The restaurant's diverse menu offers a delightful array of flavorful options, from their signature burgers with freshly grilled patties to their crisp and golden fries. What sets Harvey's Brossard apart is its emphasis on customization, allowing patrons to tailor their meals to their preferences. The use of high-quality ingredients and attention to detail in preparation ensures a consistently delicious dining experience. The welcoming atmosphere and attentive service contribute to the overall appeal, making Harvey's Brossard a go-to spot for those seeking a satisfying and enjoyable meal.“
“Really delicious.Starter of grilled cauliflower (really very good) and oysters.Dish: land and sea, impeccable blue cooking, it melted in the mouth and fish'n ship.Impeccable and fast service. But the music was so loud, it didn't make any sense. We had trouble talking to each other even while sitting face to face. Let's say that this is not a restaurant for relaxation but more for being at the party. I wasn't in that mood.$200 with alcohol-free tips for 2.“
“Our experience was outstanding, the food, the wine, the service. All our meals were prepared perfectly. Our service was well paced and not rushed, even with a full house. The wine suggestions were excellent. Very happy we had a chance to dine here after years of wanting.“
“Really nice experience overall. The place was cozy and welcoming, with a really intimate ambiance. The menu was five or six appetizer plates, and five or six main plates. Seeing other photos of the menu I guess they rotate the plate quite often. All the options were really appealing, and we are really happy with what we ordered. The price is expensive, but for a different restaurant experience it was nice. We really enjoyed it.Vegetarian options: There were no vegetarian options“
“This place is the discovery to be made in the Hochelaga sector. The menu is very sophisticated, the flavors are complex and subtle. The service is extraordinary. The number of servers per person is just ideal so that they have time to talk to us about what is on our plates. The menu changes at a constant rate throughout the seasons. The decor is warm and the acoustics are pleasant. It's a little expensive but worth it if you like to explore. And now we can start or end the evening at the Copilote clandestine bar which is located right next door and is operated by the same owner.“
“2nd visit for me last night and once again a wonderful experience. The dishes, the pairings and the SAUCES.... wowww! I also appreciate that the kitchen team presents their creations to us themselves. Excellent knowledge of wines and a beautiful menu. To try!“
“One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Montreal! Every dish was delicious, and I really recommend the fennel salad and lemon yuzu ganache. The service was excellent, and the price was surprisingly not too high considering the restaurant’s high quality. I definitely hope to come back here again!“
“I had dietary restrictions and they made some really bold substitutions which is really appreciated! The butter is amazing!I absolutely loved my experience the food is extraordinary the service is impeccable. You are definitely having a good time“
“First experience at Vin Papillon. First of all, the place is small, the tables are close to each other, that surprised me a little! The service, although immaculate, was however very quick at the start of the meal, perhaps a little too much. Afterwards, it adjusted, it was less rushed and more pleasant! However, the quality of the dishes was up to par. It's excellent. It's creative, delicious! The ham is a must, as is the dessert, carrot cake ice cream sandwich.Excellent choice of wine. All quite affordable! 7 shared dishes, 2 glasses of wine, dessert and coffee for $100.It's wonderfull ! A 5 star without a doubt!!!“
“Good service- not great. Had to request more water and another glass of wine after waiting over 30 minutes. We were seated at the bar and it was a fairly busy night but often staff were available and and chatting. Food was very good but not particularly inventive. This may sound picky but the polenta was floury- not creamy or buttery or cheesy . A small detail but noticeable.“
“They’re extremely attentive to food allergies/intolerances. My friend and I shared a delicious place of gluten free nachos and chickpea fries. Extremely well located for anyone going to Place des Arts. 100% recommend for anyone with celiac disease or other food sensitivities.Vegetarian options: 100% veganDietary restrictions: Gluten free. Dedicated fryer! Knowledgeable staff!!“
“Tucked away at the back of a church this restaurant is truly a hidden gem. We sat at the chefs table and were able to see all the food being prepared and ask the chefs more details about the food. We had the wine pairing menu which was excellent. Our server was very accommodating as one of the wines was not to our taste and they quickly replaced it with an excellent choice. The flavours in each course were delicious and made want to savour every bite. We will definitely be returning to Restaurant Candide again.“
