“The atmosphere is the best part of the place. I had the smash burger , my wife ordered hot chicken, I should have got the chicken It was much better than my burger. They serve cocktails nice mimosas. The place seems a bit pricey though. The breakfast look top-tier. This wouldn't be my go-to spot if I was a local. It's right next to the suites so it has a touristy pricepoint. Cheesy grits were perfect though. That's a nice hush puppies too. It's well organized counter means you walk up to the counter, order , go sit and they bring it to you. It's fast thorough and the food was outstanding--a tad bit greasy but definitely tasty. I'm on vacation so I was very pleased I found this place, I'll be back for the chicken and waffles in the morning outstanding ice cream desert. Thanks Grit Counter.“

“My first time here! I was welcome and served by Ms. Brandy. I was welcomed and seated very quickly. The menu has plenty of choices for seafood lovers, kids, and non-seafood meals. I ordered the combo basket which had shrimp and fish. The order came with a healthy portion of fries. I also got a side order of chips and salsa! The food was very fresh. Came out hot. But the flavor of the food was wonderful!!! I can tell the oil used to fry in is clean and fresh. It didn’t have that old dirty oil taste. It was wonderful! The home made tarter sauce was great! Probably they best I’ve had. Only complaint was that I wanted more! It was a good portion of sauce. However, the portion of salsa could have been more generous. But I’m sure if I would have asked for more they would have given me more. Brandy took great care of me and kept my glass filled and checked in on me just enough, but not too much. She was a very busy bee. She was serving inside and outside and never slowed down. She’s a very attentive waitress and I enjoyed her company and service. Lovely place and I hope I get the opportunity to come back again with my family. I wouldnt change a thing about my meal or the food. Only thing I can suggest is to wipe the walls down next to the tables. It’s a seafood place so I can only assume shuckin and shellin gets messy.“

“We love this place! The ice cream is delicious and the customer service is usually pretty good. Tonight we showed up at 7:30pm (they close at 8) and the tables were already packed up for the night. I asked the staff and they said the seating was already closed for the night. Which normally wouldn’t be a big deal but it’s very hard for our two year old to eat her ice cream in her car seat. I get wrapping things up 5-10 minutes before closing but 30 minutes before?? Great ice cream if you’re looking for something to go.“

“I was very impressed with Bakers BBQ! My wife and I tried it for the first time tonight and everything was amazing. They were closing down a few minutes early because they had been slow however they were more than willing to serve us and allow us to eat in the dining room. The Food was great! The cucumber salad was a huge hit with both of us. Also the meat sampler platter was HUGE. Easily could have served 4. I was hesitant about the smoked cream cheese, and its the thing I ended up liking the most!! Unique and really good. Don't miss it when you are there. Served with the pita chips it can be a meal in itself. Pickle chips were exactly what you think a fried pickle chip is. Beers were good and worth the 3.79 overall brewery rating on Untapped. Good draft variety, offerings of wine and cider as well for those who don't like/can't have beer. Was quiet the day we were there, but certainly can see it getting busy and loud. Recommend for lunch, absolutely. Wish I could give 4.5 stars. It wasn't quite 5, but it is better than 4.“

She want above and beyond to make sure my food wouldn't be contaminated and her manager even personally made my pizza. I had no issues after eating my pizza, not to mention it was delicious!
