“Awesome experience! We went on a Sunday around noon it wasn’t very busy. Our server’s name was Dwayne. He was excellent and offered great recommendations. Aaron came over to check on us and he was super friendly and professional. We had shrimp and grits and chicken and waffle. The food was fresh and tasted AMAZING and it was clean. I highly recommend.“

“The atmosphere is the best part of the place. I had the smash burger , my wife ordered hot chicken, I should have got the chicken It was much better than my burger. They serve cocktails nice mimosas. The place seems a bit pricey though. The breakfast look top-tier. This wouldn't be my go-to spot if I was a local. It's right next to the suites so it has a touristy pricepoint. Cheesy grits were perfect though. That's a nice hush puppies too. It's well organized counter means you walk up to the counter, order , go sit and they bring it to you. It's fast thorough and the food was outstanding--a tad bit greasy but definitely tasty. I'm on vacation so I was very pleased I found this place, I'll be back for the chicken and waffles in the morning outstanding ice cream desert. Thanks Grit Counter.“
“So I had barbecued ribs, boiled cabbage, collard greens, and mac & cheese and cornbread and I’ve never been so full in my life and I couldn’t stop eating it amazing food, and the girls work in the front are very, very sweet. They’re a little quiet for customer service, but they make up with it was sweetness.“

“Crab Du Jour was great. They have a great selection of finger foods if you're willing to get down and dirty. As well as an assortment of on plate choices if you're not feeling the mess. Marquelle was awesome and cordial; our drinks never went empty. We were approached by multiple people as well who tended to us as needed. Pricing varies for what you want to eat. It is on the higher side of the seafood market. I, however, consider it worth since not many Cajun places do it this good.“

“First time visiting, and it was amazing. Everything was good. I went with a group of 15 and the service was amazing, the food came out quickly and it was delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and they have really funny signs all over the walls. Great place to enjoy good old southern BBQ food. If you are close to the Ladson area .are sure to stop and try this place out.“
“Middleton Place is really special. First the staff are very helpful. And they are easy to find. Everything is well organized & with the map, it's not hard to get around. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. There are plenty of beaches to set and enjoy the views. It's nice the restaurant is on the grounds. Having a place to set, cool off and relax helps so much.“

“It is an old ice house and a very comfortable feeling inside. The hamburgers are the best we have ever gotten here. Waitress was attentive and personable. I bought every flavor and went down the row to try a bite and OMGGGG, the moisture and texture to the cakes is top tier damn good!
