I have mixed feelings. Our first visit was over a decade ago and it was wonderful. Our anniversary was yesterday and it was an ok experience. We sat in the courtyard AB’s was placed under the above heater. We started smelling gas and the heat never reached the table area. So we were freezing. The appetizers were wonderful. Absolutely stunning atmosphere. We sat in the outdoor garden area which we requested. Service was perfect, food was impeccable. I had the Roasted Duck and he had the Jambalaya…both were the best we had ever tasted. Definitely a place to go to when in Charleston. Cannot wait to go again!
I can't say enough good things about my birthday dinner at 82 Queen. The cocktails were creative and delicious. The food, nothing short of amazing! I highly recommend the short ribs. Awesome appetizers and desserts. Wonderful service from our server which included a birthday card from the restaurant waiting on me at the table and a birthday drink from the server. 82 Queen will always be a favorite of mine! It is a Charleston classic that has stood the test of time.
