“I've been here a few times, it's a fun place to bring people because of the whole speakeasy vibe. They don't take reservations so it's hit or miss if you can actually get in. Drinks are hit or miss for me too. Over time I've done drinks from the menu and the bartenders choice. I know it sounds silly but I really dislike the ice they use! It's like ice chips which cheapens the drinks, which seems to go against the suave swanky vibe. I got the pickle mule this time though and really liked it.“
“Very nice restaurant in the heart of Ridley Park. Went with two other couples (made our reservation 30 days out). Metered on street parking out front. We were seated promptly. Brand new menu.Five of the party had the scallops while I had the salmon. Food was excellent, though at more than $10 per scallop we won’t be rushing back. We all agree it’s a nice “special occasion“ restaurant.Parking: On street meters that take an application or accepts quarters.“
“Really great, inventive haute cuisine real Mexican; well executed thoughtfully prepared. Might have slipped a bit since my initial visit, but that could just be me being super impressed first go-around. Quite noisy on the weekends, be prepared to wait for your cocktails.“
“Hands down the best meal I’ve had so far in Philly! We shared the Chef Special and every dish we tried was amazing. Definitely recommend the foccacia (pictured), tuna crudo, ravioli with sweet potato, and cacio e pepe. Our waitress, Kaitlyn, was helpful in explaining the menu and provided great recommendations and service. Can’t wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free pasta is available.“
“My in-laws were in the town, and we booked a table for 4. Even though they were a little late to the reservation, the restaurant made no problem. (They were not happy with it for sure, but they did not make us feel uncomfortable about it. So do not be late still)Fantastic food and a delicious menu. Everything is authentic Italian style cooked. We love it!Decoration needs to be updated but gives old italian vibe, no complaint. Our favorite thing was how our server, Micheal, improved our night. He was quick, careful, professional, and very friendly. He checked on us without needing him—excellent, outstanding professionalism. We love every second of it. We will be back! Special thanks to Micheal.“
“I’ve been here for brunch and happy hour. Great breakfast menu and the food is spectacular. The rooftop is a must see. The only issue is that you have to go all the way to the basement to use the restroom and you aren’t able to take the stairs to exit out the first floor. The happy hour food is great, but the drink offerings and discounts are thin. Something to be aware of: the “dirty double” martini is not actually a double, so that’s kind of misleading. Service and food are great though, so I definitely still recommend checking this place out!“
“I ran in to pick up takeout for after soccer. I did not want to leave! I wanted my husband to join me from Jersey! We are definitely coming back. Angel, the bartender was very friendly and accommodating. The food was prepared quickly and was delicious. The place was romantic and cool and chill all at the same time I did not catch the name of the performer tonight (Monday 3/18), but he was playing Classics adding to the atmosphere : Ring of Fire, Wagon Wheel, I’m on Fire.“
“Cantina “Calaca” Feliz, located in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, is a vibrant spot that brings a contemporary twist to traditional Mexican cuisine. This lively eatery is celebrated for its fresh, high-quality ingredients that transform simple produce, fish, and meat into an array of flavorful dishes. From the pork Al pastor tacos to the Smothered Burrito, each menu item is a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to culinary excellence. The atmosphere is equally delightful, described as bustling and fun, providing the perfect setting for a casual yet memorable dining experience. With friendly service and a menu that caters to various tastes, Cantina “Calaca” Feliz stands out as a neighborhood gem where food and culture blend seamlessly.“
“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“
“A hidden gem! Today my girl friends and I enjoyed a beautiful lunch full of belly laughs and great food. The hospitality was amazing and the food was incredible. All the dishes were bursting with flavor. The drinks were beautifully crafted and delicious. If you’re ever in the Philadelphia area definitely stop by and treat yourself to a memorable experience.“