“Went here last night with my wife, and 10 year old daughter. Great location, wonderful and friendly staff. We had raw oysters, lobster fettuccine, risotto, bone marrow, a couple drinks and dessert. Was great food, and experience. We would definitely return next time we are in town.“
“Wow what a culinary experience! And what impeccable service! Everything was perfect ! Congratulations to the entire Pastel team!Do you want to live an extraordinary culinary experience?!I suggest you reserve your place quickly within the next 2 weeks.“
“The food was very good but I definitely didn’t find it exceptional, especially considering the prices. Service was great, everyone who seated us and stopped by our table was very sweet. It’s a cute place, the kind you should probably check out at least once.“
“I had an incredible 3-hour experience with their 7-course tasting menu! My favorites were the beef steak, quail, and two desserts. The beef and quail were exceptionally tender, and the accompanying sauces were bursting with flavor. Both dishes had a divine aroma when they arrived. Even though I’m not usually a fan of sweet dishes, I thoroughly enjoyed their desserts. They struck a perfect balance, not overly sweet, and the sorbet with sponge cake combination was delightful. The meal began with a brown butter mousse amuse-bouche, followed by the sea urchin as the first course. While the brown butter mousse was delicious, the sea urchin lacked a bit of its distinctive flavor for my taste. Unfortunately, the complimentary bread was served cold and didn’t make much of an impression compared to the other outstanding dishes. The service was fantastic. They efficiently cleaned our table, and water and wine refills were prompt. However, I found the ambiance to be a bit noisy compared to Europea, where I had dined previously. Overall, it was a memorable night at this restaurant.“
“Je vous recommande ce restos de quartier..Bouffe trad Quebecoise cuisinée style maison..De plus, le proprios est très sympathique et surtout passionné par l'art culinaire. Si vous êtes perdu dans le plateau et que la fringalle vous pogne..vous savez où aller cogner..“
“Foxy was a culinary delight, and Antoine not only served a variety of delicious cocktails, his service was impeccable. The Truite de Kenauk, the flatbread, the maitake and the Manti d'agneau were all.incredible, and Antoine makes the best Pisco sour in Montreal. You will not be disappointed if you like shareable plates, great flavors, and amazing service.“
“J'ai adoré! Jolie petit resto avec une ambiance très agréable. La serveuse était très agréable, gentille et attentionnée. Un délicieux smoked meat servi avec frites, délicieuse petite sauce et cornichon dans un jolie panier à un prix correct. Tout était parfait, je recommande.“
“Super fun local bar with reasonable prices and a great selection of pub eats and drinks. We felt very welcome here! Tell Dylan (Cosmo Goddess) and her delightful compadres we say "hi!" Oh - and buy some of Nick's sauces - yum! ~Kathy and Scott from NC.“
“I visited this coffee shop four times during a week stay in old Montreal. The coffee (I got flat whites) was consistently very good. The service was always friendly. They serve oat milk as a default (though regular milk is also an option) at no extra charge. I very much appreciate their effort in helping us all shift towards more sustainable choices by making them both affordable and delicious. Good looking pastries too!Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian savory scones and one of two sandwich options is vegetarian.“
“I’ve tried many of the dishes and each time I am over the moon! You can feel the love in every bite. The atmosphere is cozy and the playlist is always perfect to set the vibe. The server Alejandro is absolutely wonderful. 10/10 would recommend!“
“I love this place. I’ve been several times and I’m only ever disappointed by their proclivity for natural wines. Otherwise it’s an easy can’t miss spot. The menu is constantly updated but there’s always a few staples that are worth a shot. I recommend the gnocchi and the oysters are always tops too.“
“An extraordinary culinary experience. We ate so well, I recommend it and I will return there with friends in the coming weeks for sure. The service was fast and impeccable. We loved the warm atmosphere and the natural decoration. My star of the day, the onion soup. Thanks again.“
“This creamery offers unforgettable frozen desserts. Their flavors are each more delicious than the last and are created with exceptional know-how. Whether you are looking for traditional ice cream or a vegan option, this creamery offers a wide choice of delicious flavors. Don't miss the opportunity to discover this Montreal institution!“
