyone kind of wants the day to end sooner in the market at that point. Both were very flavorful and I'd certainly be willing to come back and see what some other artisan or artisan like creations they might offer as that fits the bill for me.Male staff was friendly- maybe Ric himself.Environment is the typical intimate small spaces nature of the Lancaster market.“

“I grabbed breakfast here yesterday and have to say this is quite the hidden gem. The building and decor are so cozy and made me feel right at home. The owners have a dog who runs around the property and was just the sweetest thing, making the trip even more fun. I ordered a vanilla latte, which was good and had a strong espresso. I also ordered a brick house omelet to eat. Unfortunately it seemed like my omelet was forgotten about because they were in the middle of a rush, so I asked for it after 30 min. They then got it out quickly and it was delicious- filled with sausage, bacon, peppers, onions, and cheese. It was so big and came with toast, so I was stuffed by the time I was finished. Other than the service snafu, I really liked this cafe!“

“If you're around the area, you should stop by and get some of the delicious cheesecake, pie and torte. They are just like those you can find in local supermarkets or restaurants except they have more selections. The prices were reasonable and customer service was excellent.“

“I bought a coconut cake at Christmas time last year. We didn’t eat it all and decided to freeze some of it. I just got it out of the freezer and thawed it out. The cake was just as moist and delicious as the day we bought it. I didn’t even have it an airtight container. They make an awesome cake. You can freeze it and thaw it out and it is as fresh as the day they make it.“

“I saw those Yelper pizza pictures and found myself dreaming of Thom's pizza. Who knew, a bread bakery, would have such delicious pizza? Those pictures don't lie, I'll tell you that. Only two tables, up front and my hubby and I snagged one of them. A large pepperoni pizza, took about 15 minutes. I should have taken a picture of it, but I just couldn't wait to dig in. Burnt the roof of my mouth, of course. Sauce was crushed tomatoes, loads of gooey cheese, lots of those tasty cupped pepperonis and that crust, ooh my; thin, chewy, bubbly, thick around the edges; are you drooling yet?“

“They moved to a different storefront within Rockvale Square outlets. They are now in between the Disney store and Jack and Janie. I have been shopping here for years to buy bread, goldfish, etc. Buy one of the resuable bags and every time you bring it back it gets you an additional 15% off your total purchase.“

“Best bakery in Lancaster and it's not even close. They took such great care of me when it came to helping me decide on my daughter's birthday cake. And every single person at her birthday party complimented the cake and thought it was delicious. It was just lovely! Also, they make the literal best chocolate chip cookies. <3 For what it's worth, this 3/4 sheet cake could have fed my party twice over and was extremely affordable for how high quality it was.“

“My daughter chose Scratch Bakes in Lancaster for her birthday lunch. We shared the buffalo chicken wrap with bleu cheese dressing on the side for me and a side of ranch for her. It was a big wrap so I’m thankful we shared it. It was DELICIOUS!!! And the homemade dressings were so tasty that I bought a jar of each to bring home. Best dressings I’ve ever had. The issue we had was the ventilation inside. It was so smokey in the establishment that our eyes were watering and we couldn’t wait to get outside where we enjoyed our cupcakes (which were very yummy too)! The haze was like it was from cooking bacon. If they get that resolved, it will be fine to dine in. Everything we ate was great! ??“