“My boyfriend brought me here last night. He had been here once before for a business meeting and thought I’d like it a lot! And I did! Everyone was super nice and the food was delicious! The servers ask everyone if they have an allergies or dietary restrictions. Neither of us have any, but I’ve never heard servers anywhere ask about that which I thought was very cool and thoughtful. We’ll be back!“
“I would give 6 stars if I could!!! Such a great addition to Havertown! The food is delicious, love the vibe and the service is amazing!!! The pineapple express wings were AMAZING! I saw some instagram stories saying to get them and our server Marissa (who was the sweetest by the way) sealed the deal by saying awesome they were- she was right!!! I am not a huge wing person and could have eaten 20 of them! The guac is so good and fresh; served with warm chips. My husband and I both got fajitas- shrimp and steak, soooo good! Also the cucumber marg was great, strong (not mad about that) and delicious! Adding this in because my husband is a huge sports guy- the Phillies ended and within minutes they put on March Madness games- no awkward gap where you're watching infomercials for hours (it is his pet peeve haha). So happy that Al Pastor is in town! Can't wait to return!“
“We reserved 333 Belrose for a funeral luncheon for 30 people. From the first contact, Steve was extremely accommodating. The food was excellent, prepared to order & the service was impeccable. We could not have asked for anything more. We can't wait to go back!“
“My friend and I made reservations for drinks on Saturday night (recommend making a reservation via Resy). We were seated upstairs, and it was busy, but not overly busy where you couldn't hear each other speak. We sat at the bar and had the loveliest bartender. The ambiance was amazing, and so were the drinks. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Philly next!“
“A true marriage between a coffee shop and cocktail bar. They serve traditional café fare here, as well as signature flavored lattes, craft coffee drinks, and many cocktails with a coffee or tea twist. Every week, there's also a new special on the menu. They also allow guests to bring food, so you can cozy up with a drink and some bites and hang out late into the night (which we have done many times!)Vegetarian options: Almost all drinks are vegetarian, and vegan milk alternatives are available upon request.“
“SCK hosted a big group of us for a book club and everything went so smoothly! They were supper friendly, accommodating, got us in and out easily without rushing us, were super organized, and the food and drinks were amazing!!! I hope we can host every book club meeting here! 10/10“
“Me and my aunt went on EiD and despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated in no time! Pam was moving like MJ from the Chicago Bulls in the Finals… she gave the ultimate hospitable experience. Great playlist, our food was spectacular.“
“I used to come here 30 some years ago when it was Sonoma. It has been several other restaurants through the years but this is the best by far. There are 2 bars. One on the first floor that has retractable windows to open up to the outside. Then there is my favorite bar upstairs. Light, airy, nicely painted walls with olive leaves and glass ceiling. There is a happy hour Monday to Friday, 4 to 6pm. All their signature crafted cocktails are $7 and they are delicious. Our bartender, Jeff, was welcoming and very knowledgeable about his craft. Love that they use a lot of local products. There are other drink options (see my menu photo below) and fun food items. We ordered 2 pizzas (shrimp and artichoke and the pepperoni). Both were fabulous.I will be returning again for their in house made pasta and I can't wait.Parking: People often think that parking is difficult in manayunk but there are plenty of options in the nearby lots if you can't get one on the street.“
“I’ve now been to Cigar Republic 3 times in the past 30 days. Each time has been a great experience. The team there from the top and throughout are pleasant, accommodating and help to create a relaxed environment. The patrons are the same. I’m mulling over becoming a member.Suggestion, read the rules prior to going as there are no outside cigars allowed. That’s ok because their humidor room has a great selection.*while food is not served, they do allow for deliveries from surrounding restaurants*“
“Stopped here to watch the Eagles vs. Cowboys game. The downstairs area was packed, but there was available seating upstairs. The atmosphere was great, the food was good, & the customer service was on point. Great spot to hang out & watch the games or just kick it with friends.“
