“We had a great experience at Lim's! The service was fast and friendly, the restaurant was very clean and well maintained. The sushi/sashimi was very fresh and perfectly prepared by true professionals as we sat and watched at the bar. We will definitely be back soon when the sushi craving hits! “I made reservations for 7 PM on a Friday night for the Omakese (I leave it up to you the chef) Experience. We were brought to the sushi table where there were 8 seats set up around the chef. Our chef's station was a total party of seven who reserved the Omakese experience for the night. Most of the chef's choices were imported from Japan and some were from Hawaii. 1st - the squid, which was very tasty, popped in your mouth when you ate it. 2nd - Monkfish liver pate. I was a little scared at first, not going to lie, but it was great. 3rd - amazing piece of tuna with some truffle on top. Amazing! 2nd favorite 4th - Mackerel, which is usually fishy tasting, but wasn't with the garnish. 5th - Charred Japanese diver scallop. Amazing! 6th - Shrimp...delicious! 7th - Yellowfin Tuna...Very good! 8th - Charred Salmon Belly...the absolute best (melted in your mouth). 9th - Japanese Red Snapper...Very good! Touch of citrus. 10th - Uni (my least favorite) texture and flavor wasn't for me. 11th - Kobe beef with Uni....Fantastic!!!.. the Uni was fine with this pairing. 12th- Tuna with gold and caviar, tie for 3rd favorite 13th - Smoked Salmon (smoked from a cocktail smoker) Amazing! 3rd favorite. 14th - a hand wrap...very good 15th - Homemade Miso soup with clams 16th- Cheese cake, imported from Japan! Definitely worth the $100 per person for the experience...can't wait to go again!“

When my dinner was delivered I realized I had accidentally ordered the wrong item through the Grubhub app. I called the restaurant to ask if I could bring back the wrong item for the correct item. Not only did they tell me to keep the incorrect item, but to stay home and they would deliver an entire complimentary meal of the correct item as a courtesy. “Finally ordered from here and so glad we did! Their selection is incredible - I was craving hibachi without wanting to go sit in the restaurant. They had exactly what I wanted! Even more amazing was their General Tsao's chicken. My husband is the pickiest when it comes to this dish and he was finally happy to find a place that does it how he likes! “I am a returning customer because our first visit was amazing. We sat at the bar and Our bartender was a nice young lady who was very knowledgeable and attentive at the bar. Very pleasant the whole time and the food was so amazing. Couldn't wait to come back.Then we came back...Peter was his name, and disappointment was his game.I asked for 2 Mojitos and I got 2 cups of gross sugary carelessness. My fruit and mint was not muddled or even shaken. He definitely just poured them in sequence over some lime and mint and handed them to us.I asked him to make them again cause we couldn't bear to choke them down. I was very nice and polite but I'm not gonna pay top dollar for zero effort.He brought the drinks back over...AND POURED THEM BACK INTO THE SHAKER! Added what I assumed was lime juice,(he did muddle them this time cause I asked him, even tho he said he muddled them the first time.)Then redistributed the drinks from the shaker back into the glasses and brought them back.After that he sat down and was folding napkins at a booth, away from the bar. Which on a Friday night seems strange to me.Getting up to help the lovely young lady's but kinda avoided us and also had and attitude with another patron at the bar so it wasn't just us ?The food thankfully was fantastic except for Peter not hearing us about the wasabi on the side of a sushi roll and put all the sauces together on the side including the wasabi.(Had to ask someone else for a spoon cause he was sitting at the booth away from the bar ?) “I'm a Sashimi type of guy.. I bring my own hot sauce and everything. I ordered the Sashimi sampler for 2 and The thickness of the Sashimi was great compared to other places. The scorpion bowl was delicious and made with orange and pineapple juice instead of that sweet and sour mix. And the presentation of the plates was nice.“

“My family and I went to Yama Fuji for Easter and really enjoyed the hibachi. The food was yummy and the wait staff was very accommodating. What I especially appreciated is the patience with which they treated my son who is nine and autistic. The chef in charge of the hibachi took the time to soothe my son when he became frightened of the open flame from the grill and promised him that he would warn him before using any more flames. “Love the food here. Always good. The downstairs dining room is not nice. It's draughty when the door opens and feels neglected versus the upstairs. Our server was lovely and thanked us for our patience but the fact was that service was really slow. Not just the elaborate food items. It also took 25 minutes to bring us edamame and I had to ask twice to get my sake which then turned up about half an hour after it was ordered. Understaffed?“

I have tried tempura shrimp rolls in the past which were delicious for a great price and recently had some simple avocado roll. What can I say, the avocado was nice and fresh which is the most I can ask for. Fast service, friendly, relatively low prices and good food. Only complaint is that they should clean the seating area a little more often.“
