“Absoluetly phenominal tacos. Too many great options to try in one trip, so no doubt you'll be back. I grabbed 3 diffefent ones but the the firecracker shrimp and fried chicken ones absoluetly stand out and I wish i lived closer. Great service, friendly an attentive staff, and a clean, welcoming environment. Well worth the trip!“

I tried the habanero pineapple drink. I was expecting it to be spicier. But I love spice so maybe it’s normal for y’all. I ordered tuna and bang bang, shrimp tacos, and pork belly ( current taco if it sells a daughter gets donated to a charity ), I was pleasantly surprised with my whole meal. It was excellent!
Love, the fact that they give back to charity. They also have trivia night I believe on Tuesdays. They also have taco Tuesday where they have a couple of varieties of their tacos for three dollars apiece.
I would gladly come back to this place and I sure will.“

“Bomb whole in the wall spot. So worthy to check out. Around the corner from its sister restaurant and track ice cream, and a short walk from king street. The Cochinita pibil tacos rocked my world. From the homemade tortilla - corn or flour it’s pressed homemade. Perfect vehicle to sop up the juices. The choice of salsas is top notch.
Quesabirria tacos are the perfect homy feels grab on a sunny or rainy day.
The aqua fresca’s are DELICIOUS. The hibiscus is my favorite.
If you’re craving something sweet there is a nice selection of Mexican candy and treats when cashing out.

“Delicious food! Excellent and quick service. Staff were friendly and our waitress was wonderful. The store itself is very unique, I enjoyed looking at everything while waiting for our food. Would love to go back. Parking was easy to find and free. There is also a very cool outdoor seating area!“

“I’m a Texas gal living here in Charleston and I’m particular about my Tacos! Had some friends stay at an Airbnb across the street and it was convenient so I finally went. I’ve now been twice in less than a week. Everything is so fresh. Well flavored. Delicious. Cocktails are lovely. Staff was helpful and attentive both times. Casual, fun, and yummy for my tummy! Go!“

Only 2 recommendations... deeper salsa dishes, and some sound absorbers needed on the ceiling. Was a bit loud, and would be difficult to have a conversation with another couple. “Small family owned Mexican restaurant. Limited seats available. The chips and salsa was good.. I ordered the fries with beef and cheese. It was ok. Wasn't enough seasoning. It tasted bland. Then I got there famous fajita with chicken add extra cheese. That was ok as well. Just wish it had more flavor. But overall it was just ok .“

“This is the absolute BEST in CHARLESTON! 🌺 🌊 Me and my family love this place! Great service, food, and environment! It was so great there, I thought the check was going to come back so EXPENSIVE!! But NO, the payment was so quick and small! (No extra fees either) My small family of 3 ate HUGE meals for $30! And it was so good! We HAD TO tip them $40 for all of the good work they did 👏! The only negative was that my Co-worker said his dish was proportioned wrong and for me my favorite taco (Al pastor) was ok very well made but the flavor was missing sadly. “Fun Tex-Mex restaurant. Food was good - We had chicken soup and guacamole, both great. Fun atmosphere decorations. Usual bar with TVs showing sports. But I'm partial to the USS Enterprise, BB8, and Ada Lovelace on display. And a mural with Santos (Samson) from Mystery Science Theater.“