“Really fun place for dinner. I enjoyed sitting in the greenhouse, which was heated and comfortable even with the chilly evening. We had the chef's special beef tenderloin which was very nicely prepared. On the side we had a beet salad which was quite nice and battered shishito peppers which were extremely tasty. Overall a great spontaneous choice, and I'd be excited to come back again.Vegetarian options: Much of the menu is vegetarianDietary restrictions: Much of the menu is gluten free or could be prepared gluten free.“
“Very happy with our dinner visit! Food was very yummy, especially the chicken karagee ?!! The ambiance was very nice too — we were particularly please that the music wasn’t super loud (to the point where we need to scream to talk to each other)! Service was great as well! Will definitely come back ?!“
“This is easily the best new restaurant in the area. And it isn’t close. We’ve been to Tommy’s four times now, and everything we’ve had is excellent. I keep track of things we order at restaurants and this is what I had to say:Awesome cheesy garlic flatbread; very good half bbq chicken; best French dip ever; awesome fries; very good burgers; excellent sweet potato tots with marshmallow sauce; very good pizza; very good Caesar (get extra dressing); awesome Cherry Coke ribs; excellent pulled pork; great chips (get side of bbq); amazing toffee dessert. The staff is amazing. Super friendly and attentive. It has a good loyalty program. We’ve already received some rewards. Beware though. It has a sports bar vibe and can get pretty noisy. The food is outstanding. I’d be surprised if they made anything that we didn’t like. Check it out.“
“Love the atmosphere here, it's lovely Great for coffee or tea Love getting a glass of wine or cocktail with friends in the PM Breakfast offerings need to be more extensive Dinner menu changed and not for the better Friend and I were just there and enjoyed the atmosphere and wine/cocktail but there was absolutely nothing we wanted to eat for dinner on the menu“
“Amazing food and polite staff, and a really lively atmosphere. I had a great hangover chicken and waffles (which was personally enjoyably much sweeter than usual at other restaurants, but you do get self serve syrup). However, I think choosing this dish over others here would be doing the restaurant a disservice. It was obvious that with only like three sweet dishes, you should just get their actual food.I’ll be back if I’m in town.“
“The staff and owner are nice folks. Prices are fair and reasonable in this current economy. Food was solid, the French Onion Soup Dumplings were solid. Steak was solid. The cocktails were generally not my style, I prefer mezcals/bourbons/whiskey bases, but the flavor profile was solid; the Drunk Text was the winner. It’s a nice addition to the neighborhood. I’ll be interested to see how they grow in the near future. It would be nice to see a Point Breeze cocktail bar crawl between Dock Street, El Mezcal, Insatiable, Madira and other spots … the local spots could benefit from something like a city-wide competition (shot + beer + app). I would like to see more collaboration between our neighborhood’s restaurants“
“Cool table tennis spot. I attended an event here and there was plenty of food and drinks and friendly staff. Fun environment so I would recommend checking it out if you are in the area. If you are from out of town, there is a parking garage right across the street but it was $30 for 2 hours so just keep that in mind.“
“I had went with some friends to Chika Ramen Bar for the first time. I had originally doubted the food given the very interesting, futuristic, Blade-Runner-esque theme, though I was pleasantly surprised. Though I had originally, believed, all of this restaurant's pull had been contributed to the ambiance, the food was extremely something to die for. The miso soup ramen with chashu tasted fresh, new, and had helped ease my original concerns. The Karage chicken tasted tender, without any dry pieces. Finally, the servers felt down-to-earth, without them forcing you to leave in a hurry. The overall ambiance, service, and food were something I would definitely consider with friends again.“
“Our first experience here, popping in on a rainy Saturday evening. Despite the warm, welcoming interior, the first thing we noticed was how loud the restaurant was. Full capacity with a crowded bar does not need loud music playing! It was exceedingly difficult having a conversation with my partner, we actually gave up and people watched.Food was great! We enjoyed our bacon wrapped figs and goat cheese appetizers. The Tips & Shrimp and short rib pasta entrees were great as were the house-made beignets. The awesome hostess was as doing quadruple duty as Villanova students are one Spring break. She didn’t miss a beat taking our drink and food orders, filling our water and making sure we were enjoying our meal.“