“The food is delicious, well presented, and original. The chef tasting menu is totally worth it and can be tailored to your needs (ex. no meat). The service is excellent!A great place for sharing a meal in good company.Dietary restrictions: We had the tasting menu without meat.“
“Wow! What a great discovery! Everything is perfect, the decor, the atmosphere, the attentive staff and what can we say about the food! Simply delicious! The cod and scallops are perfect! I recommend it without hesitation, you will not be disappointed.“
“1st experience in this establishment about which I have only heard good things. I must admit that the dishes lived up to my expectations and even beyond for some.To taste a bit of everything, we chose the menu to share. The dishes arrived at a good pace, unfortunately I didn't remember the name of the dishes but it was delicious. The impeccable and attentive service, the waiter even brought us a surprise guest (see photo).“
“I can't say enough good things about Brasserie Bernard! The food never disappoints, the ambiance is "chaleureux" and the service always attentive, friendly and professional. It is one of our favorite restaurants in Montréal and there is zero pretension!“
“This place has a very welcoming atmosphere, the service was very good, polite and fast. The menu has very decent options for different palates so nobody can feel left out. My food was just mouth watering. Everyone I was with cleaned off their plates. The owner is a top class gentlemen. I think this restaurant is an absolute gem, perfect for date night or a get together with friends. My only regret is that I haven’t experienced the terrace yet.Parking: Can be difficult finding parking but well worth it“
“Clearly the place to go for brunch on the weekend at a bargain price without having to make a line-up! The breakfast options are still limited to eggs, omelettes, pancakes and French toast, but it does it very well for those who cannot afford a brunch at $30-40 per person :-/ The service was impeccable and the retro atmosphere of the restaurant is absolutely perfect :-)“
“Frankly friendly bosses. It seems that the employees are well treated: they are super welcoming and passionate. We taste the best poutine on the island for us, especially the one with ground beef and sautéed onions (don't worry about the i: it's the reformed spelling since 1990!).We leave the place with clothes that smell of frying, but that's the price to pay for eating excellent snack food, in a retro atmosphere without being kitsch. If we could have washable glasses and plates instead of disposable ones, that would be happiness!“
“Excellent experience! Waitress was super nice and the food portion was generous still not too filling so I was able to fully enjoy every item.We stayed close to the closing of the brunch and they gave us little pastries because they had made too many haha. Good price for the food too!“
“This restaurant was my go-to spot when I was a student at Westmount High School back in 2014. Their burgers are huge, delicious, and cost-efficient! I tried them again after a few years, and they were still as good as before. I highly recommend them!“
“This little bistro is a real discovery! We were pleasantly surprised by the diversity and quality of the lunch menu, particularly the variety of tartars offered. Choosing from the different types of tartares was a real pleasure, and each of them was tasty in its own way. The warm ambiance of the bistro added to our dining experience, allowing us to fully enjoy our lunch. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience, and we are already planning to return to explore more of what this bistro has to offer.“
“Possibly the best experience I've had in a café and God knows I've visited cafés in Montreal and around the world. Rachel and Alexandre were lovely and very attentive, they provide a customer experience that exceeds expectations. In addition, the menu offered is delicious and truly comprehensive for a café open at the end of the day, offering bistro-style French gastronomy. We all loved the soup of the day and the fresh bread offered on the side. A perfect place for snack or late night munchies. The desserts are to die for. Succulent is an understatement. I recommend and I will definitely return soon!“
“This place is absolutely adorable and quite busy most of the time. There are numerous sweets and snacks available for purchase inside. We tried the red velvet cupcake, some dark chocolate, and a flat white. I would say it is slightly expensive for the portion size you are getting, but it was still delicious. They do have their own coffee, which was not bad! They also accommodated vegan dietary restrictions in some of their sweets and with their hot chocolate, which was very kind.Vegetarian options: They had some cookies, and hot chocolate they were able to make vegan. And many cupcakes that were vegetarian.“
