“I searched for a restaurant on the water and this popped up. Glad we went because it was exactly what I was looking for. Great atmosphere and the food was delicious. Only problem was it took forever to get the check so we can pay and leave, same as the table next to us. Other than that, highly recommend.“

“If Poppyseed is anything, they are consistent - I’ve now experienced Poppyseed on five occasions and each experience has been truly great. The waitstaff have all been kind and professional, and the owners appear to be there for every lunch service working hard alongside everyone else. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Poppyseed has now become the place we bring visitors and have team get togethers. When Local Dish closed we were looking to find another informal and friendly place - happy to say we have now found it.Running a restaurant is incredibly difficult - it’s an orchestrated performance that can be exhausting, but the owners and team keep showing up day after day and deliver. This restaurant is a compliment to this town and community and I’m grateful that the owners have put their heart and soul into creating something special.“

“Delicious food! I've been here twice and both times were busy but with a nice vibe. Staff is pleasant and work together. Service was slow but it was evident they were short on servers. They have great specials with a bottle of wine starting at $15 (bottle special day). The vegetarian options are tasty! I had the roti canai and vegetable roll...both delicious. The roti to sauce ratio is off, you need more roti. The vegetable roll was fresh and crunchy but you definitely need the sauce because it's not seasoned. Would definitely return!Vegetarian options: There are quite a few vegetarian options on the menu. Roti and noddles are my recommendations.“

“Great place to shop for quick dinner fix. Great homemade candy, desserts and pies. Meat market is great.Always love the time of year when they have strawberries fresh from the field and peaches fresh from their Peach Vineyards. Wish They Carried more local wines and a variety of Cheese's. Prices are quite a bit higher than local supermarkets. I am soooooooo happy the shrimp and grits mix is back! We have been waiting a very long time for this awesome mix it makes a fantastic meal.“

“My husband and I went here because I was craving sushi, im about 6 months pregnant, and before you say anything, yes, we made sure everything we ordered was fully cooked. It was delicious. The ordering process was a tad frustrating as even the manager did not seem to know what was fully cooked. That's the only reason why it's not a 5 star. They did their best to accomadate us though. We love this place, we are from the coast and are spoiled by extremely fresh fish and this is the only place that meets that standard. Would recommend it, but if you are pregnant or only like cooked fish, just come prepared and do your research so you aren't fumbling like us.“

“I enjoyed this place. The menu felt more authentic than a lot of Mexican restaurants. I had the fajitas and my wife had the street tacos. Both were good. The man that served us was a very charming older gentleman.Dietary restrictions: Most Mexican places can accommodate for a gluten allergy by using corn tortillas. This place did that. Maybe not safe for celiac people.“