“My husband and I had such a fun time here! We stopped in for drinks before our dinner reservation. The guys behind the bar were so much fun, and really helpful. I described what type of drinks I like, and they came up with recommendations for me. This place is a great addition to Lancaster Ave! We had such a nice time that we bought a gift card for a friend so they could come and enjoy. Can't wait to come back!“
“We had a great dinner at Streetlight. We had a large group so we ordered a lot of appetizers and a few pizzas and it was all delicious. I had the burger as my entree and it was delicious but I could only eat a little because i was stuffed from everything else.“
“Happened into this place for a quick cocktail and nibble with some friends. The cocktails were creative, yummy, and reasonably priced. The nibbles (we had several small plates) were all very good. The Service was a little lacking, HOWEVER- they were extremely busy at the time, and I am guessing short-handed. Atmosphere is good. New, smaller bar scene for after-work crowd vibe. A bit noisy but lively. I would definitely come here again and suggest this place to others.“
“I love the ambiance, food and of course the drinks here! I’m not a huge drinker but I love their cocktails and the menu themes. The complimentary nut mix is really tasty and I love to get the cheese board. Jazz nights are really nice and I always feel comfortable here going solo and sitting at the bar.“
“We were greeted warmly by the host on a busy Friday night in November and seated rather quickly considering how packed the place was. We were a group of 4 and just wanted some drinks post dinner! The location is easy to find and the menu and expertise of their servers were impressive. The cocktails are expensive, HOWEVER, they will have you on your BOOTY after just one. Warning: the spirit forward cocktails are LIQUAAAAAAAHHH, but absolutely amazing. The ambiance was quaint, yet lively. We loved our experience here and would come back again.“
“Tucked away within Downtown Manayunk is the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) Pop-up Garden. There was a Dried Flower Wreath making class that I attended and when I arrived, everything was set up nicely. There are QR Codes on the tables through Toast Take out system. I ordered a drink while I waited for the event to take place. After 10 minutes I ordered fried cheese curd with cherry pepper aioli. This code just places everything on a tab. So cool! The event took place for 1.5 hours and at the end it was a fun night. The environment is so cool with a repurposed warehouse and a beautiful beer garden with lovely greenery everywhere. It's my thing!!After the event I ordered the Jamestown burger with cheese and bacon and their fun Sidewinder fries. Nom nom. That was a delicious, juicy burger with a fresh potato roll. The Negroni and The High Tide, with elijah craig bourbon, green tea syrup, fever tree lemon tonic. Make sure you get that.“
“Great food! We had the jerk chicken and the surf and turf. The portions were huge and well worth the money. Slightly disappointed that they were out of plantains, but the other side dishes were very good. The cocktails were ok and on the cheaper side.“
“Enza is our spot! Everyone at Enza is friendly, smiling, attentive and just fantastic. We would consider this our goto place for a night out. The bar always is a great place to sit and chat with the locals and neighbors. Pizza is spot on as well as the full thoughtful and tasty menu. They have a complete bar and wine list which just adds to all the fun!“
“This was my first excursion into the cuisine of Latin America, but more like Latin fusion. If your palette craves new experiences, Paladar is an amusement park of tasteful indulgences with flavors, smells and tastes that delight. We were so taken that we all shared our dishes with, "Oh, wow! You gotta try this!" From starters to entres to desserts to mixed drinks, our first time won Paladar many return visits. From the ambiance to the enthusiastic wait staff to the amazing speed in which the entres were served, Bravo Paladar. You did it right!Vegetarian options: Hardly any true vegetarian options.Parking: Depending on when you get there, parking can be hard to find as choice spots fill up at dinner hour and prolly worse Fridays and Saturdays. To save time, park at Wegmans and walk a minute or two to Paladar.“