“The place is magical , loved everything in it , except the food lol.Chicken was so dry and tiny that I couldn't find something to eat in it.The server was nuce and courteous, friendly staff..Loved the experience but I would pay the this amount again when there is other option with better food quality.“
“First experience where we were seated at the bar. Cozy atmosphere, pleasant background music without being too present.Friendly and welcoming waitress/barmaid.Wide choice of cocktails and wines. Possibility of tasting certain wines before making your choice. The cocktails promote several Quebec alcohols and use fresh herbs and fresh ingredients, which gives beautiful flavors and all the cocktails tasted were well calibrated. The price offer is reasonable.Small menu but nice variety: several starters tempted me. We chose foie gras torchon and tuna tataki. The foie gras starter is generous; that of the more reasonable tataki. The foie gras starter is a classic with a lovely presentation. The tataki had nice pieces, had nice flavors but it was "out of the fridge" temperature. A little blow of a torch to make it “room temperature”.For the main meal my partner had the beef cheek and I had the seafood tagliatelle. The beef cheek was tender, fat-free and had a creamy sauce. The portion was reasonable but so good that we would have had more. The pasta was good but nothing wow. I would have paid a little more to have real scallops (rather than the really mini ones you look for in the sauce) and the added squid was "stiff" and added nothing. This dish is comparable to what you find in banner type restaurants. It lacks a little love to give it a little something that would make it stand out.We didn't have dessert, being already quite full.We have visited several restaurants and have our points of comparison and overall, the experience was good enough for us to want to go back and try other dishes. The prices are reasonable, overall the dishes were good (the cheek was tasty!), the choice of alcohol extensive and at a good price. The service was fast without being rushed and without reproach. We will return.“
“With a down to earth elegance that fits the area, Colonel Moutarde reflects the passion and care of its employees. From an amazing menu you wouldn’t realize is mostly vegetarian, to the classy and cosy decor, there’s already a lot to love, but the addition of board games that are expertly chosen for you is the cherry on top. It really feels like a British pub, with some good games.Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious options, not just salad“
“We reserved for a big group in the back room. Lots of good drinks, lots of food from the set family style menu and we loved having a space for ourselves that still felt connected to the restaurant. Would definitely reserve for a big group again. Fernando was helpful through the whole process.“
“Équipe EXTRAORDINAIRE ! Service impeccable et nourriture excellente. Je suis accueillie avec chaleur et joie depuis j’ai déménagé dans le quartier en juillet. JF, Mathieu, Manu, Gab, Isaac, Kevin, Pénélope, et tous les autres sont des beaux êtres humains! ❤️“
“Best diner I’ve been to in Montreal! The burgers are just amazing and the fries are fried just right! They are friendly and the portions are incredibly generous. I’ve just had the burgers but I’m trying every single dish. Can’t recommend enough!“
“I went there for a lunch with friends and we really appreciated the selection of wines, the atmosphere and the freshness of the ingredients. The service was also very good. I recommend!Vegetarian options: There were a few vegetarian choices on the menu.“
“The General Staff invites you to a treat as well as a warm and friendly atmosphere. The chef offers a wide variety of dishes that will delight you with the presentation, the originality and also the flavors that sprinkle them. Bring your own wine and enjoy your meal.“
“I loved. The atmosphere and the staff are incredible. The food is very good and what about the drinks? I'm very picky about cocktails. It's extremely rare that I say "wow" and here... it happened twice. An excellent discovery and I can't wait to go back.“
“Best breakfast poutine that I have ever had. I’m not exaggerating. I’m from out of town and stumbled upon this place with friends back in 2021. We all tried the breakfast poutine and fell in love. I haven’t found a better one since. Until January of 2024. I went back to this restaurant again while in town and they improved the poutine by adding salmon. What a blessing to my day.“
“We have been ordering from this restaurant for years, last night we ate the all dressed pizza and the chicken skewer. The pizza dough was excellent, as well as a very good amount of cheese, for my taste I would add a little more tomato sauce but it was still very good. For the skewer, everything was great, very good quantity and presentation, the rice 10/10. The quality/price ratio is really good. Thank you!“