“Had the best service from Diane and Julie. I mentioned i loved sweet drinks, Diane sent Julie to speak directly to me . She took the time to ask me what flavors I loved. The level of personalized customer service is great. My drink was amazing. Thanks Julie and Diane.“
“The venue was almost perfect! It is well appointed, the bathrooms super clean. The set up was great. The bartender was awesome! She was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Friendly and efficient. Good parking, well lighted exterior. I would recommend this place any day of the week.Thanks.“
“We stay at the Cambria every year for PAX and the Treble & Bass is always a highlight of the day. Unwinding after a day on your feet in a cozy bar with great drink options. Our bartender Kevin was awesome! Great to chat with, on point with the beverages, and playing great music.“
“Swung in for a quick afternoon drink with my wife, server was very friendly & answered questions. However I noticed other staff didn't really speak much, and spoke to other patrons as they left, not sure what that was about. However the establishment was very clean, and our drinks was very good.“
“I went here the other night for the first time. A friend recommended it. The food was delicious but the wait was too long. The hostess couldn’t tell me how long the wait was going to be, not even an estimate. In the end she told us about 30-40 min and they would call us. We never got a call so we went in to ask and there was still no seating. Other than that, the place is really cute. Everyone was super nice. I would definitely go again.“
“Had to check out this new spot while visiting Philly and am so glad we did! We reserved for couch seating before the required minimum fees start at 10.Service: initially very attentive but as the place got busier the drinks sometimes took awhile. Not a big deal. It was a little weird sometimes when 1 or 2 drinks would come and not the rest or the order but I know they were just trying to get them out.Drinks: we didn’t get any food so can’t comment but cocktails were decent. I wouldn’t say amazing but pretty good and I liked them.Music: two guys sang cover song hits from the late 90s to now. They really tried to rally everyone. They were ok singers and would take singing breaks occasionally and then dj music for awhile. They were fun and entertaining.Vibes: Its a fun place! Good for celebrations, and a friends night out or date night. There were a few bday groups, then some girls who work there come out with sparks, lights, and signs to announce the bday. Theres bar length seating, a bunch of high tables, and about 7 couch areas. When we went I think all the tables had been reserved and there were still some bar seats open. Then there’s a dance space by the stage. It’s a smaller place than I thought it would be but I think it makes it classier in a way. Its nicer inside than I anticipated because I was thinking more Austin style live music venue.I will definitely go back the next time Im in Philly and look forward to seeing new musicians/ singers. Getting couch seating was everything! With a group its key to reserve one.“
“Went to the open bar for the grand re-opening and the bartenders were attentive and a pleasure. The DJ played a good mix but the "dance floor" was a bit small especially with "VIP booth" within the area. Overall a good space.“
“Came to the neighborhood to look at a rental unit so I popped in here for lunch. Staff was welcoming, drinks were inexpensive, the Angus burger was delicious. Bar tender was super kind and the other patrons we're super sociable. I will be popping back into this place periodically. Hidden gem ♥️“
“This small restaurant is a deceivingly good place for some high quality seafood. The drinks were great, the food was delicious, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. If you’re in the area, it’s a little off the “main strip” of restaurants but totally worth trying!“
“We've always enjoyed coming here with the whole family. We came looking to make a reservation for an upcoming event. Manager Zee, Michael-owner, the chef, and all staff were all fantastic. The place has really been revamped since our last visit. The ambience is beautiful, the lounge is cozy, the bar looks very well set up, including the fireplace. The food was really tasty, just right portions and priced just right..complements to the chef! Looking forward to having a fab night again soon!“
“Food was good. Friendly hole in the wall Latin restaurant. Typical Central American,Mexican, and Puerto Rican food. Sit down tables and a bar area. Upstairs club was closed due to COVID. But the food was surprisingly good for a small humble place in Upper Darby.“
